Big Rig Friendly! Stayed in our class A, 45' motorhome with tow. Plenty of space, easy to navigate, pretty level concrete pads, full hook ups, picnic table, fire ring. Many sites back up to a large pond. Pool was closed for the season. It rained the 2 days we visited, so we did not explore the area all that much. Staff helpful. Office hours seem a little limited. Nice clubhouse. Casino nearby and a shuttle will pick up. Would definitely return when in the area. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This campground is in a flat open field in a country-like setting. Pads are fairly flat concrete for parking and patio areas. Although located on a main road, park was very quiet. We only stayed one night on our way to Tennessee. Rest rooms/sh. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Bella Terra Casino is a few miles away. It is a lovely facility and they will pick you up at the campground. They have a buffet day and some upscale shops. The casino was closed for updates the day we visited so we did not get a chance to see it. However, judging by the rest of the facility, we assume it is nice as well.

Big rig friendly! All sites are long and level with concrete patio. Front section is open and sunny with limited landscaping between sites. Back section is along the woods and is a little more private and quiet. Pool and bounce pad are available to entertain the kids. Paved trail through the woods will entertain your dog. There's a big clubhouse which would be great for rallies. Nothing to walk to in the immediate area, but Belterra Casino has free shuttle service that runs until 1:30am. Did have a 30 amp breaker issue, but maintenance was quick to respond. This would be an excellent CG choice to tour the area if you have another vehicle at your disposal. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is one of the nicest parks. Concrete level pads with convenient and well working utilities. Roads are extra wide making it easy to maneuver our 45 foot Super C. Large area for unhooking and re-hooking up tow vehicle. Park was full on weekend yet quiet during the week. We stayed for a week. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Excellent facility in southwest Indiana. We had a minor problem with the electric box while here. Maintenance came over and fixed it within 5-10 minutes. The campground is clean and well maintained. The only reason that I didn't rate it higher is that there isn't a lot of shade on the sites. The sites themselves are extremely level. Hookups are easy to access. This is probably the nicest commercial campground we've stayed at. Kudos to their staff. Great folks. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Beltera Casino is nearby. For a little bit of local interest, visit the Neeley Family Distillery across the Ohio River next to the Kentucky Speedway and The Ridge Winery just a mile or two down the road. Both are a lot of fun and very reasonably priced.

Overall Rating:

The park is very nice with asphalt interior roads except for the one in front of our site which was gravel. Looks like they have plans for future expansion. Our site was a long pull through concrete pad with gravel at the ends. Many of the sites are advertised as 55 ft and had asphalt entry. All sites have a concrete patio with picnic tables and grass in between the sites. The area between sites is spacious. The park is surrounded by green pastures on one side and trees on others. The water pressure was not great, but that could have been our inline pressure regulator instead of the park pressure. Although there is a cable connection, and the park brochure indicates cable (website says they no longer have cable), I called the office and they said it was turned off at the end of last season. No TV via antenna. No trees so the satellite worked well. Garbage is picked up at site. They will let you wash on site. Verizon worked well. Closest Walmart is 20 miles in Carrollton, KY. An IGA grocery store is about 5 miles away. The park has WiFi but didn't use. Did not use any of the park amenities. Rates were very reasonable. We stayed 4 nights for the price of 3 nights. We happened to be here at a time they were offering a spring special BOGO. Also Good Sam's discount. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Jewell's on Main (6 miles) in Warsaw, KY has an excellent menu and food at reasonable prices. Ark Encounter (36 miles) in Williamstown, KY is amazing, informative, and massive exhibit full of state-of-the-art exhibits about the biblical account of Noah's Ark. We spent almost 4 hours there. Sugar Bay Golf Course (8 miles) near Warsaw, KY. The Belterra Casino is just 2.5 miles from the park with free shuttle and the Kentucky Speedway is just 7 miles.

