Very friendly RV campground. The owner was very helpful and a great guy. We had a level pull-through site with 50 amp service, water and sewer hookups. There is a pool at the campground that was closed as our stay was in October. Bathroom and shower facility are available. This is a well maintained campground that I strongly recommend. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Motorhome.

On site #29. Good wifi and level. Manager walked me to my site. Electric and water are towards the front of the site. No shade at this spot, some sites have trees. I would return. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice place. I landed here before I went to HWH to get kick down levelers installed. Nice and shady. It is very easy to navigate and park. Nice pool. I'll stay here again driving across I-80. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Motorhome.

The campground was terrific! We have stayed here many times and the surroundings are always neat and clean. The registration process is easy with a friendly and competent employee. The hookups worked flawlessly and there are numerous over the air TV stations available. A word of warning about the gas station in front of the campground, which is not related to the campground. The pumps are the slowest we have ever encountered and the refueling process, including waiting for access to the pumps, took an hour. Try to obtain fuel before arriving at the campground. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Motorhome.

Former KOA off I-80. Excellent service from the CG owner. Our site was well maintained and shaded. Wifi was very good, Pool was comfortable temp. and clean. There isn't much in the nearby area if you need to restock or get dinner. Plan to travel 14mi west to Iowa City if you are interested in anything beyond gas station supplies. For an overnight stop, the CG itself is a great choice among some poor reviewed stops nearby. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We were staying here for an appointment at the HWH factory to repair our leveling system. This is obviously a former KOA based on the office building and signage. The sites are in need of new gravel. The interior roads were scraped while we were there to repair heavy rain damage. The utilities were all good and the wi-fi very good. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend for a stay for HWH service. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Motorhome.

We were traveling across Iowa to Omaha and needed an overnight stop. Called and talked to the owner and he held our reservation with a phone number. When we arrived, the owner was in the office and was very helpful. All sites are gravel and grass with fire rings. It had rained most of the week before we arrived that there was a fair amount of soggy grass and mud. We were camped near the office which was lower than the other sites, so it was a bit soggier. (We've been in worse!) The sites are roomy and all pull through. Shower areas are clean. We did not use the laundry, so can't comment on that. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Great stop for 7 am HWH appointment as it is an easy ten minute drive east on I 80. Easy access and several long pull through sites for big rigs. Talked to the owner on the phone, never saw him, easy self check in. Safe, clean, friendly, lots of dog walking areas, and quiet. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Motorhome.

Like others, we stayed here to make an early A.M. appointment at HWH. On arrival, we were met by the very friendly owner, who suggested the best site for shade and easy egress. Our site was level gravel, well shaded, and long enough to leave our tow attached. There was some noise from the adjacent truck stop but overall the park was quiet at night. Just a couple of OTA TV channels, no cable, but some sites had a view to the satellite. Good WiFi until evening when everyone got on line. Verizon cell/data was strong. Overall a pleasant and the best place to stay for an early HWH appointment. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one night and had an early AM appointment at HWH (10 min. drive to the east) for a hydraulics system check. The campground is a former KOA. Our site was level and there are numerous tall trees in the campground. There is a section of mobile homes on the south side of the grounds. The pool was pleasant and well-maintained. Office is pleasant and staff was friendly and attentive. We would stay here again if traveling that area of Interstate 80 in eastern Iowa. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Motorhome.

I was met at the office by a very friendly man. I told him I had called ahead and he had a site assigned. I was led to a fairly level site across from the pool. There are many full time (seasonal?) RVs in camp. Roads were easy to negotiate and graveled. Sites are close but well laid out. We only spent one night while traveling but I would definitely stay again. I found cheap diesel at the small truck stop next door. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Looks like an old KOA just off KOA Rd. Enter through the truck stop or the mobile home park the next drive down. Easy on off for I-80.

We stayed here overnight to visit the HWH plant in Moscow for service the next day. This park is approx 7 miles from the HWH plant. Good signage to the park but entry is next to the truck lanes of a gas station. Easy entry but a bit unusual so be aware. The owner was very friendly and professional. We saw him working the grounds and picking up litter several times. Our site was easy to enter, level, and plenty long. Interior roads were gravel, well maintained, and easy to navigate. The grounds were neatly trimmed with great grass. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when in the area. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Motorhome.

Once off the interstate, the directional signs are confusing. You can actually get there either through the abandoned gas station or via a mobile home park. We called earlier on the day of our arrival and got voice mail. The message said to contact the host in site 6 for assistance. We left a message but no one returned the call. When we arrived, the office was closed and no one was home at site 6. There was no map indicating available sites. There was, however, a notice on the door regarding water quality - apparently some issues with copper/iron. We didn't use the water. There were only a couple sites we could fit in so we just picked one. About an hour and a half later there was a knock on the door, and we were told we had to move as this site was assigned to someone else. What??? We were only there one night, and yes, they made us move. Bad, bad customer service. The least they could have done was to offer a discount or free night due to their negligence. Ugh. This is not an attractive campground. The sites used to be gravel but are mostly overrun by grass now. They are lumpy and unlevel. The sites are very close together with some at very weird angles. It appears to be mostly long term or seasonal. The WII FI worked well but would drop you after a short period. Not sure about satellite as we didn't try but there is maybe a 50/50 chance due to trees. The campground is near the highway behind a motel but you can hear traffic. Verizon was 4g 3 bars. Electric worked fine even though the connections looked questionable. We would not stay here again. We camped at Little Bear Campground in a Motorhome.
