Nice, large campground with pool, playground, lake, pavilion, basketball court, 2 small laundry/bathhouses. Pretty good WiFi, good amount of space between most sites which have plastic table and fire ring. ice and limited supplies in office. Escort to sites which were fairly level gravel. Provided jack pads if needed. Cons : NO cable, dusty interior roads, limited number of bath houses for the number of sites, some road noise from interstate and train whistles. Have to sign paper that you will not put rugs or vehicles on grass - had read other reviews about this, but basically they want you to respect their property. We were in site 21 backed to deep ravine . There were some trees behind the site which were nice. Most of the park is clear of trees. Those that back to lake have a nice view. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Tips: Creation Museum is about 1 hour north and Ark Encounter about 30 minutes north, both are well worth the visit - plan at least one full day at each. Toyota Factory is interesting, the Kentucky Horse Park is well worth a visit (another full day tour). Many distilleries in the area. Lexington has some interesting history around the area, but that will have to wait for another trip. There is shopping and restaurants convenient to the RV Park including a small Camping World store.

Sites were level and very nice swimming pool, swings. Good WiFi. The only complaint we had was the dust. If they could pave the main roads or put down something to control the dust they would get a higher rating. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Located near Georgetown and convenient Rv park to I-75, to visit Toyota Plant(5 miles) and Ark(25 miles). Roads and pads are dusty gravel. Most sites are relatively close to each other, level and have some grass, all have a plastic picnic table. Most sites are backins but they have a few pull throughs and premium sites(concrete patio and two chairs). There are no trees. There is a lake, pool, playground and pavilion. Wifi is OK. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed for one night on our way north. Made our reservation online which was very easy. The road leading to the campground is narrow but not heavily traveled so we did not encounter any problem. Large open campground with gravel roads and sites. Easy check in and friendly staff. Escorted to our pull thru site which was level and did not require unhooking. Sites are close together but enough room for slides and awnings. Nice pool and clean restrooms and showers. Good place to stop for a night or two. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Felt this was not much more than a lot of gravel in a field. Very dusty, no shade to speak of. Folks who checked us in were not that friendly. Only campground I've ever been to where I have to go in and pay for ice, and then they have to go unlock it so I can get my bag. Lots of long term folks staying here and some of the campers were in pretty poor shape, sad looking. Also noticed many workers camped many to a trailer. Just didn't get that friendly family atmosphere at this place. Would not go back again. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were escorted to our site and guided in. The site was not very level, but not so much that it didn't auto level. We needed to use our jack pads to prevent jacks from sinking in some soft gravel. There is no shade to speak of and we were stacked in pretty tight but still ample room to put out slides. One thing that did bother me is that they specifically told us to not park on the grass. Now that is fine if they provide enough space to park by the coach, but parking space is very limited. We also would have liked a dog park. There were MANY dogs and they all wanted to play. That is hard to do when on a leash. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and friendly (Clyde helped us get backed into our space when we arrived). The park is very clean and has good amenities. The pool was very nice with a small water slide the kids enjoyed. Some things closed a little early for our taste (8:00pm) but that’s personal preference. Water pressure was good, nice sewer hookup location, and WiFi was decent. Some spots looked a little tight but ours was spacious. The park was busy but quiet. They had snow cones on Sunday night and a movie on Friday night with popcorn. Met the owner and he seemed focused on providing a quality experience for his campers. No trees to speak of for shade but overall we really enjoyed our stay. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We enjoyed our four days here. They escort you to sites. A great staff who are friendly and helpful. Pull thru site with FHU. Nice pool and large shower rooms. Separate rooms with sink, toilet, and shower. Also three washers and three dryers in same building. The free WiFi was amazingly good, super fast and never slowed or went off. I was very disappointed with this park after reading most of the reviews I really thought this was going to be a great park. It is really a gravel parking lot. Very tight spaces to get in and out of. Had to get neighbors to move vehicles so that we could get in and out with our fifth wheel. Lot was not level, had to build up one side to get level. WiFi was horrible. Dirt and gravel roads made for a lot of dust as folks whizzed by in their cars and golf carts. But, for what we wanted to see and do in the local area, this Park was the perfect location. Close to Lexington, the Ark Encounter and Cincinnati. Staff was friendly enough. Easy access to the Interstate. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our first visit to Whispering Hills but it will not be our last if we are in the area again. Very nice campground that offers a lot of amenities. Our site was on gravel and was level and spacious. It had rained a lot before we arrived so there was some standing water but it quickly dissipated and did not present a problem to us. Our site had full hook-ups but no cable. Wifi signal was adequate and stable. I was very pleased with everything the both times we stayed at Whispering Hills. We camped in a 40 ft. motorhome with tow vehicle. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an easy RV Park to get to. Coming off I-75 follow your GPS or the Blue and White Campground Signs. Rodgers Gap Road is narrow, just take your time. The entrance into the park is well marked, paved and wide. Customer service is excellent. Everyone was very helpful and polite. After check in you are escorted to your site. The roads in the park are hard packed gravel, some small potholes, easy to navigate. There are no overhanging trees. The park appears to be well taken care of. There is no trash lying around. All pets were observed on a leash. There appear to be many full-time residents (owner said about 40%) here with most sites well taken care of. Sites are a mixed bag in terms of being level and convenience of utilities. Our site though a pull through had a bad slope to the right but I was able to get level. Really and truly, if they had just put as much effort in making their campsites level as they did with everything else in this park, it would be a 5-star resort. If you want a level spot with convenient utilities go for either a premium spot or try for a pull through in the range of 142 to 164. Utilities were convenient to the wet bay. Site separation was good. You must use a water pressure regulator! There was no shade but I had room to put out all my awnings. Excellent Verizon signal. Excellent DISH signal. We would stay here again. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.
