This is a fine CG for an overnight stay. It is just off I-10 and there is a little road noise but not bad, and it is very convenient. This small CG is beautifully maintained, very clean and the grass is mowed. It does not have a lot to offer unless you are visiting the area - there is a pool and a small (but nice) playground. The people who work at the CG are helpful and friendly with the exception of the check-in person. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hospitable staff, quick propane help, level gravel site, convenient to highway but road noise is not noticeable. Appear to have a mix of seasonal and transient campers...cg hosts some free breakfasts and other activities. Would stay here again if in this Lafayette area. CG has a small pool - but heated salt water...nice. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Tabasco factory tour is interesting. Jungle Gardens ,near Tabasco, is really worthwhile...alligators, turtles, egrets, camellias, azaleas...pack a lunch and enjoy. Konriko Rice Mill tour was a little underwhelming...but good products available. Local cuisine at Cajun Claws really good, plus huge quantities of food. It is a lot nicer inside than outside looks plus it is less than a mile from cg. Locals love Lagneaux for Cajun buffet...but you need to like fried everything...

We stayed here for 2 weeks on our way to Florida. The staff was very nice and the park was clean. There is no dog park but they have a huge field next to the park that you can run your dog. Unfortunately, it rained most of the time we were there and our dogs hate rain. The roads inside are a little tight but we have a 40 ft. motorhome with a tow and we were ok. We would stay there again. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is located just off I-10. It is near several options for fuel and has a small casino near by. The park has gravel roads and sites. The sites are long and average width. The staff is excellent very friendly and helpful. They had a free dinner and breakfast available, that was good. Not sure if that is all the time or special, we stayed on a Saturday night. It rained and there was standing water but it receded quickly and there were no issues. The interior roads are a little narrow could be tight but we did not have any problem. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a 1 night stop by us. Very easy access off I-10 but very little road noise. All sites were level with a good base of gravel. All hookups were excellent, as well as wifi. The staff was very nice and helpful. Basically, this was a perfect stop for us. Although it wasn't quite full, it filled up quickly during the evening. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

A little hard to find with a sharp right right off the I-10. This park and employees are true southern hospitality, could not do enough to make my stay comfortable, escort to site with assist to set up. Spaces are level and long with grass and a table, even two sewer hook up for big rigs, FHU all work well with no problems. Small pool very clean, the I-10 is nearby but no noticeable noise. Restrooms are close by and very clean. Great stop for a night or several days of rest, highly recommend. I will return. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Rate reflects a monthly rate paid in advance. Metered electric is an additional cost on extended stays, but the rate per kwh is very reasonable. Check-in is quick and easy. When arriving at the park, take note that the "Daulat Drive" sign is posted below the "Frontage Road" sign on the same pole. Roads within the park are paved and sites are gravel with a grass buffer with a picnic table between sites. Pull-through area has some trees, but no shade except at a couple of sites near the office area. Back-in sites around the edges of the park do have some trees at the backs of sites. There are a few long-term residents, but every site is neatly kept and all grass is mowed. Our site was level and all utilities, cable and wifi worked well. The park is easily navigated - no vehicles parked in the street, etc. One consideration we really appreciated is that management generally books patrons into every other site as much as possible. Every staff member we came in contact with during our six-week stay was courteous and friendly. We encountered a problem with steps not retracting as we prepared to leave today, and a staff member came out in the pouring rain to see if we needed assistance. The park residents are quiet, but there is some road noise from I-10 and occasional trains (tracks are not close). The park is clean, neat, well laid out, nicely maintained and you won't find nicer staff anywhere. This park will always be our choice when we visit Louisiana. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

I am prejudiced: had a technical issue and the staff helped me get a mobile RV repair man (great job, solved the problem). Site is totally level, long enough to not have to disconnect toad, wide enough for slide-outs, easily accessed with all hook-ups close. Good wifi and cable. Very comvenient to 1-10 and yes: I will stay here again. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Even though did not use showers or restrooms everything was very clean and very well maintained. We ended up coming in early and there was no issue. Sites were gravel but very level, water pressure was good, Free WiFi and Cable. We stayed in site 14. Tropical storm in vicinity so may have to stay an extra night. Not much in way of shade but overall very nice. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
