Our site was not level, and we noticed that several other people had to level side-by-side. We had trees but only on one side, so it was nice in the morning and hot in the evening. They had a lot of outdoor games that were a lot of fun. They don’t pick up garbage, which is always irritating. The roads were a little confusing in terms of not knowing how to get back to our site which was on a cul-de-sac. We camped at Louisville South KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Nicely spaced out campground. Lots of activities (but we did not use). We upgraded to premium lot which was a bit tight but still very nice. Friendly folks, lots of shade. We camped at Louisville South KOA in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times since it is a few miles from family. They have made some recent property upgrades...better and new play area, better dump site, premium tent sites, many workers making sure place is clean. Pool, propane fill, activities at this KOA Holiday Park. We camped at Louisville South KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Louisville is a great town for food, history and entertainment. This is close to Bourbon Trail and Bardstown. For us, it is convenient to family.

We stayed 3 night. Very pretty campground with lots of big trees. The staff was friendly. The campground itself is a typical KOA with everyone right next to each other and our site was not even close to be level. We were so close to the guy next to use he couldn't use his fire ring since it was sitting under one of my slide outs. The hook ups worked fine, but they really need to take care of the roads and level the sites. Lot's of deep tire tracks in the mud and when the ground dried it became an off roading event with my MH. Check your site before you drive to it. Ours had a large tree that ended up being inches away from the rear slide. Never used the bathrooms or showers. Pretty nice playground for the kids and there was the KOA bouncer to use. We camped at Louisville South KOA in a Motorhome.

A nice quiet park like country campground. They just put in a new playground area (spring '19). They could stand to do some site maintenance to remove muddy ruts here and there. Asphalt entrance road is kinda windy with lots of tire scrapes on the curb. Mix of asphalt and gravel access roads with some potholes. Gravel sites, grass between sites, picnic table, fire ring, reasonable site spacing, mostly level. Mix off pullthru and backins. Access roads single lane with traffic going both ways Power, water, sewer ok (somewhat elevated connection so may have trouble getting slope). Satellite is site dependent and probably seasonal as well due to lots of trees. Verizon was 3 bars with 2.9 Mbps, but feels sluggish so rate is apparently highly variable; T-Mobile was 4 bars with 107 Kbps; campground wifi good signal with 263 Kbps. No recycle. Possible road bike riding adjacent to campground We will stay here again. We camped at Louisville South KOA in a Motorhome.

Great in/out pull thru system so you'd never have to unhook which is a blessing for 1-2 nights if you're not planning on it. BIG signage off main road, clean lanes, HUGE space that is currently under renovation adding more services. Lots of space to walk the dogs and it's pretty clean for the current construction. Attendants take you right to your site, front desk staff was great. We chose only 50 amp and water as we are only here two nights. Have our own Wifi so we didn't link up to theirs. Store is stocked pretty well. Located adjacent to a nice neighborhood and backing onto a gully & green space, not too much road noise at all. Sites are pretty close together but there's about 15 feet between so you can get your slides out all the way and still feel semi-private. We camped at Louisville South KOA in a Motorhome.

We could not have been happier with this RV park. Very shaded, level site, laundry room & showers were spotless. The front office was helpful & friendly. The swimming pool was well kept & extremely clean. 30 & 50 amp available. We had no problems. Pets are welcome. We will definitely stay there again. Tips for other Campers:

During our stay we went to many area distilleries, Louisville Slugger plant was awesome & Church Hill Downs is a must see. Twice we ate dinner at Cattleman's Roadhouse. It was terrific. Ask to be seated on the bar side & ask for Keith to serve you if he's working that day.

We stopped for a night on the way to PA. I wish we had planned more time here. We checked in right at 1:00 PM. The hosts were wonderful. Lots of walking trails for us and the dogs. There is a nice pool. The dogs had fun in Kamp K-9. Once the place filled up more and kids poured out of RVs the playground and ground bounce were full. They all seemed to be having a great time. We went to the complimentary s'mores social that evening, and lots of activities were scheduled for the next day. Too bad we had to leave early the next morning. This is a great place to base for exploring the Bourbon Trail and local museums. Or just stay right there. They make it a fun place to be. Restrooms /showers were a bit dated but clean. We camped at Louisville South KOA in a Motorhome.

Gravel roads and sites. Many sites not level and have mud. Sites near back of KOA very close together. Made reservations way ahead of time and was placed in a site too small for our motorhome. Took two visits to the office to facilitate a site change. Dog park nice but small. Good facilities for kids (including swimming pool). We camped at Louisville South KOA in a Motorhome.

One exit down from 6PM Outlet. Food and gas close by. Convenient to Louisville, distilleries, caverns. Would probably not stay here again unless I could select my site.

Good access to Louisville. Interior roads pretty poor - maybe because of recent heavy rains? Seemed to be a high number of long-termers, which gave areas of the park a very crowded feel. We felt the park wasn't worth the cost, even though we knew that going in. We might feel different if we had kids. We camped at Louisville South KOA in a Motorhome.
