A very well cared for campground. Large level pull thoughs all were easy to get in or out of. You are guided to your site. Plenty of room side to side or for and back. A BIG biscuit for the dog! Great connections. A train goes by pretty close. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed here while visiting Mammoth Cave area. Greeted by a very friendly gentleman. Had booked site on line which showed only 50 amp sites available. When I asked if sites had 30 amp service he said all sites had 50 & 30 amp. Said it was something to do with the web page and refunded me $3 per night. Was led to the site were he checked both the electric and water. Site was level enough that we did not have to use levelers. Restrooms and showers were very clean. Cable had a large selection of channels. The only thing missing was a playground for the granddaughter. Would stay there again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Arrived to a very warm reception, guided to campsite. She also checked the power pedestal to make sure the power was switched off before I plugged in. Campground is beautiful, very well maintained withs lots of nice shrubbery. Sites are fairly level with a good layer of gravel. Grass is healthy right up to the driveway therefore carpets are not allowed. Laundry was very clean with well maintained machines. We stayed for a week. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We used the campground as a base to visit Mamouth Cave. We had previously booked tours through the various passages in the cave system. Strongly recommend early bookings as all the tours were full. The tours lead by the Park rangers were excellent. Good shopping for any supplies can be found in Glasgow, about 25 minutes away.

This a wonderful park to use as a central base for area attractions. The gentleman who greeted us in the office was very friendly and escorted us to our site. The park is laid out very well, and beautifully landscaped. Pride of ownership is very evident. The utilities worked as they should and the wifi is awesome! There are stores and restaurants nearby. We highly recommend this park and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Definitely a place to stay for a few days as you tour Mammoth and Bowling Green. We even drive a little north to Louisville (a little over an hour away). The place is super clean (including the bathrooms), small lounge with a pool table and a few exercise bikes but it was perfect. Spots aren’t very shaded, but I imagine it will be once the trees mature. We did hear the trains in the distance but it definitely wasn’t an annoyance. Close to the highway and all the local caves. Closest major grocery store (Walmart) is just 12 min away in Glasgow, but there was an IGA around the corner. Couldn’t get the WiFi to work and they are working on putting a pool in as well. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We visited Mammoth Cave (book tickets early if you want more than a self-guided tour which is what we did and was still amazing), we also stopped by KY action park and toured their Outlaw Cave and let the kids do the alpine slide. The National Corvette Museum is about 20 min south in Bowling Green and definitely worth the trip for any car enthusiast.

Nice park, easy off interstate to get to park. Lady at office very nice, showed us to our site. Owner takes pride in the park with green grass, trees, flowers. All sites are pull thru most have picnic table. You do hear the trains pass by. Cracker Barrel, McDonald's within walking. Sites long for motor homes. Easy if going to see mammoth cave. Stayed in fifth wheel. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Clean campground, they are regularly maintaining it to say pristine. Beautiful flower garden our girls loved to visit. Very close to Mammoth Cave NP, and easy in/out to the highway if just staying overnight passing through. We would stay here again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice campground. The sites are level, the cable is good, there is a picnic table and the hook-ups were easy. The bathrooms are very clean and in the women's shower (I can't speak for the men's) there was a nice bench and 4, count them, 4 hooks. The landscaping is nice. Road noise and train noise are minimal. They are very particular about their grass. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are many choices for cave tours and you can make your choices online. There is a Cracker Barrel nearby but we drove up to Hodgenville to the Lincoln birthplace and ate at Brooks Cafe, a cool little mom and pop. Everyone will welcome you and come up to talk. Funny, one of the regulars paid our bill without our knowing. We paid it forward.

Beautiful small park near Mammoth Cave. Nicely laid out with some shade. Check-in staff very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is gravel roads and pads but they are fairly level. Good water and electric. KY Hwy 90 is very close but not too much road noise. CSX railroad tracks also close but did not notice any trains after 11PM. Good AT&T signal. Wifi signal strong but very slow speed. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

A very clean park that is beautifully landscaped with trees, flowers, and grass. No noise from the interstate but there is a train track and the train comes thru every hour or so. Several places within a mile or 2 to eat and about 20 minutes from Mammoth Caves. The park is big-rig friendly. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

If you are looking for a park with lots of amenities, things for kids to do and other extras, Cave Country may not be for you. But if you want a place to stay that is extremely convenient, with long very level lots, very clean grounds, a friendly staff and very reasonable rates, then come here. We stayed for two nights and visited Mammoth Cave. Our site was great, much better than places that cost more money. It has one of the largest dog parks and they picked up our trash each morning. This is not a place to stay for more than a couple of days as there is not much to do other than go to Mammoth Cave, but it was an excellent stop for us. We highly recommend Cave Country RV. Beautiful maintained grounds, good spacing between sites for a private RV park. Office staff is efficient, friendly, and helpful. We came here to visit Mammoth Cave for a couple of days, and ended up staying over a week to explore the area further. Nice fenced dog yard, lots of growing trees. Park wifi is adequate, but they need more bandwidth. Verizon signal is very weak, but usable with an external boosted antenna. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.
