We have stayed at this park in the past. The park is nothing special just a place to set up your RV, with full hookups including 50 amp. The park has a laundry room. They let you send or receive mail. There is a fishing lake on site, no license required. The interior roads and set up sites are gravel, the surrounding areas are grass and trees. The down side of the park is that it is next to a major highway and the train runs along side of the park. During the day this was not a problem, however! at night WOW! get some ear plugs, I did and that worked. Bring your ear plugs. I would stay again. Other than the above, it is a nice park. I would rate the park a 10 except for the night time noise. We camped at New Vision RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a nice little overnight. They take Passport America, which really makes it more inviting. There is a very nice lake on the property with room to walk pets. We had a pull-through site facing the lake. The sites are somewhat close together, but most pull-throughs are. Our biggest issue was the ants around our spot. There were mounds everywhere, but they must have sprayed recently as we didn't really see any to speak of. Just wanted to make you aware to check before setting up, especially if you have pets. The utilities all worked perfectly. The office manager quite friendly. It was a great place in the middle of nowhere to stop for a night or 2. The downside is there is an above ground coal mine next to the campground that is a bit noisy, and the highway on the other side. For an overnight though, these can be overlooked as we did not hear much noise in the RV. We camped at New Vision RV Park, LLC in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We got some of the best tasting tomatoes in years at the little farmers market across from Casey's gas station next exit. The watermelons in the area are not bad either. That is what they do there!

Overall Rating:

The RV park was neat and clean. We arrived late in the afternoon and met the owner as they were going out. We talked later on the phone and made arrangements to register and for payment the next day. Very helpful and friendly. Wi-Fi is there, but their supplier is Frontier and Frontier has yet to move into the computer age. There are some noise sources near the park, but we slept well. We will stay there again when we are in the area. We camped at New Vision RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Vincennes is just a few miles south and there is a Walmart. The park is on the east side of the highway, not the west as our GPS tried to tell us. You will enjoy your stay.

Price reflects Good Sam discount. A very nice, well-maintained, family-run park. Good level, gravel sites provide easy access for big rigs. Sites are nicely shaded though some trees are overhanging and can be close to slide outs. Train and road noise, so if that bothers you go elsewhere. Bring your fishing pole, no license required. We camped at New Vision RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.
