Jun 2019 - $72.00
The owners and staff were very friendly. They had lots of activities. But the campground needed to be better maintained, gravel needed desperately. Pool is unusable, they're trying to fix it themselves. - Becky1978
Jun 2018 - $37.00
Stayed one night in a tight little pull-through. Bathrooms were somewhat primitive, initially dirty but cleaned by the morning. It was tolerable for an overnight but would not want to spend more than one night. Rather expensive for what was offered. - Skip Pratt
Jan 2016 - $30.00
Very small sites, area is dirty, older couple was extremely rude. This is also a high theft area so watch your possessions. - Full timers traveling for work
Sep 2017 - $25.00
Oh my gosh... Pulling in, we wondered "What the heck are we doing?" But we're desperate for electric, as we had been boondocking in the heat for two weeks. It was 95* when we pulled in!! A lot of seasonal RVers. A lot. It appeared to be a "neighborhood" of RVs, Campers, etc... We arrived, hooked up, turned on the air and stayed indoors that first day. We were parked at the first pull through next to the grassy area. Very level. Plenty of room. There was water. But no sewer. We have a 36' Class A and were able to dump just fine. The next day we sat outside and there was a fish fry, which we didn't attend, but one of the seasonal campers bought over a plate. They were also doing a CornHole Tournament, and after talking to a few of the seasonals, we entered. What fun we had!!! The owners, Ron and Julie were a blast, and they and a few other people came over to our site afterwards and hung out. If you are an uppity, stuck up person, this place is not for you. If you like a neighborly feel, where you can interact with others, drink a cocktail around the fire, then it's perfect. - StephanieBekker

This park is rustic to the extreme. Office is a rundown mobile home, but it does have a new coat of paint. The lady who checked us in seemed very nice and greeted us with a big smile, showing all five of her teeth! It is a rather pretty park but reminds me of the setting for the movie "Deliverance." Looks to be many monthly fisherman sites and younger construction workers, from the look of the people about.
All infrastructure looks very old and well used. Power (pedestals) are mostly old and not well designed. Voltage did seem to be stable, at least for a small RV with a low BTU air conditioner. Picnic tables provided but are in very poor condition. Looks like it could be difficult to get out if it should rain very much.
We found the directions to the park very difficult to follow, and it was much farther from the highway than we were lead to believe. Since it was the only park we could locate in the area, we came anyway and for a 1 night stop. The value is probably good, but we would not be comfortable staying here for very long.
Nice enough people but just not our social set since we don't drink "Bud" in large volumes. - RV Camper1

