I have been camping for over 30 years and this is the worst RV Campground I have ever stayed. The bathrooms and showers were unavailable and we were told to use our own, rudely when asking the owner/manager. The discount coupon to use at the bar/dinner in the RV Park is nothing more than a carrot to have you go in this dirty and very poor food establishment. We ordered a pizza and to our surprise it was a cheap frozen one when served. When I told the waitress we refused to eat or pay for this high priced frozen pizza she called the owner. He arrived a very large and intimidating man and he said we could not leave unless we paid for the pizza. I told him the intimidation tactics do not work well with a retired Marine and told him my next call would be to the police. Then we left the establishment and tried to check out of the RV Park in which we had been in for less that three hours. The owner said he would be glad to see us go, but would not refund the money. Best way to describe our stay is a NIGHTMARE, stay away at all costs. Colonel Retired USMC - Zipper

This is a convenient park right off I-70 yet is far enough away that you don't hear the interstate. It is a great spot for an overnight stay. On Wednesday thru Sunday "Captain Jack's" is open on grounds and serves one of the best Ribeye steaks I have ever eaten. - 5rhauler

The only good about this park is that it's easy to find. Interior roads are full of pot holes. Electric popped off twice in first spot we chose so we moved to another. Grass was not mowed and no shade. Most residents are permanent and not real friendly. Just used as overnight stop. Would not stay here again unless other campground is full. - cuse44

Nice level sites and laid-out nicely too. The dog could not walk on the grass without getting burrs not even a little. They would stick into my fingers when I pulled them off his pads. Otherwise we liked the place. - piclif

Cap'n Jacks is awesome. Level sites -utilities worked. Came in at 6p and info available at office. Rarely use campground bathrooms BUT it was going to freeze that night and we don't have a heated hose so had to quickly fill water tank so we could shower. Have never been excluded from a campground bathroom - not reflected in price either. If you have pups, don't go here. Very spiky painful thorns everywhere. They say lead your dog, don't let him lead you. Thorns even on road. But the worst thing is the threat of cameras WATCHING you! Really? I think you need to get another job/business. - WhoDat125

I cannot rate the restrooms or the showers as to their cleanliness since they would not give a code to them since we have a bathroom in our rig. They say it's because of vandalism. They have the capabilities of changing the code as often as they want - but it's easier to refuse their paying customers the use of their facilities. This is the only campground that we have visited with this policy. Do yourself a favor and keep going. - Yoginisaldeeni

The park is easily accessed from I-70. The office is only open from 1:30P to 5:30P daily so any issues need to be called in if outside of these hours. Park sites and roads are a mix of gravel and soil - fortunately it was dry during my stay. The site I was assigned to was set up to be used by two rigs for one utilities post. I don't know if this is a common setup but it posed to be a little inconvenient to set up and break down due to closeness of rigs. There was a large laundry room but washers/dryers need to be updated (took a hour and a half to dry clothes in two dryers). I would stay again but only for an overnight stay. - Chuck53
Jul 2019 - $35.00
Over priced and under delivered meaning 35 bucks for one night is about 10 too much. 95% occupied by permanent residents or constructions workers. We had a pull thru but could not pull all the way thru and had to park kinda skewed because of a tree sticking out. Pros: Good power, water, and sewer Cons: Lots of trash all over, had to share water with next site over, would have probably been dusty had it not rained, so it was muddy, mostly dirt and grass with a tiny bit of gravel at the site, lots of mud holes in and around the park roads, sites too close together, no picnic table, Interstate 70 road noise. Would only stay again if no other option was available. AT&T WiFi Hot Spot worked good, Sprint and Verizon did not. - Scuba Rock
Jun 2019 - $35.00
Stayed for 2 nights. Campground sites are very flat but close together. Long term travel trailers made up a lot of the residents. Parking is on grass. Plenty of room for big rigs. There were no picnic tables or fire rings. Sitting outside is very hard as the neighbor is right next to you. This is more of a field that has been converted into an RV Park. Reservations are needed. It is right next to I-70 (making easy access) and a Pilot Fuel Station is at the same exit. The camp has good WiFi and cell service. - carlsens

Called ahead and left a voice mail, but didn't hear back. Pulled in around 5 pm and grabbed an open spot - noticed another camper got a site shortly after we did. Quite a few spots taken - maybe by workers? Looked like a carnival was setting up in the fairgrounds. No one came to collect money. Stayed as a quick overnight on our way to I-80. This CG located close to I-70. Very windy day, so quite a bit of dust from the gravel. No shade. Level gravel site. Serious flag football game going on in the open field adjacent to the CG. It was fun to watch the families. The town's Public Works yard is nearby, so trucks going back and forth starting early in the morning, but overnight was quiet and peaceful. We stayed close to the entry - site 1 or 2. - jenshick
Aug 2017 - $20.00
We stayed here one night on our way home from Colorado. There were only 4 sites being used so it was quiet with lots of space. There was good outdoor lighting for security. - D-C Kennedy
Jul 2017 - $15.00
We stayed here for one night as we were headed north. The spaces were huge and easy to back in to. Host was right there and very friendly and helpful. Grass was nice, spot wide and pretty level. It just happened that a Bluegrass Festival was here and was a special treat. Very clean fairgrounds. Would recommend!! - Dee and deb
