Stayed one night, while passing through. Site was beyond small, two tiered sloping site with RV and tow vehicle on upper level and all utilities (Full Hook Up) on adjacent lot. Two truck tires surrounded water pipe. Property needs sound barriers. NOTHING masks the sound of trucks, ambulances, or busses barreling down the highway. Don't count on any WIFI. Don't waste your time trying to hook up. The office/store are was a disaster. Nothing for sale. Empty shelves. The only pleasant thing about the place was the woman who checked us in. - Cammy Per

As noted, an older park that needs some upgrades. We specifically told them we needed satellite, but didn't have any chance of getting a signal. No cable, but antenna picked up a good number of the free channels like Metv, AntennaTv and local networks. Laundry small but clean. Several machines out of order. Our site had a pond in the street next to us due to heavy rain. Lots of mud. A nice park across the road to walk the dog, and a RV center next door which is convenient for parts or supplies. - fulltimerjan

This is a old campground that we have been to over the past 27 year. It is heavily used. It is in need of a good up grade through out the park. Most sites are in need of a lot of gravel. Our site was muddy from rain last night. Their full time residents have the same problem with mud and water in the holes in the lanes around their area. - Joceil

We stayed at Suncatcher in May of 2019. Reservations were made over email and the owner was responsive. We stayed in site #13. The park is two sides of a small lake. The east side is older and the west side appears that the sites were created in the past few years. The advantage to the east side is that many of the sites are right on the water. Electric (50amp for us - but had a post with 50/30/20) worked fine. Water and sewer were good with good pressure on the water. Many of the sites (I'd guess 80%ish) appeared to be seasonal or long term. Our neighbors (long term) were very friendly. Good fishing on the small lake. Easy access to shopping (about 25 minutes from the racetrack and shopping area near Nebraska Furniture Mart). We were not sure what to expect - but would stay again as it's close to home and easy. - ScottM

Roads are gravel, quit rough and dusty. Pads are short with our front jack in loose gravel which continued to sink causing me to re level several during our stay. Lots of permanent trailers but everyone was very friendly even offering to loan us their kayaks to use in the nice lake on the property. - Ruffin It

Manager lives nearby & is very pleasant to deal with. Picturesque park, very peaceful. WiFi is no longer available but my hotspot worked well. I stayed for 11 nights in order to visit with my daughter & her family. Only a couple of pull-thrus are available. Easy to navigate the gravel road. Sites are quite level. Bathhouse & laundry are the only amenities. No designated pet area, but plenty of room on the periphery of the park to walk pets. Playground for children. Clean & well kept park. Picnic tables at most sites. - Irene J

Really nice, clean park. Every site has a view. Sites were small but level. Campground was very full so had to take a spot without sewer hook up. Loved the trail and walked it every day. Staff was very helpful. Laundry reasonable - only $1.50 a load. Close to Kansas City. - Hartleyfam

Always accommodating .... very nice people working the park. As others have stated, call ahead, they are usually full. But they will accommodate if possible. - Travelin Jenkins

We stayed here one night. We like this location as it is very handy off I-49 and close to the south Kansas City area. We have been here several times. however it appears that the park is mostly filled with full-time residents with very few sites available for travelers. Our site was not level for a large coach. The upkeep of the property needs work for it to continue to get decent reviews. - gbburgess
