Beautiful maintained grounds, good spacing between sites for a private RV park. Office staff is efficient, friendly, and helpful. We came here to visit Mammoth Cave for a couple of days, and ended up staying over a week to explore the area further. Nice fenced dog yard, lots of growing trees. Park wifi is adequate, but they need more bandwidth. Verizon signal is very weak, but usable with an external boosted antenna. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Our 8th overnite stay in 4 yrs. Gravel pads are dead level. WiFi is best we've experienced in a RV Park. Cable tv is excellent. Staff extremely courteous, low key. Grass area between pads has real, green grass, not just weeds & gravel. Fire pits recently installed. Trees are starting to mature, offer some shade. A pool would be nice, but this is not a park designed for kids playground. It's adults, nice RV's, home base to tour the area. Every time we visit, we notice improvements (some small, some larger) the owners have made. We will be back! We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Restaurants, gas stations, any shopping are (my opinion/age) beyond walking/cycling distance. You'll need a car to get there.

A very nice, clean campground. Cable good, bathrooms excellent, laundry small with 2 washers and 2 dryers. Good value. Close to Mammoth Caves. Corvette museum in Bowling Green. The problem is that there is nothing in Cave City. not even a good grocery store. Had to go to Bowling Green and Glasgow for brew pubs. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Clean, well planted park with trees, flowers blooming, and grass around each site. Far enough away from the interstate that no traffic noise. There is a train nearby but it was infrequent and didn't keep us up. The front office will assist if you find yourself without anything to do. The park is nicely laid out so easy to navigate even for a longer rig. Super convenient to Mammoth Caves. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Definitely visit the corvette museum in nearby Bowling Green - and this RV park is very convenient to the Mammoth Caves. Great little (and very busy) Mexican restaurant (El Mazatlan) in the town of Cave City.

We stayed here on a drive from Atlanta to Chicago. This was our first stop. We stopped here on our way back also a week later. The check in clerk was very nice. The directions to our pull through site were very clear and it was a very good site for our overnight stay. All the utilities worked. There was a train that we heard but that was because we like our windows open at night. On our return trip through we realized upon checking out that they provide onsite propane. This is awesome since trying to get our propane tank refilled at home is a PITA. Again, the staff was awesome. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The park has all pull-through spots. The roads and spots are gravel with grass between the adequately spaced . Each spot has a fire ring made from paving stones as well as a picnic table. Maneuvering in the park was not an issue with our 40' motorhome. The people at the desk when calling for information and checking in were friendly and helpful. There is a railroad track near the back of the park. It's close enough that it may be disruptive to a light sleeper but it didn't bother us. This is a great location for exploring the area. Our rate is based on a weekly stay. We will certainly stay again if in the area. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Mammoth Cave National Park 10 minutes down the road. If you plan on going, be sure to call ahead for reservations. We didn't, and we didn't get to take a tour, had to settle for a self guided tour (it was spring break). The National Park campground is right at the caves. Took a drive thru, no hookups, and not many very level sites, but it is close!! Cracker Barrel restaurant right around the corner from campground. Did some grocery shopping at the local IGA, not a bad little store.

Not a resort, but everything you would need. Big gravel sites! All the utilities worked great, even the WiFi slowly worked well. The folks keep the place spotless. They pick up your trash every morning. Clean large fenced dog park. Long trains go by, but didn't blow their horns. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Spartan but neat. Value is definitely the proximity to Manmouth Caverns National Park. We used the laundromat. Only one dryer was working. A Walmart was about 6 miles away and the closest place for groceries. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Reasonably quiet despite closeness to interstate highway. Occasional train nearby was audible but not objectionable. Our site was very unlevel from side to side. Park picks up trash at your site mid-morning. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Great little park operated by folks who care about customer service. Little bit tricky to find the road which dead ends into the park. Well maintained with full hook ups and reasonably spacious sites. Great value at about $40 a night. Several restaurants nearby and easy access to the caves in the area. What a sweet little camp ground. The landscaping was just beautiful. There is a butterfly garden with a quant metal butterfly chair. Very quiet. Sites were level. Close to so many places to visit. I would definitely stay here longer next time. There was a large dog park. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We asked the office for a pizza reference and they suggested Turtlelini's (yes, their logo is a turtle) in Horse Cave just a few minutes away. It was superb. If we had known, we wouldn't have gotten the pizza to go as they had a great buffet.

Overall Rating:

This park is geared towards use as home-base for touring the area, not a kiddie-park in itself (no pool or playground), not a Resort park. It is well priced, well managed, and offers level gravel pull thru sites with full hookups. Trees are young yet, not a lot of shade offering, but: generous room between sites, no problems with slides or awnings. Meticulously maintained, spotless restrooms. Excellent cable with lots of channel choice; WiFi is far better than most parks. If the noise from a railroad or interstate bothers you, close your windows and turn on your a/c, you won't notice it. This is our 4th stay in 35' Class A with toad. We look forward to our 5th stay. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Close to Mammoth NP. Close to the hwy and train tracks but the noise wasn't too bothersome. Check in was easy and you get escorted to your site. Sites are long pull thrus that have the utilities placed so that they can be reached and still leave your tow attached. Very well maintained grounds. There were a few children here during our stay but there isn't much for them to do here i.e. no play equipment or pool. There is another park nearby that would be more suited for families with young children. If ever in the area we'd stay here again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.
