Jan 2018 - $40.00
We rented by the month at $550.00. Poor management, poor wifi, poor roads, camp sites with junky cars, bad electrical, ducks flying on top of camper and mess everywhere, cats all over the place. Never again!! - pjneworleans
Nov 2017 - $40.00
Pros: staff nice, dog park, quiet, easy access to interstate and on a pond. Cons: Wi-fi not dependable, NUMEROUS full-timers with extra vehicles and junk parked at their sites. You will need to maneuver around their vehicles that protrude in the road when driving your RV through the park. I would guess that this is an older park so the roads, sites and turns are not designed to host big rigs. The sites are small. I would not recommend this park for anyone with a motorhome and definitely not a motorhome with a tow. The park is maintained but they allow their full-timers to junk up their sites which is why I gave them a "bad" cleanliness rating. - travelingpeople
Mar 2017 - $45.00
We arrived after dark, no one around no paperwork to fill out. We called and talked to a gal, friendly enough, she told us which sites to take. Roads and sites are paved but narrow. A cement pad for a picnic table but it did not have a table with gravel all around. At least for the overnight stays. Large ruts in the gravel area made it difficult to walk around the car. Dirty cement pad we had to sweep it ourselves. Left it nicer for the next camper ;). Went in to pay and found it was $45 a night but they do have a $5 Good Sam discount so we paid $40. Gal wasn't rude but not nice either. Lots of cats running around which I loved, others maybe not. The look of the place is old and run down, needs some tender care. I didn't use any of the facilities so I can't speak to that. This was the most expensive place we stayed and the worst. - Sue-6

Been there - done that - don't need to go back. Grossly overpriced for what it is. The web site says it is 1.6 miles from I-10. Wrong. The road leading to it is 1.6 miles, but the park is actually right beside the right of way fence to the Interstate. The entrance road is very narrow with steep ditch on each side. Just hope no one is coming. Impossible for a big RV and any other vehicle to pass. - rv time

a one night stay, wouldn't stay here longer. it's way over priced. And the back of the park could be really nice without all the junk trailers back there. - fulltimerjan
Dec 2017 - $40.00
We stayed at this part on Christmas night on way to Florida. We had a long drive that day and were looking for a basic park for overnight stay and good night sleep. Website stated $29 but when last minute reservations were made was told website was out of date and rate was $40 including discount. Management was nice and helpful and was obviously trying to update the park. However, even with a couple of recent slabs, rest of park is dirt. Sewer connections were poorly maintained and cable connections did not work. In addition, I-10 is right outside your door. There had not been anything about proximity to I-10 or we would not have stayed here. We stayed here in travel trailer but would not stay here again. - aliner man

Nov 2018 - $40.00
This park has a lot of things to do as far as playgrounds, hiking, horseshoes, swimming, paddle boat, etc however, everything is pretty old and a bit run down. You can tell the owners take pride in the park, it just needs some repair and updating. The majority of the people here were permanent residents. The ponds for fishing were descent though we only caught 1 fish in 3 days and we had several people fishing with several different types of baits. In my opinion, the pond wasn't nice enough for paddle boat or canoe though it was offered (for an extra charge, I believe). The roads are gravel and are maneuverable for an average size RV but the roads are narrow and there are many low hanging branches so a large RV, 5th wheel or motorhome will have a difficult time. One thing that really could use addressing is the last of directional signs on the road. We did it ourself and saw several people go down a road (in the back near the pond) to try to circle around and leave the park but it's just a cul de sac. Not a big deal to go the wrong way and turn around in a vehicle but pulling a camper, you don't want to be going the wrong way. Overall, it was a nice visit with nice time spent in th woods and nature but it isn't a modern updated park if that's what you are looking for. - kbg12379
Jul 2018 - $32.00
Nice clean pool. Old campground with very dated buildings. A lot of permanents. Campground could use some cleaning up and major tree branch trimming. - Bjb1775
Jun 2016 - $33.00
This is a very rustic campground with lots of trees. The entry is down a long narrow road and we clipped the fence on the tight turn into the campground. The interior roads are all dirt and sand, and were tight for our 40 ft. motorhome. Our site was a grassy, sandy pull-through. Most of the sites have trailers on them although there were very few people here on a Sunday. There is wireless, but I wasn't able to connect with an iPhone, iPad, Kindle or laptop, just a spinning icon. Because of the trees there was no satellite reception, and they don't have cable. We were able to get about 5 antenna channels. I would try to find another place before staying here again although it was convenient to I-55. - RVerMJ

