This city park has is a great place to spend a night or a few days. The area is very well maintained with lots of grass, clean fire pits, etc. Sites are adequate, but not overly large. There is a tree on every site. We will definitely camp here again if we're in the area. - Bobbi1948
Dec 2015 - $20.00
We stay at this campground every few months while visiting family in the area. We've stayed both summer and winter (on our way to warmer climate) and always find a good, level pull through site. It is self-pay. There are large shade trees so you have to maneuver to get satellite service. The park is well maintained with playground and disc golf. Restrooms are clean when open but closed in winter. The railroad passes close by, though we aren't bothered in a motorhome. Most sites have a picnic table and fire pit. It's a nice place to stay overnight or longer. - prius10
Sep 2011 - $15.00
Very nice clean campground. Restrooms/showers were extremely clean with GREAT water pressure in the showers. The only draw back is that it is right next to railroad tracks: a train goes through about every hour. However, we were using a fold down camper: perhaps with a travel trailer or motorhome you would not notice the noise. If you stop here and do not feel like cooking, be sure to try the roasted chicken at the Dandy Dairy. YUMMY! - Rhonda Koppenhaver
Aug 2010 - $15.00
Nice city park camping. Restrooms with showers are available. There are pull-through and backin sites. Most sites have shade. Park has picnic shelters, trails and a playground. It's well-maintained, clean and neat. Trains do run along the front of park: get a site toward the back if you want a more quiet site. Good for an overnight. Close to town and all services. Has water and electricity at each site and a dump station. - mvano
Jul 2007 - $10.00
This is a city owned campground located next to the city golf course and city pool. Some shade spots and gravel pads. Water and electric hookups only, with dump on the grounds. Restrooms and showers are not well maintained, but the campground is. All in all it is a nice place to spend a few nights and the price is right at $10 per night. We would have no problem staying here again. - marker82

Aug 2016 - $15.00
We were the only RV. The only other person there was in a tent. No one was running the campground. It was self serve. Pleasantly rural and well cared for. Only electricity - both 30 and 50 amp available. - Exodus
Aug 2018 - $20.00
We stayed here a month at a cost of $500. Great site with partial shade. North side of the campground didn't have Sprint reception but south part did. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Well groomed park and friendly town. - CgAZrv
Jul 2018 - $30.00
Right off the freeway, but not noisy. The park is a large circle with one section for seasonal stays. Our full hookup site was 50 amp. There were a couple washers and dryers in the office. Small mom and pop grocery nearby. Great overnight stop. - Uthagan
Jun 2018 - $30.00

Jun 2016 - $10.00
Cheap city (Magnolia, MN town of 222 people) campground to stay in not far from I-90 near the quaint small town of Luverne, MN. Campground is not in Luverne, but in Magnolia about 6 miles to the West. This website did not offer Magnolia as a choice of location in the drop down. That said, this park leaves much to be desired, it is all side by side back in sites. We had to use 20 amp and run a power cord several sites down for power. Pay is via a self pay kiosk and runs $10.00 per night. Cheap no frills place to stay off I-90 in the Southwest corner of Minnesota. Get their before dark, or it will be hard to manuever and find a site, they are not exactly well marked.
On the positive side, Luverne is a very neat little town with a theater and nice restaurants and it is about 6 miles away. Impressive quality of services for a town of such a small size. - Stax
Jul 2017 - $25.00
Park is very nice, spacious sites with lots of shade. Cost is $20 + 5.00 Vehicle pass per day which totals 25@day. Showers and baths were clean, swim beach, fishing, walk and bike paths, playgrounds and V/ball areas. Cities of Canton and Sioux Falls are within 30 minutes. - Jay Miller
Sep 2004 - $10.00
Sites are right next to one another. Park is made for RVs with no slides. Can get in, but might be within 4 inches of your neighbor with slides out. Only 4 sites are 50 AMP the rest are 30 AMP. Most are grass sites a few concrete pads. All sites are back ins. The neighborhood is quiet. - Tallboy
