This is a state park and we were not in state so the rate reflects a surcharge for that and the access fee as well. This is a gem of a park. Electric only but lots of space between units lots of trees and grass. Picnic table and fire ring are at each site and they were full up. We got the last site for the weekend. Not a lot around there but we were meeting friends so we were ok. Lots of areas to hike as well. - John S.
Jul 2009 - $16.00
Nice quiet area with spacious sites. Lots of hiking biking trails and roads. Pretty remote - Verizon cell phone signal weak, but it worked. Local TV stations available and satellite in some sites between trees. No water or sewer but good dump station. - fulltime.petes
Jul 2017 - $25.00
Park is very nice, spacious sites with lots of shade. Cost is $20 + 5.00 Vehicle pass per day which totals 25@day. Showers and baths were clean, swim beach, fishing, walk and bike paths, playgrounds and V/ball areas. Cities of Canton and Sioux Falls are within 30 minutes. - Jay Miller
May 2014 - $15.00
This city park has is a great place to spend a night or a few days. The area is very well maintained with lots of grass, clean fire pits, etc. Sites are adequate, but not overly large. There is a tree on every site. We will definitely camp here again if we're in the area. - Bobbi1948
Sep 2004 - $10.00
Sites are right next to one another. Park is made for RVs with no slides. Can get in, but might be within 4 inches of your neighbor with slides out. Only 4 sites are 50 AMP the rest are 30 AMP. Most are grass sites a few concrete pads. All sites are back ins. The neighborhood is quiet. - Tallboy

We stay at this campground every few months while visiting family in the area. We've stayed both summer and winter (on our way to warmer climate) and always find a good, level pull through site. It is self-pay. There are large shade trees so you have to maneuver to get satellite service. The park is well maintained with playground and disc golf. Restrooms are clean when open but closed in winter. The railroad passes close by, though we aren't bothered in a motorhome. Most sites have a picnic table and fire pit. It's a nice place to stay overnight or longer. - prius10
Sep 2011 - $15.00
Very nice clean campground. Restrooms/showers were extremely clean with GREAT water pressure in the showers. The only draw back is that it is right next to railroad tracks: a train goes through about every hour. However, we were using a fold down camper: perhaps with a travel trailer or motorhome you would not notice the noise. If you stop here and do not feel like cooking, be sure to try the roasted chicken at the Dandy Dairy. YUMMY! - Rhonda Koppenhaver
Aug 2010 - $15.00
Nice city park camping. Restrooms with showers are available. There are pull-through and backin sites. Most sites have shade. Park has picnic shelters, trails and a playground. It's well-maintained, clean and neat. Trains do run along the front of park: get a site toward the back if you want a more quiet site. Good for an overnight. Close to town and all services. Has water and electricity at each site and a dump station. - mvano
Sep 2018 - $20.00
14 pull through gravel surface facing the driving range. Lower numbered sites less likely to encounter wayward golf balls. Parking in the casino parking lot boondocking is free. FHU sites are $20 weekdays, $40 weekends. All casino amenities are available to campers, just ask for pool pass at front desk. Casino is only moderately smokey, buffet was a fair value. Shopping is in nearby Sioux Falls, SD and is an easy drive. VERY quiet at night, plenty of dog-walking space. Best kept secret? Their lovely spa has day passes available for $15..... take your facial mask, hair treatment, lounge in the pool and spa tubs, take advantage of the sauna and steam room, then a long, hot shower. Lunch can be served by the pool. - DebbieT in Alabama
Sep 2018 - $20.00
The RV is behind casino and is walking distance if you are in good health. If on a walker, it would be questionable. No shuttle. Asked if they could use golf cart to pick up hubby - no. I made the mistake of asking for the spot closest to casino which is also closest to the 3 rumble strips they have on the road - Strike 1. We also went in the closest door which had a sign that said "SMILE AND HAVE FUN". Walk into a guard that says go back outside and walk AROUND THE BUILDING - you are in the employee entrance - Strike 2. The electrical box is locked. So to get electricity at the RV park you must pick up the key at hotel register. You are handed a very small key, no keychain and charged $20 which will be refunded upon return of key. Well guess who left without returning the small key? - Pdcsjc

This is an excellent option if staying in the Sioux Falls, SD area. There are 14 open air sites overlooking the golf course and the beautiful casino/resort. You have full use of the indoor and outdoor resort style pool with music and food service. There are no trees and it can get quite windy, but we loved this choice because there are also no mosquitos, a beautiful view and plenty of things to do with the casino, buffet, restaurants, pool, spa and shops right there. The price can't be beat! Internet is hard to get at the sites, but is available free in the resort. - bradfeldt