Another gem, off the interstate but no noise. Full hookups in an open field type park, bayou across the meadow. Lovely area. Would return. AT&T good, open sky for satellite. - walt662001
May 2018 - $25.00
Basically a big grass field with hookups all through it. Grass was thick and even when rained did not cause any issues. Used pool which was very nice. It was off season so was only motorhome there but had no issues getting to or from anything in park. Probably would not stay if charged full price but with passport America it was worth it. - S Dowdy
Mar 2018 - $25.00
We tried to stay here, but ended up just leaving. This park is no place for a MH, its basically a grass field with power to hook up. We paid for a site, drove to the site, saw the wet grass field that our feet sunk in just walking on it, and knew this was no place for a heavy MH. This should be listed at a TT only park, no way you don't get stuck with anything heavy. - TXDego

Stayed for one night as we are traveling. It had been raining a lot so the place was very wet, lots of standing water and puddles. It might have been flooded as there was trash everywhere. Since it is off season, the place was slow, not too many campers. The office/store was closed but there was a woman on the second floor that checked us in. She was not particularly friendly. The place looks run down. Our site was a pull-through, fairly level, concrete with low hanging trees and puddles. The sewer connections did not have covers on them. There was trash on the ground. There were cars driving around the campground that seemed to be cruising. Perhaps the place is different in the summer season, as there is a pool and miniature golf. But we were not impressed and would probably not stay here again. - mohocamper
Oct 2018 - $63.00
This park needs lots of upgrading. We were there for a softball tournament and stayed here because of the trick a treating going on. Big mistake. They say they will close the front gate at 5 and not let in any cars but we had another couple staying with us and they arrive at 4:30 and they would not let them in and were so rude to them. They want you to wear these arm bands 24 hours a day to walk around and they are very rude and crazy about you having them. Even if you have your parking pass on your car they will not let you back in without the arm bands. I saw them be rude to so many people and turn people away and even calling the cops on people that were not even fussing back. Don't even get me started on the golf carts running around at all hours of the day and night with loud music and drunk people driving them fast and crazy. That's what they need to be worrying about instead of the arm bands. We will not be staying here ever again. - Skeeter69
May 2018 - $70.00
No escort to camping site. Bathrooms needs some TLC. Two out of three toilets were broken. People constantly driving around in their golf carts all hours day and night with extremely loud music with no respect to others. Campsite music extremely loud all day. Cops came out 1st night due to loud music after 10:00 pm. Very dated campground except for pool, it was nice. - BJAcamper

This large RV resort has easy access to I-10. Check-in was easy. We had a same day reservation and were given a discount for Good Sam. We only stayed one night as we were on our way to Florida. All the roads are concrete and sites have concrete pads with very convenient hookups. The bathhouse/shower had a number of private rooms for showering. There's also a gas station and Sonic at the entrance to the park. - WisconsinMiniLite
Dec 2018 - $45.00
Big rig friendly, Stayed 2 nights in our 45' Class A motorhome. Easy to navigate, gated, clean laundry, pool, fire ring, patio. Did not take advantage of the lazy river or pool since the weather was cool. Easy on/off I12, but the bridge was under construction & left in horrible condition (even for temporary use)! Would stay here again. - 2SimsNanRV
Aug 2018 - $45.00
This is a very nice place. Very kid friendly as well as adult friendly. The staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming. Some of the camp sites are a good walk to the activities, but a short bike or golf cart ride. All sights are concrete therefore level and plenty spacious for our 32' travel trailer. Very good campground and we will be back. - Gwinville

Apr 2017 - $54.00
I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay here, we will definitely be back. Our trip was the weekend after Easter so the park was pretty quiet with not too many campers. The kids had a great time, the teenagers and adults loved it too. The park owner and all of the employees were super nice and made us feel so welcomed. The park is very clean, new in ground pool, beautiful pond and a few fun farm animals. The horse ride guides were very patient and helpful. We can't wait to go back. - kbg12379

