We have stayed here numerous times and have always enjoyed it. The people that run the park are
great and when we come to town we will always stay here. - Pauldodge1

.Great place for overnite, park staff very helpful. My site was not level. - Cdr Bob

As others have mentioned, a decent enough spot for a quick overnight stay, but that's all. Convenient to the highway and a fuel stop. It looked like most of the spots were filled with long term residents. Roads and sites were gravel and sites were extremely close together. One of our slides overhung the neighbor's picnic table. Neighbor found a large spike in his spot. - Jerry and Betsy

Not sure what was going in Bowling Green, but there was so much noise from the motorcyclists in the park. Even though their brochure states no loud noise, it was awful. Maybe if we had come on another day it might have been better. - Clint's Travels

This is an older park that is located next to I-65. It was my 2nd time to stay here. I agree with some of the maintenance concerns noted by other reviewers - the patio at my site had mud and gravel all over it. The cable TV service was DOA due to another camper who had driven off with his cable still attached (the maintenance man was in the process of digging the cable up with a backhoe as we were leaving to work on it). However, you can get several OTA channels. Wifi was good. There are LOTS of services (restaurants, shopping, and fuel stations) nearby, which is nice. The staff were very nice and allowed me to stay past the checkout time since I had a local appointment w/o charging me extra. Thanks, guys! - farmboy25

If you care about your rv then you won't stay here. They are so bad about trimming trees that my coach has scratches down the side of it now. Fire pit had grass growing out of it. BBQ still full of charcoal and ashes. WiFi was terrible so don't plan on doing any business while you are there. Sewer connection was broken and required a brick to hold it in place. Laziness or cheapness about trimming trees and cleaning. Was told by one worker that the maintenance/tree trimmer quit. Clearly obvious. Location wasn't bad. Wasn't loud. If you don't like dogs then I wouldn't walk into the office where some obnoxious white dog ran around barking. - RodeoClown

Older CG that could use some maintenance. Attached to an amusement park and race track of some sort. Our electric had one standard outlet and one female extension cord end to supply 2 sites. Pull thru sites separated by about an 8' strip of grass. Not a place I would choose to spend several days but OK for any port in a storm. Wi-fi on $5/day paid basis. - ebaldy

Electrical in sites is VERY poor. Day time volts were 100 to 108, night was 110 to 118. Right away my AC tripped due to low volts and I had to run on my generator. (this is a known issue). We only spent Monday and Tuesday there then camped the rest of the week at the ATTACHED drag strip. I was told it would cost $10, after she checked the price, to dump waste water Sunday after the event. When I showed up to dump on Sunday I was told since it wasn't an event of Dallas's it was $30. Sundays attendant informed me the person who checked and said $10 on Monday was wrong. It cost $35 to say during the week but $30 to dump? Two years ago they let us dump free after since they are connected. At least 90% of the 500+ campers that week showed up for the drag strip but they say the event wasn't connected to the campground. I will be looking for alternate lodging next Hot Rod Reunion. - Greg Iowa
Jun 2017 - $30.00
Checked in and were told to park anywhere. Map was of no help. No visible site numbers. Sites had to share water hookup. Electric service was not useable. Voltage was low never above 90 volts. Had to run our own generator to run air conditioner. Don't waste your money here. Expensive boondocking!!! - Rkserv

This park has uneven sites. So much so that, even with the use of the on-board RV leveling Jacks, we couldn't extend our bump outs.
This park is very unclean. The bathrooms (showers/commodes) are filthy and in need of maintenance, cleaning and updating.
The laundry facilities are the same. The machines are rusty (inside and out). I was afraid to use them over concern that the rust would bleed onto my clothes during the wash cycle. I had to take our camping laundry to an off-site laundromat.
Beyond the uncleanliness of the amenities, the grounds too are unkempt. The front sites (visible front he road) are mowed and weedeated. The back sites are not.
The camp directs you to walk your pets in a "designated area," that is all well and good if they would actually direct you to where that "designated area" is, which they did not. Everyone here seems to have a different opinion about where that is. The most common place seems to be by a large trash heap in the middle of the park. I walked my dog near that spot in the day, but was hesitant to at night. The pile of wood debris in the middle of your campground is dangerous. There are used boards with very large nails sticking up...just waiting for a child to fall or step on them and need an ER visit for tetanus shot and stitches. ed boards with very large nails sticking up...just waiting for a child/pet/anyone to fall or step on them and need an ER visit for tetanus shot and stitches.
We had an overnight stay on Saturday night. This was BYOB and Karaoke night on the office porch (not far from our camper). The more the crowd drank, the louder and more off pitch the Karaoke singers became. They started at 5 PM and continued until 10:00 PM. We had planned phone calls to family back home and a movie in our camper. The karaoke began and remained so loud, even inside our own RV, we were unable to keep our plans. - George Hall III

I stayed there in 2006 for at least a year and loved it. Met some great friends. I would go back. Dirt sites are very close and open to sun. Picnic table. - s12552001
Nov 2009 - $17.00
I stopped here looking for one nights rest. The staff was very polite and helpful. The campground is catering to mostly permanent setups and the newest RV in was at least 20 years old. I did not see any open sites except for the small one they put me on. It would be too small for anything over my 21 footer. I did my laundry here and while the machines have been well used. Some had rust and some were out of order. My clothes came out clean and dry. Everything remotely movable was chained and padlocked. If you want cheap camping and not a large rig it would be OK, but if rough looks aren't your style I would keep looking elsewhere. - Goinmobile