Overall Rating:

We stayed one night while traveling in December. There was no one at the office so we called when we arrived. Both back in and pull thru sites are available. Some sites have full hookups designed for winter use but we couldn't use them because they only had back in sites. We drove a class A with a tow vehicle and didn't want to unhook. We filled our water tank from the spigots located on either side of the office and hooked up to electric. A pool is on site for summer use. There isn't much shade and they are close together but the sites are concrete, you get a picnic table, and we didn't have to unhook our tow. Some pull thrus had a lot of water laying in front of each site. We wouldn't stay long term but it was nice for an overnight. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed 3 nights. Paid $38/night plus 5% tax. Total was $39.80/night. Reservation process was quick and easy. We had to change our dates after making our initial reservation. The staff was very helpful and made the change for us without drama. Check-in was fast and efficient. Our site was spacious and level. All hook-ups worked perfectly. We were able to obtain Verizon cell, Verizon Mifi and DirecTV signals. We didn't have much time to explore CG amenities but did enjoy a few walks around the park. It is clean, safe, quiet, well-maintained and, quite simply, it is a very nice place to be. Fellow campers were friendly. If we returned to the area, we would definitely stay here again. Tips for other Campers:

We visited Creation Museum one day and Ark Encounter the next. I really think you need about 3/4 of a day for each to take it all in (as opposed to trying to do both in one day). You can buy a combined ticket at a discount (although it's still quite expensive). Recommend buying your ticket online ahead of time to avoid waiting in line. Both museums have food/snacks for a reasonable price.

Very nice park that is clean and well maintained. Back-in or pull thru sites are available. Our pull thru site was concrete, level and long enough to stay hooked up with our 43' 5th wheel. Plenty of space between sites, patio, picnic table and fire ring. Free wi-fi, large play area for kids, pool, catch and release pond and a walking/bike trail. Kentucky Speedway about 10 miles away. Checking was very fast and easy. Excellent staff. Very well maintained park in a good location for venturing out or staying in to take it easy. Roads, sites, and patios are paved with nice grass between the sites. Some sites back up to a lake which is catch and release. We saw people catching fish every time we sat out by the lake. We stayed for two weeks and will definitely stay here again. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This very nice RV park is situated along Indiana Hwy 156 (Ohio River Scenic Byway), just 2.5 miles west of Belterra Casino. The main roads within the park are paved and easily navigable for the largest of coaches. All the sites (back-in and pull-through) have long, wide concrete pads, a concrete patio with a wooden picnic table, a fire ring, cable tv, and daily trash pick-up. Sites are widely spaced and nicely angled to allow for privacy at each site. Amenities within the park include a large "catch and release" fishing pond centrally located on one side of the park, a heated, salt-water swimming pool, a large children's playground with padded ground, a bounce pad, horseshoes, volleyball court, basketball hoop, laundry facilities, restrooms with showers, and a huge community center with video games. An added plus is the 0.7 mile long off-site walking/biking path which offers great exercise due to the hill climb at the end. When added to a lazy figure 8 along the paved roads in the park, it makes for a nice 1.35 mile trail. There is also a small convenience store located in the registration office which sells fire wood, bags of ice, soft drinks, ice cream, park t-shirts, and a small variety of RV necessities. We can't extol enough the virtues of the owners/staff of this park. We had the need to call the park's emergency number at midnight one night, and immediately received a call-back from one of the owners, with the offer to come to our site to help us out, even though he lived about one-half hour away. Absolutely amazing customer service, a quality very much appreciated! The owners take great pride in maintaining their park, and can be found throughout the day doing maintenance, mowing (lots and lots and lots of grass!), cleaning the pool, working in the office, etc. If our travels should ever bring us back to this area, we will definitely stay here again. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed so far 2 weeks but plan on staying about 8 weeks total. We were looking for a place so I could recuperate from knee replacement with all hookups which is hard to find in this area. Nice quiet place. Nice little pond to fish catch and release. Playground. Big Jumping pad for the kids. Bike trail. Very well taken care of. Lawns mowed weekly. Garbage picked up at site. Nice heated saltwater pool during summer. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