This is a horse ranch w/amenities. Pull thru level, hard packed site. FHU w/50A. Very peaceful, country setting. GPS took us right to it.
We stayed 2 nights and they honored both nights with PA discount.
We would stay again and ride the horses again. We were in a motor home. - D Curf

Great park. Most sites have wood patio area, some do not. Spotless bathhouse and free laundry. Great nature trails. Recommended sites: 1, 3, 7, 9, 13, 15, 16, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, and 29. 1 & 3 are handicap accessible. 27 & 29 are more secluded and the ones we will try to reserve next time. - C&C Maxson
Jul 2018 - $26.00
Stayed 2 nights here, really nice park spacious , mostly shady lots of trees ect. not many mosquitoes or flies etc. Overall I would stay again. Wifi mostly not working , I was in site 25 and it came and went but not really working , even around the front end of park no signal to speak of . Lots of local stations for your tv viewing , about 8 - 10 miles away from grocery stores etc. - Usaerrb19
May 2018 - $28.00
We stayed here by accident really. We got tired and decided to stop for the night, and saw a sign for the park. We were very pleasantly surprised. The park was flooded in 2016 and rebuilt. Everything is nice and new. Friendly camp host. Biggest drawback was dump station instead of campsite sewer hookups. Beautiful park though. Funny thing is that they padlock the gate at night so if you plan to leave before 8 am, you are locked in and can't leave without being let out. There is also a $6 fee in addition to the camping fee for the first night. Our site was very level. We didn't unhook, and slept comfortably because it was so level. Some sites have small wooden decks on them as well. Park has 3 acre catch & release pond, nature center, river access and (according to the park host) alligators that leave people alone. - Alan and Sarah

Nov 2009 - $30.00
It is off the beaten path, and very quiet. They lost our reservation, but luckily there was not a crowd expected. Some of the long-term residents were odd individuals that made you feel creepy, but if we stayed on our side of the campgrounds they stayed on their side. It is not an RV park, meaning the sites are not clearly established, we were allowed to par nearly anywhere we wanted and at any angles that would allow our traveling party to create a space for us to gather. The few interactions with the staff were friendly. The town of Folsum and Covington nearby were friendly small towns to occupy your time in. We really enjoyed our trip to the area. - Cap
Jun 2009 - $25.00
Overall the campground was nice. Quite a ways off of the beaten path though. You have to go down 2 miles of gravel road to get there. There are some long term tenants which gives the park a less than pristine appearance but they are in an area to themselves. The sites are grass with no paving or stone, but the soil is very sandy so there is no problem with standing water. My brother and his wife and child were going with us to the Global Wildlife Center and were charged $18.00 to enter the campground. Their website states a $6.00 charge per person per day, but I didn't expect to be charged for coming to pick me up. Had a live band on Fri night, I caught the last of it but I thought it was pretty good - arfrancois
Apr 2009 - $38.00
It is a campground but the staff was really nice, the pool was clean, it was a genuinely fun time. The bath houses were not up to standard but it is a campground and is appreciated that it did have showers. More specifically, the showers were functional and clean when we got there but after a packed weekend they did not look safe to use. Probably more of the guests fault than staff. The river was cool. The facilities were fun. The band was good. Spent Easter weekend and had a good time. If you are bringing a $500K motorhome expecting a five star resort, you will be unhappy. If you are planning on going camping in a family enviroment with a nice staff and nice people, then you may want to give this place a try. Really good people in this area. Don't quote me on the price, I don't remember exactly how much. - fatback

Park workers are very nice and reservations were easy. The park has great walking area, great dog walks and is well maintained. This is one of our very favorite parks. Even though there are a lot of full time campers the sites are neat and well maintained. - Marcitx
Dec 2018 - $42.00
Beautiful campground just off I-12 and on a small lake. Staff very friendly. Site large and totally concrete slabs with room for parking tow vehicle. Site trash pick up which we like. - Mainiac
Nov 2018 - $46.00
Very accommodating since we had to change our reservation. Check in was fast and efficient. We were escorted to the pull through site which was helpful. The lake and path around it was super nice as was the periodic dog waste bins. It was cold and rainy so didn’t see much else as this was an overnight stay. Like that they pick up your trash. - Tony Connie and Rusty
