Large park-like shade trees. Showerhouse was amazing. Clean, modernized. Really appreciated. Lots of privacy. Only stay one night traveling. - classylady45

Lovely park. Mostly very short spaces, verify you can fit. Park is right next to a highway and a quarry - can be very loud during the week. Great place for kids. Well-stocked store. Laundry $1.50. - Bill Kelly

I've stayed here twice and have been pleased. That said...I'd like to note that neither site I've been to has been level. The first time I came here, I ended up parking straight in hoping that the lower front end of my class C would help with the slope. This time, I backed in but leveling the back was a bit difficult. Before coming here, be sure to look at a detailed map to plan your approach via a main highway. On both of my visits, Google Maps brought me in a back way that I would not recommend. Also, make sure you have an extension for your fresh water hose as the water spigots are shared across two campsites. You don't need a splitter as there are two faucets, but you may need to run your hose to the other side of your RV. - ramble_on

Nice park for several day stay. Camp map looks crowded but seemed like lots of room between the all backin sites. Interior sites may be a little more crowded but the outer ring sites gave room and area to drop our toyhauler patio. Was a little tight turning the 44ft rig into the space and glad it wasn't crowded but may be me. the sites are flat but many aren't level and cause some issues leveling due to front to back or side to side differences. blocks fix fairly easy Some are flat and basically level. A guy, I assume working for the camp, comes by couple times a day picking up small trash that has flown in Not camps issue but curious why it seems large dog owners seem to think they don't need to pickup . Especially when they let the dog run loose to go anywhere they want too include other's site. - lefield

Stayed at the Horse Park for 5 nights. Overall I have a very positive opinion of the park. Excellent roads into and around the park. Lots of grass and most of the sites are very spacious compared to the little slivers of turf and concrete that many RV "Resorts" offer. The pads are paved but narrow so if you have a big rig you will have to work to place your RV squarely on the pad. Electric and water are available at the site with 4 dump stations conveniently located on the way out of the park. As I walked around I did notice that many of the site pads were not very flat and might require some significant magic to level your rig. Overall, pretty quiet at night despite the fact the park was packed (labor day weekend and two major events at the Horse Park). Some smoke inhalation damage to my lungs as the park provides fire pits for those so inclined. The Park staff was efficient and personable. I made my reservation on-line with reserve America and that worked very well. Overall, a pleasant visit. - HGilmore

This was one of the prettiest parks we’ve stayed at. Easy in and out dump stations, pretty sites with concrete pad and shade trees. We’ve already planned a second trip because this stay wasn’t nearly long enough. - RoadTripAAB