After staying here and reading the previous reviews, I couldn't stop laughing. It is full of permanent trailers with parties on the weekends. Some of the trailers are older than me and I am in my 40's. People are mostly friendly and really enjoy the adult beverages. I do agree about the bathrooms and showers. They are so bad that none of us would shower there. The state parks have much better facilities. The dump station is not worth the effort and they only a few sites with sewer. The water was the worst. It actually stained our water lines, toilet and shower in our camper. Not a place I would choose to go back to at all. - TravelOBRN
Jul 2014 - $1.00
Please note this resort/campground has ceased operations and is no longer in business. As of July, 2014, the property is for sale. - Rogo
Sep 2013 - $1.00
Camped here under Resort of Distinction (ROD) membership. Internet is good - cost is $2 for 24 hrs. Sites could use rock on sites and main roads - caused a lot of dust. We were there in Sept and it was off season. Personnel were friendly. Would camp here again. - partlot
Jun 2012 - $8.00
Spent 1 night while traveling under WHR. Asked for FHU 50amp in open area for rooftop TV dish, worked well. Sprint cell & hotspot worked good. Did not see the rest of the park, worked OK for a night. - big greg
Aug 2019 - $25.00
Had a choice of sites. No problem getting level. A very nice, quiet public park. Great place to stop if you are going through north-central Indiana. - slay
Jul 2019 - $25.00
There is lots to do in this park. Restrooms are concrete floors as well as showers and overall clean but no maintained well. We were talking US 24 highway as a way to avoid going south through Indianapolis. Was a good route to here for sure. Management was nice. This is a county run park and the newer general manager is doing a lot to make it a better park. WIFI was excellent in the RV area on loop C. - Mark from Missouri
Oct 2018 - $25.00
Nice county park in the middle of nowhere. Not close to any interstate. However, great, quiet stay. Lots to do. Almost a destination in itself. Very wooded, no bugs, clean and spacious, lots of playgrounds. Very popular with locals. Waterfall on site. big lake on former quarry. Diving available! - WeGo2See
Sep 2019 - $40.00
This is a fabulous park. The sites are exceptional, large, clean, well equipped. Plenty of room for 45'mh and tow. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the many activities. The only drawback was cell service, no Verizon or Sprint, but we're willing to overlook this as all else was enjoyable. - CupcakeRIA
Jun 2019 - $26.00
Great park !! Very easy for big rigs to navigate. Family park with plenty of activities - hiking, biking trails. There is a water park. Very well kept campground. Maintenance on the restrooms and sites is very good. Our site was level with no pooling of water. We would stay here again when in the area. - JR and The Boys
Apr 2019 - $30.00
This is a very spacious, very clean, very level, very well kept campground. As our daughter attends Purdue University, we stayed here over the Purdue Aviation Day weekend. It was very accessible to the university and to town, but far enough away to feel remote. It was a great site and the views were outstanding, especially in the mornings and evenings. We will be back! - MMiles
Sep 2018 - $28.00
This is a gem of a campground. Years ago tractors were used to create meandering lakes among the hills and trees creating the perfect fishing and campground. The shaded sites help in hot summer days and there is also a pool on site. Catch and release in the stocked lakes require a fee which is fine because it keeps it maintained. The owners have been there 26 years and work hard to keep the grounds mowed and clean. It was a joy to see the families gathering over the Labor Day weekend. WiFi worked fairly well with Verizon Jetpack and over the air provided a couple tv stations. The only suggestion I have is that there is a huge amount of iron in the water that stained our shower and toilet. There is at least one 50 amp site although we used a 30 amp site. There is no laundry available but nice ones in town. This campground would be difficult for big rigs to navigate. Some RV sites are close together but we were on the end so it was no problem for us. There are lots of tent spaces on the lake that are really nice. A much loved campground by folks in Indiana. - GailMOH
Jun 2017 - $30.00
Previous reviewer did a great job at describing my experience here. Wanted to give a more recent review to show that the place has not changed much, price went up some. We had an end spot that made it feel less cramped. We discovered people leave their RVs there and visit on occasion. Thus one of our neighbors was never there in the week we were there. So the only neighbor we had were behind us. - MichelleKry
Oct 2010 - $26.00
Great location for touring the Subaru manufacturing facility. Very quiet. Quick drive into Lafayette. Many seasonals. Call ahead to check on site suitable for big rig. Very helpful and friendly staff and owners. Would stay here again. - tillie
Jul 2017 - $32.00
We made reservations for a long weekend. We get to the office to ck in and there was no one there. A person in a trailer called & a female manager showed up. I don't even think they had us down & sure didn't have a spot reserved for us. We were there last fall & paid with a credit card. New rule you pay 3% extra if you use a card. I told her I wasn't about to pay their stupid 3%! She was very rude & told me she didn't make the rules! We had to go & find a spot on our own. Very poorly managed! Don't know why the owners don't get new managers! July 4th we got woke up with hearing the portal dump station coming around to clean out people's tanks. When we left there was no body at the office to ck out so we left. Also, another rude thing this manager said that it was a 3 day minimum for a holiday, I told her I had 4 days reserved. On the other hand they let 3 big R V's come on for one night! Not sure if we will ever go back there! They make it sound like such a wonderful place to camp, well it isn't! You get woke up by the train & they have a lot of seasonal campers taking up the good sites. Another thing their drives are horrible. A lot if pot holes! - Reeveston
Sep 2016 - $32.00
There were several bad reviews on the site about this campground. It was a holiday weekend & was told it was a 3 night minimal stay. There was a camper that stayed only one night. There was one site available along the river & it was wonderful! Really nice people next to us & the staff was great! Train was an issue and was very loud at times.
Would stay again. - Reeveston
Mar 2016 - $30.00
Great little campground for just a one night stop. A bit early in the season to see facility in full swing, but management was very attentive and friendly. They were busy grooming and sprucing up the park for the height of the season. Looking forward to a longer stay. The setting, right on the river, is very relaxing and all the campers were friendly and down to earth. - LivToCamp
Oct 2017 - $35.00
We have stayed here a few times now and have always enjoyed the park. The close proximity to Indiana Beach and the trolley system are definite pros.
Clean restrooms and showers. Lots are spacious and mostly shady. Site surface was gravel and features a fire ring and picnic table. - Dplumlee
Oct 2016 - $44.00
Our stay was very enjoyable and will love to come back soon! - beautiful

STAY ELSEWHERE IF YOU HAVE KIDS! Couldn't sit outside with our 9 year old with neighbors talking about smoking Crack on one side and the others WASTED drunk, swearing, very loud music and fighting until 2am! Told park services next mmorning and our second night was same deal! Couldn't leave here fast enough! Brown water! Only positive was free shuttle to amusement park. Mainly used for contractors working in area and drunken hillbillies. Too bad because the place has a lot of potential to be a nice facility if had security monitoring the grounds to keep riff-raff in check. Spent 2 nights inside our camper....:( - Billie J

Brown water! Pot holes in all roads. Weedy and not maintained at all. Lots of potential 40 years ago. Many permanent trailers. The splash pool and Arcade was fun for the kids. This is an old run down park that needs new ownership and lots of $$$. Typical, the pond around the putt putt course and entrance was full of green algae and weeds. Kept blowing the breaker so had to use the 50 amp to 30 amp adapter. Just old fuses. Our neighbor had the same problems. Sewer was 8" out of the ground and in the front of the trailer. I'll never return! - Titansection104
Jul 2018 - $59.00
My fiancee and I thought that there was going to be more to do at the IBcrow campsite, they only had the swimming pool which looked to be clean, we didn't get in. The value for the site is a bit too much, we could had stayed at a hotel for the price. Not much to do but utilize our camper. The Indiana beach campground & IBcrow share some of the amenities but they are all on the Indiana campsite ground. I saw a mini-golf course, game room, water slide and other activities for families that need some TLC , looks run down; we didn't use any of the campground amenities due to this. Our site was 83 and someone was in our space when we checked in; we didn't know this until we drove to our spot, we had to call the office, the lady asked if we could just move into the space next to it, we did but they need to get this together. There was a lot of ant hills everywhere we stepped, the grass was not in good shape at all. The space needed much more gravel then that was there, very unlevel. There was no garbage for each site, we had to walk to a dumper at least 4 to 5 times a day, not convenient! We enjoyed ourselves inside our camper for the most part and enjoyed a little outside time while BarBQ..... - BernardNAngie Route290

We were late arrivals and they made sure someone was there to check us in. Pool area is in good shape and clean. Upper are spots have bigger trees and more shade. Neighbors were all great. Next door Indiana Beach Campground pretty loud. - Christopher Trojan
