Nice clean large lots. Our lot was very near the lake and we had a good view. Walking trails were convenient and clean. - locatjl

This campground offers a full range of campsite choices. The front area consists of pull-through and back in sites, is newer and has full hook=ups and clean, level concrete pads and patio areas. The area has a few trees but is mostly open and sunny. Remainder of the sites are gravel and grass and appear to be mostly spacious and level, some with with views of the water. Most, if not all, have electric only and plenty shade. A single dump station is at the entrance gate. There are great walking / biking trails throughout the park and campsite areas. Overall, a quiet, lovely setting, considering it is within a congested area. Upon arrival, we were in site 14F, a very nice concrete back-in site. We developed a mechanical problem which required us to have to extend our stay for a few days. Although the park was full, the staff worked to find a suitable electric only site (#3). Initial nightly rate was $70 for site 14F, but the fee dropped to $35 when we moved to site #3. Ohio residents, which we are not, get a huge discount. - Revvie

We generally shy away from municipal campgrounds (too tight, inadequate hookups) but this place is a gem. It is part of a very large county park with lots to do and costs $5 a day to come in and out with your car (or $14 for the season). But the campground is excellent, wide, concrete sites, lots of green in between, and full hookups. WIFI is strong, and good satellite reception in our pull through section. Easy to find, well off noisy highways, friendly staff. And close to downtown Cincinnati and all the attractions. We will come back. - alanez

Had an ice storm during which big oak limbs fell on my camper and truck. When I questioned about a tree service as big limbs were still hanging overhead I was told no tree service and every other word was F word. Was very dangerous with limbs overhead. 1/3 of public road into park was washed out also. Initial check-in was cordial enough and site was easy to pull into. - Srosscpa

Out of all the campsites that we have stayed at, we have never been treated with such hospitable, caring and generous treatment as we received from the owners and their family. When Enterprise did not deliver the rental car we had ordered, we were going to be forced to unhook everything from our Class A motor home to use it, and then rehook it when we came back. It is a big inconvenience to keep doing this. Instead, the owner volunteered not once, but three times to take us into town so we would not have to go through this. All of the members of this wonderful family bent over backwards to make our stay as pleasant and enjoyable as they could. I would never, ever consider staying at another campsite when going to Williamstown to see Noah's Ark. If you need to know the true meaning of Southern Hospitality, this family is it! We are forever grateful to them for all that they did. Other park owners should stay there and learn how to treat their guests. - The 5 Amigos

Stayed here in a class C with tow vehicle for two nights. Many long term campers. Only 6 pull thru overnight spots. Spots close together. Full service. Check in personnel pleasant. Long term campers visually very close. Pet area large and close by. Not a place I would choose for longer stay but adequate for our two night stay. - Little Red River Rat

Nov 2018 - $18.00
The rate quoted above is the monthly rate of $550 divided by the 30 days we stayed. We made reservations here to spend time in the area with family. The managers are very nice and accommodating and we communicated with them several times before arrival. The park itself is not very nice at all. It's mostly old mobile homes and some semi-permanent RVs (ranging from 25-year-old trailers with junk around to a half-million dollar tag axle diesel pusher). We were originally assigned to one site, but "... someone moved in to that site" before we arrived. I can only assume that it was preferable to the site where we ended up (anything would be, though). We are full-timers and I'm pretty good at backing our 36' fifth wheel with a crew cab, long bed, dual rear wheel truck into tight spaces - but this is the tightest space I've ever had to deal with. With the trailer on one side of us having a slide extended a two feet over our pad to a work van parked at the very edge of our extremely narrow space on the other, I had to rock back and forth in the narrow roadway and put the truck and trailer at almost a 90 degree able to get in... but we got it done. The tiny spaces and dumpy environment aren't the things we dislike the most, though. Directly across the fence behind us (the back of the rig is 4 - 5 feet from the fence - not counting the bike rack) is a furniture factory. The noise pollution is TERRIBLE! The low frequency droning noises I can handle, but the high frequency constant squeal and a very noisy compressor that cycles about every minute has caused me to get out my earplugs to sleep at night. We didn't see much of the other park residents, but those we did see were very nice. There aren't many RVing options in the Cincinnati area. The county parks are seasonal, have stay limitations and and have poor availability. To get something else, one has to go 45 minutes out of town and pay $40/night. - Second Chance

Oct 2018 - $44.00
Big Rig Friendly! Stayed in our class A, 45' motorhome with tow. Plenty of space, easy to navigate, pretty level concrete pads, full hook ups, picnic table, fire ring. Many sites back up to a large pond. Pool was closed for the season. It rained the 2 days we visited, so we did not explore the area all that much. Staff helpful. Office hours seem a little limited. Nice clubhouse. Casino nearby and a shuttle will pick up. Would definitely return when in the area. - 2SimsNanRV
Oct 2018 - $39.00
This campground is in a flat open field in a country-like setting. Pads are fairly flat concrete for parking and patio areas. Although located on a main road, park was very quiet. We only stayed one night on our way to Tennessee. Rest rooms/sh. - Revvie
Aug 2018 - $38.00
Big rig friendly! All sites are long and level with concrete patio. Front section is open and sunny with limited landscaping between sites. Back section is along the woods and is a little more private and quiet. Pool and bounce pad are available to entertain the kids. Paved trail through the woods will entertain your dog. There's a big clubhouse which would be great for rallies. Nothing to walk to in the immediate area, but Belterra Casino has free shuttle service that runs until 1:30am. Did have a 30 amp breaker issue, but maintenance was quick to respond. This would be an excellent CG choice to tour the area if you have another vehicle at your disposal. - Flying Mantis
