Sites are kind laid out weird. Nice lake but quite a distance from campground with limited views. Would have a nice beach if it wasn't covered in goose droppings. Park is in a rural setting a few miles south of I-80. Town is actually called Ladora but not near it. - Bjb1775

Sites are small and packed together. There are sites with gravel pads, and some pull-through sites. Most sites are small for motorhomes. Our 27 ft RV just fits in our pull-through. The campground is on a beautiful river with lots of trees. - JJDK

This is a beautiful campground right on the Rock Creek, which looks more like a river. However, there is not a level site in the entire campground. All sites are grass and very soft ground. This is not a campground for motorhomes or even larger fifth wheels. We stayed one night, had blocks under our jacks, and by morning the blocks had sunk in the ground 8 - 12" and we had to dig our jacks out. I would not recommend this campground to anyone with a larger RV. I rated this campground the way I did because of the unlevel sites and very soft ground. - kwikkeys10

My daughter and I stayed here for an overnight in a Class B RV. We arrived and the host was very helpful. We took a spot right on the lake. It was not level but we wanted to be by the lake for the evening. The campground was very clean and people were nice. We were there during the week and it was not crowded at all. We used the 30 amp hookup. If we were in our old Class A pusher it would have been tight getting around. This spot is great for smaller motorhomes and trailers but there seemed to be a few spots for the big ones. We'd stay again for sure. - Flash

We just needed a spot to stop for the night. This place is very easy to get to from the highway but because it is so close there is a lot of road noise. The people at the check-in/gas station/convenience store/grill/ice cream shop were very friendly and helpful. We had a pull-thru in the front row. It was long enough for our 36' motor home with toad (didn't need to disconnect). It had 50/30/20 amp, water, and sewer. We only used the 50 amp. The site was pretty level. It looks like the water and sewer were upgraded or replaced in the last couple years but we didn't use them. There was no fire pit or picnic table but we wouldn't have used them anyway. It looked like most of the sites that were occupied (guessing 50%) were there for work and long term judging by the insulation and skirting. It was cool and there weren't many people outside but the ones we saw were friendly. We would stay here again if we needed a night to stay. - GDB

Quick 1 night stay over. Easy access from I80 with check in at the Phillips 66 gas station. Could hear the interstate but not loud. Facilities were excellent for a quick stay. Did not try WiFi if available, T-Mobile hot spots were enough for Internet. Gravel pad with minimal leveling required. Would stay again. - tfemaker

No frills here, but perfectly functional for our two night stay. Right on I-80 with expected road noise. Check-in is at the gas station where the people were extra nice (and offered great grill food and really good ice cream). Gravel interior roads were fine. We had a shaded narrow pull-through with WES all of which worked well. We had to level up side-to-side, but no biggie. Strong Verizon and ATT, did not look for WIFI. Would stay here again if in the area. - Janau NC
