When I filled this out, it is mandatory to click what I camped in. We drove in to see about sites, the cost, etc. When you first turn into this campground, you drive up a long winding driveway through the woods, then come to an office. There was a sign that they would return immediately--but no one did. I used the bathroom which is located on the side of the office and it reeked badly. I wasn't sure if it hadn't been cleaned that day and someone had trashed it out, or if it always smelled that way. We decided to proceed driving through and possibly write down lot/sites we might possibly be interested in staying on, so went up over the hill. Immediately you see old run down rv's with pure clutter all over the place. Some decks looked like they were falling apart. We then found the pool, and no one was in it, but it was clean. Small, but clean. We then drove up through the field which takes you around a loop. We didn't even bother writing down any lots as its too run down in there, too dirty, and some of the "tenants" were already loud from drinking. I guess with it being mid afternoon the good thing about people like that is they fall asleep early so don't keep you up all night? Regardless --its very run down, alot of the very old campers really needed a cleaning, some were packed in depending on what part of the campground you were in, and we left. We never did find anyone to ask questions to--which turned out to be a blessing to us. We wouldn't even stay there if it was a one nighter on our way through the area. When you are at the office, the playground is super old, and off to the left of that as you are proceeding up the hill are a few campers rotting away off to the side. If you are able to drive through it yourself while in the area, do so and make your own judgement of this campground. Standards aren't too high for anyone claiming this is a clean place or nice looking. We did see some new rv's in here but those don't help the rest of the place look good. So...even though I had to put that I had a camper--we DID NOT and would NEVER stay here. Needs a serious cleaning of everything in here. We camped at Indian Trails Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

A previous review from 2012 is inaccurate. I am one of the "permanent resident campers" that was referred to in that review. While some of the review is correct, there are some areas that could stand to be cleaned up, the reviewer could not possibly have toured the entire campground and gone on top of the hill where the majority of permanent campers are located. The campers there are NOT rundown and in fact have decks and decorations that are beautiful. This campground does not have a restriction, as some do, for the age of the camper. There are campers ranging from brand new 2013's to much older, however they are NOT rundown. There IS a swimming pool up on the hill and there are many sites with trees. Pets are DEFINITELY welcome as are children. There are sites that a larger camper could indeed "pull through" with no difficulty whatsoever. The staff is very friendly and helpful in getting new campers set up. The resident campers are extremely friendly and welcome new campers, permanent or weekender. The sections for tent campers are all mowed and under trees and a shower house is readily accessible. This campground is a wonderful place to spend a weekend or an entire camping season! There are trails through the wooded areas that golf carts can travel or they can be hiked without problems. If you are looking for a FRIENDLY, welcoming place to relax and enjoy camping, this place is definitely one I would recommend! We camped at Indian Trails Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground has long winding gravel road through the trees to get to check in. No 50 AMP. Sewer hookups were just an open 3 inch PVC pipe. Very few sites available and most were to tight among trees to get into. Most campsites are permanent residents with extremely run down campers. Park is scattered with all kinds of debris and looks like a dump. Would not stay here again and would suggest avoiding this campground. We camped at Indian Trails Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
