2 RV Parks near Medicine Lodge, Kansas
Sep 2012 - $10.00
After reading the existing review, we decided to stop here for a one night stay. This is without a doubt the worst park in the State of Kansas. We drove into it and the unkept units with the loose dogs made our decision to drive on to another park very easy. We didnot stay nor will we ever return. - Arizona Traveler
Jul 2011 - $18.00
Pleasant stay at this park. Not a resort by any means but the owner was friendly and very helpful. I will note that there are no washer/dryers. A very good place if you are stopping for the night, back-ins only no pull-throughs. As for us we travel for work it was an excellent place to stay long term for the monthly price. Also there is a pool and park area (not a part of the RV park) for children right across the street. - mnchope

We want to love this little park. It sits next to a beautiful little lake, it is clean, sites are level, water and electric work fine. Our Verizon cell service was touchy. We have stayed here two different times on our way west. Here is the problem. Both times we stayed here, the traffic was virtually non-stop through the park. Lots of booming low riders, even an unmarked panel truck at 10:30 at night during an ice storm. We did not witness any drive-throughs by local law enforcement, but I would suggest they do that. We did not feel safe here and will not stay here again. - HuskerMama

Pratt County Veterans Memorial Lake is two miles east of Pratt, Kansas. Nice park for overnight or two with 30 RV sites with 50/30/20A & water for $15/night. No attendant on duty. Honor system pay station. We were there in December and the water was turned off. Thankfully, we had adequate water in the fresh holding tank. Walmart is 2 miles away. We were in site 1. Only two other RV's in the park while we were there. - drfife

Very nice pretty place on a small lake; not too far off Hwy 54. Really liked the long, level pull-thru sites; only a couple of others here when we stopped for one night; water was off due to temps but they have frost-free faucets so not sure why. Honor system for paying. We did notice there is a sign on the road after the last turn to get to campground that it says road is limited to 24,000 weight and there was a small bridge so we continued; maybe that limit is farther around the lake because our GPS didn't stop us. Would stay here again. - dirtfan1946
