This is a very nice Louisiana State Park but has a few issues. The full hook up sites are back ins but the road is not wide enough to back in without driving on the grass. Sites are paved but narrow and our site had standing water after it rained. 50 amp was available and we had no issue with utility location. We were parked right next to a WiFi antenna but it did not work well. Our Verizon hotspot had a good signal. This campground is well cared for and very neat and clean. Campground personnel were friendly and welcoming. We wiill return to this campground in the future. - roadking
Aug 2018 - $28.00
Our site turned out to be more uneven than most and we had to raise the back of our motorhome two inches. There was also a steep drop off from the pavement to the ground. The picnic table was also placed oddly in campsite. Most other sections were better campsites but less woods and privacy. Hiking and biking were very good but there was not water access from campground. The bathhouse was great! The girl working the office didn't seem interested in the park or activities. - Michaeljess
Jul 2018 - $22.00
Had read other positive reviews of this state park and put it on the itinerary. LA state parks are just plain different. Free laundry equipment, air conditioned bath houses, big level sites, cheap, a pool or beach, well maintained, etc. Unlike our home state where every park is underfunded and most are nearing decline, the LA ones we did were darn inviting. This one was quite nice so stay a few days and fish, swim, do wash, relax. Like all others, go on a weekday. - Bobnjudy

Was in a parking lot, no shade, very noisy and lots of traffic. - lisam
Nov 2018 - $26.00
Great for an overnight stay. They only have 2 pull through sites, but I called and reserved one. Easy off the freeway, only .4 mile. - ETX
Jul 2018 - $25.00
The entire campground is one inch gravel. Not entirely level but good enough. I called by phone and was told to put $25 in an envelope and put it in a drop box at a building near the road. No problem. Only 4 other trailers in the whole campground and right off I-20 on the south side. Great for a 0ne-nighter. I camped at Delhi RV Park in a motorhome. - corkerinna

It seems the owner is making improvements to this campground. He installed new electric, sewer and water. The entire campground is one inch gravel. Not entirely level but good enough. Most importantly, he re-jigged 4 back-in to 2 pull-throughs. But even still, there would be no problem backing in a 40-foot trailer because the row is so wide and the spots are on a diagonal. I called by phone and was told to put $25 in an envelope and put it in a drop box at a building near the road. No problem. Only 5 other trailers in the whole campground and right of I-20 on the south side. Great for a 0ne-nighter. - scarpacci
Sep 2013 - $20.00
This is a no frills park and there is no cable, no Wi-Fi and no bath facilities. Family owned and appears to be on a working horse ranch. Some of the most friendly folks you will ever come across. Only a few spots and nothing fancy. Quiet, hookups worked and we got a good nights rest. Not much else to ask for in this area. - donleeown
Feb 2008 - $15.00
It was a quiet clean camp. Family owned and operated, the park was spread out, there were four different spots. There was also washers/dryers there for use. Excellent park for traveling workers. Easy access and minutes from town. - kab
