3 RV Parks near Hill City, Kansas
Jul 2016 - $15.00
Great place for an overnight stay. The restrooms were open, which was a good thing since we were under a severe thunderstorm warning and took shelter there! We would stay again if we are passing through. - junmy3

Sites are scattered in an unlevel grassy field near a rodeo arena. There are multiple 50 amp plug-ins on poles here and there, and some have water connections. There is also a dump station. The county website indicates that there are rest rooms with showers but the two we found were both padlocked. Payment is on the honor system using a slot in the side of the ticket booth at the rodeo arena. This is a nice quiet place for an overnight stop. - PodPeople
Apr 2015 - $10.00
Quiet and spacious as no one else was there. There are about 10 50 amp and numerous 30 amp and smaller scattered all around the fairgrounds on utility poles. There are water spigots spread throughout. Dump is located on the north end of the fairgrounds behind the 4-H building. Look for signs. Payment is on the honor system and there is a slot on the west side of the ticket building. If in area, will stay again if nothing is going on at the fairgrounds. - ob's place

Convenient to I-70. Easy off/on. Not really any road noise. Very easy pull through level sites. Full hookups; power, water & sewer. Cable TV with 20 channels. Swimming pool, dog walk area. Very clean. - Eric921
Jul 2019 - $37.00
This campground is very conveniently located right off Rt 70 a good travel distance from the Denver area. The park was clean and well maintained, although some of the grounds near the pool area were under renovation while we were there. Sites were gravel with grassy areas, mostly open but level and in good shape. Even though the highway very close, there was very little traffic noise. The remaining area around the campground was beautiful farmland and pleasant to be in. - EVO_Bob

I love KOAs but I never thought I would give one a 9. This was quite a surprise. Great looking property, great dog park, excellent adjoining grassy area for dogs, etc. Sharp, young staff, great signage and hospitality with ice cream social and pancake breakfast. Internet was amazing, even with full park in the evening. Cable TV was fantastic. Apparently this is a well known stop on I-70, as we were followed in by a King Aire, a Newell, and a Prevost. Sites fairly spacious for a KOA. - Phaeton_Driver
