This was our 2nd day on the road. . long day, didn't plan far enough ahead, called a couple RV parks and full! Did a search & came up with this RV Park. Called on the phone, talked to a lady that was owner I assumed - she was very nice & friendly; said there was room and she was out of town right now, but we could stay there. We found this by driving more North than we had planned, pulled in and "only ones staying there" other than a worker-bee that arrived later that evening a little after suppertime (I never saw him) just went into the other permanent RV parked there. As far as restrooms, showers there was no way to use them. Water was ok, NO Wifi & only a couple channels came in, sewer was way to the back not readily convenient. The location of this park is right along a highway & just past a Rest Stop ~ we would NOT stay again! It was far too noisy and all night we heard trucks pulling in & idling their engines for long periods of time next door. The only plus side to this, we had "electric & water" and a place to pull off the road for the night. Another plus ~ we saw countryside in Kansas we probably wouldn't have seen, and it was a gorgeous drive the next day. - Yamaman

As mentioned the park is a grass field which had been recently mowed. The hookups for the back in sites are at the very rear of the sites so long hoses, cords, etc may be required depending on the RV. The back in 30/50 amp sites are nice, wide and very long. There were only 2 picnic tables available for use at sites. US-50 is only a couple of hundred yards away so there is some traffic noise. We were the only ones in the park. There is no one on site, just a self check in. - trailertraveler

This is a nice little park, sites are level grass with trees around the perimeter. Good 30/50 amp power and great water pressure. They have a new commercial washer and dryer. Park is set up for self serve payment. We only saw a couple of other RVs here for the 2 nights we stayed. Owners are a nice couple. Verizon signal was strong. We will return. - rjsupersonic

We were the only RV in this parking lot/RV park on the night we stayed in Larned. It is really a level, gravel-surfaced truck park with 12 side-by-side, FHU RV parking spaces added down the center. It is located next door to, and managed by, the Rodeway Inn (hence the "Rode" in the name). No trees, no landscaping, no shade, no pool, no playground, no fence, and no other "RV park" amenities. However, RVers can use the nice, warm restroom inside the motel and there is free coffee and buffet breakfast in the morning. I doubt anyone would ever need a reservation there, but it was convenient for a cold, off-season, single-night stay on the way to other places. - fanrgs

This is the best campground in Great Bend, just a place to park while here when visiting family. Sites are level, power and water good. - User2314

This is absolutely a no frills CG/RV park. It's not listed in any CG directory but we found it by asking at a local service station. We were desperate for a CG late in the afternoon/evening and were tired. No showers but that's OK as we are self contained. Some long term residents but we had no problems. We were just glad to find a place to stop for the night. The rate quoted is for a 30amp site with water. - janchuckscw
Jun 2008 - $12.00
This is a small area, the sites are just off 10th and MacArthur on a dirt road. The pads are cement strips for the tires and are level. There is only 1 spot with 50 amp service. There are no restrooms, showers, Wi-Fi, or playground. There is water, sewer, electric, and cable. A couple of the sites have shade trees. There isn't much to choose from in Great Bend. This is good as a place to use as a home base. I was visiting relatives and it worked for me. - wds
Nov 2018 - $30.00
Stopped one night driving through. Check in was fine, and since it's a motel, they stay in the office until 10:00pm for late arrivals. RV park is in the back, and following the directions of the clerk,we found our site easily. The site we stayed in was very narrow and wouldn't be suitable for a unit with slide-intruck, but worked ok for us. The showers/bathroom was somewhat clean, but there were a few dead bugs under the bench. - Fitzjohnfan
Sep 2018 - $30.00
Sites are extremely narrow. We barely could open our door without hitting the next camper's slide. No circuit breaker on electric box. No cable as advertised. Excellent WiFi. Would not camp there again. - blau
Jun 2018 - $35.00
We weren't impressed on check in as the young man who checked us in wasn't very helpful or personable. The sites were pull through but not very long. We fit but barely. There was no shade and it is basically a gravel parking lot. It's ok for an overnight. I would probably check around for another campground if going through this general area, but again it's ok for just an overnight, but a bit on the expensive side for what you get. - JonesAussies
