Spotless RV park with the best view of the Mississippi River in Vidalia, La. Very friendly office staff. Locally owned by Natchez family. Amenities include pool, clubhouse, office, store, spotless baths and laundry. Strong WiFi and power. We have stayed here many, many times. Great spot for the Great Mississippi Hot Air Balloon Races in the Fall. - Oooooooo
Jun 2019 - $50.00
We were scheduled to stay 7 nights, but with the water rising in the Mississippi I called and they advised there was no sewage that they would have to pump out. I advised with this issue I would like to cancel and we would go another time. When I got my deposit credited back they charged me $10.00 cancellation fee. SORRY this was not my problem that water is raising and sewage is not working. I guess I will not be trying out this campground. I was really excited for the stay. - K59 _-

The park is located right on the banks of the Mississippi River with a nice concrete walkway 1.5 miles along the Riverfront. Shaded and peaceful setting where you can watch huge barges being pushed by push boats up and down the Mississippi. The RV Park is spotless and the staff is super nice. One of the nicer places at a value. - BrianC

Park pics look better than reality. It's shady and lots of full timers, somewhat clean but overall not great. No frills. Entrance is a bit rough. Just OK for an overnight stay, would not plan on long term camping. Just my opinion. - Usaerrb19

I just wanted to add that there is no swimming pool. There is no other conventional rv park that has more than enough shade. The trees are huge! Watching the squirrels is a great attraction! Just sow yourself some corn, or hang a cob even. The park has it's own eco system. Trust me, I'm a naturalist. You might get to see a Mediterranean Geckos, which have been spreading farther and farther north, here in the states. Woodpeckers are another good attraction. The park is setting on one of the largest worm beds you may ever come across. It is a very peaceful and the folks are quite hospitable. Awakening to the sound of mocking birds is refreshing. Look for the white painted brick walls on both sides of the entrance, from Highway 61 South/North. In the Spring, the Azalea Bushes blossom above and behind one of the walls. The park was founded in a dress of green and white theme. - AroHed

This is a great State Park about 10 miles north of Natchez. When you make the left turn onto Wickcliff Rd the entrance to the Park is half a mile on the right - your GPS will want to take your further down the road, don't. When you turn in to the park the campground is about two miles further in. The roads in and within the park are narrow, they twist and turn, there are some blind hills and there are overhanging trees. In a word, go slow coming in. If you have a reservation you go directly to your site. We never saw the Park Ranger nor the camp host the entire time we were there. The park is neat, well taken care of and there is no trash lying around. Our site was a concrete pad, perfectly level, long enough for the rig and the car but also very narrow. There is good site separation. Most sites are partial or completely shaded. However, we were able to get our DISH antenna to find the satellites on the Western arch with no issue. Our Verizon cell phones worked without an issue. Our Version MiFi was extremely slow at times. All utilities were convenient to the wet bay and worked without issue. The big problem are the bugs and the ticks. I picked up more ticks walking my dog then I have in the past two years traveling full time. Make sure you are well protected when you venture out. We would stay here again. - William T
Apr 2019 - $22.00
Nice campground, long and fairly level asphalt sites. We had water and electric hookup only. There is a dump station. Heavily wooded all around the campsites. Some sites have wooded path to the lake. Some bugs. The lake is beautiful, looks like very good fishing. Short drive into Natchez for sightseeing. Our site was very muddy from recent rain if you stepped off the asphalt spur. Go to the Visitor's Center first to get an idea of what to do. Many tours of the antebellum mansions are available, as well as a National Park with interesting exhibits and information. Driving the Natchez Trace parkway is beautiful. Access to the Trace is very close to the campground. The restaurant Roux 66 is close and VERY good. - debdana

We stayed in Campground B. Very nice and clean. Not a lot of spots for big rigs. Great overnight stop. Sites are close together. Verizon signal was good. We got one of only two pull-thrus. We would stay here again. - TEXASBOY
