This park is close to the city center. They have sites close to together

and internet was fair. The people were nice and we stayed 3 nights.

I am sure the location to Bourbon Street and attractions is why the sites are all very very close together. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pleasant clean park with friendly owners. Pool and jacuzzi were very clean. Owners assist you in backing into the sites. Area the park is located is sketchy but park is gated and felt very safe. Rode the bus to French Quarter and never felt scared. Trip took about 45 minutes to get to the quarter. Dog area was nice and clean. The park has gravel road with gravel sites and nice grass and picnic table. Would definitely stay here again. The park is a gem. Spots are very tight but owners back you in with no problem at all. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely get the jazzy pass for the bus service. $9 for 3 days (can't beat that price) Did not have any issues taking the bus day or night. bus stops coming and going right in front of RV park.

If you want a park close to town, friendly staff & reasonably priced, this is the perfect park.

The owners go out of their way to give great service.

While there is no pet run, there is ample places for your furry friend to walk n potty. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Motorhome.

We use the offered shuttle to town, by the owners @ $5 a person & used Uber home as the offered shuttle only goes till 9 pm. Our Uber cost approximately $11.00.

Overall Rating:

It's a gated park with great owners who are very conscientious about their park. During our roughly 16 day stay we had to leave our trailer parked for about 4 days---and did so without incident. The only reason I didn't give them 10 stars was due to WiFi service, though it's not a mandatory provision, it would be nice if it worked more often. Otherwise, there's a reasonable amount of shade (especially considering the other parks in the area, even one named after trees, had absolutely none to speak of), and I felt completely comfortable letting my daughter wander around the park without worrying that she wouldn't come back safely. As far as parking goes---there are no pull-through sites, but the owners are very helpful in guiding us into a spot. There's a nice pool and hot tub to avail yourself of. All, in all, probably one of the best offers in the area. FYI: They give you a thorough accounting of all of their optional services and advice for your visit on the welcome sheet. We did not read it initially, but we recommend that you do (they mentioned that no one ever does, and perhaps it's time to change that). They know what they're doing, and we'll be back next year.

Once again: Read the welcome sheet they give you upon arrival. It will save you time and effort. They also have brochures for everything you may want to do in the office (as do a lot of places around town). We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

A reasonable shuttle service to the French Quarter, and a deli about one door down that offers reasonably priced, delicious food.

Great little travel park owner operated. We've stayed with them twice now. Not the best area of town, but gated park so felt good about it. They have a shuttle service for a nominal fee into town. Enterprise car rental is nearby. Nice pool, however we did not use it. They also have cable and WiFi. WiFi was spotty at best. We especially enjoyed all the cats that stay around the place. No rodent problems. We'll definitely stay there again next time we go to New Orleans. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Motorhome.

We had a wonderful stay at Jude Travel Park. The managers were friendly and very knowledgeable about the area...where to park in the French Quarter, best tours and areas of interest etc. Though not in the best part of town the park is secure and gated and is a convenient drive to all of NOLAs attractions. Our gravel site had very close lot spacing and included a picnic table. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Motorhome.

This is a small park located about 10 minutes northeast of the French Quarter. The site pads and driveways are gravel with a small strip of grass separating the sites. All sites are back in and the owner will guide you into your site. Hook ups are good, restrooms and showers are clean and free WiFi worked well for us. There is also an on-site laundry and the owners will give you lots of visitor information for your visit to NOLA. We were there over Easter weekend and the owners had a huge crawfish boil on Sunday. It was fantastic with a terrific assortment of items in the boil: potatoes, onion, garlic, sausage, cauliflower, etc. It was delicious and very generous for the owners to invite the park residents to join them. Stayed here about a week. Bare bones park in a commercial/ industrial area with bus transportation at the locked gates on the street right outside the park entrance, however this is a "rough" area as is most of the city. It's only a 10 minute drive to the French Quarter and parking, compared to other big cities, is cheap! Good park to set out and explore from with very accomodating management. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here during Mardi Gras so we paid higher event price. Very tight spaces, could not put awning out. Bad neighborhood, gun fire second night, cats that peed on our things. Trains behind park. Way too far from French Quarter.

This RV park is gated so we felt a little safer, but you should not go walking down the street. Not safe. There is a small area for dogs to potty but you can not walk your dog around the RV park. Next time we will stay further out of New Orleans in a state park. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Motorhome.

If you are needing a campground close to the French Quarter then this is the place to stay. The management and staff did everything possible to make our stay a positive experience.

The grounds and all of the amenities were clean and tidy. The restrooms were clean and well decorated, WIFI worked well, and there were no issues with electricity, water, or sewer.

Plus, communication with the property manager prior to check in was an assurance that I had made the right decision to stay at Jude Travel. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Nice little park - very convenient to downtown NOLA! It's not "camping" per say as its in the city but that's why we were there. This small park is kept immaculate and is very safe with owners on site and a gated entrance. Reasonable rates, especially with Good Sam or AAA. Even though it looked tight we made the turn into the driveway just fine and backed into our level spot with our 37' Motorhome with ease. Full hook-ups, a nice small pool with hot tub and bath house/laundry room provided. Owners very helpful with info on cheap parking and good restaurants in the city. We spent most of our time downtown but still enjoyed coming home to this little RV park. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a good park for being in New Orleans. The rate is very reasonable. The hookups are good and include cable which as of Dec 2015 was still largely functional although some channels were "digital unavailable". We used the laundry room here and was functional although could have used some clean up. The sites are tight. You might get your awning out if you try. The pool and hot tub are well kept. There are some long-term tenants but they are toward the back of the park. The park is in a sketchy park of town, although Walmart, Winn-Dixie, Lowe's, etc. are a quick drive away. The public bus stops in front of the park, but we didn't use it. This park is a great value considering the other options in the area. My only complaint is that I asked for the office to print a one page PDF for me and they directed me to a nearby UPS store. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great place to stay near the French Quarter, stores, and gas. People are wonderful - camping is in their back yard. HOT hot tub, nice pool. The union hall next door is great to walk the dogs. This is a nice clean, secure, convenient, and affordable place to stay while you explore New Orleans. Yes, it's true, the sites are very close together, and there is considerable noise from the road and the railroad yard, but this is an urban environment and that has to be expected. There is only one area of grass up front to walk the dog, so no, not a great place for the pups, but it's workable. We were here for a festival and boarded our pooch at Camp Bow Wow. I highly recommend it. As for the park facilities, I didn't use them, but they looked to be very clean and modern. The showers have doors on them so lots of privacy, but no bench or chair. Just a few hooks on the wall in the very small changing area. I passed and used our own. There's also a laundromat, but didn't use it so can't comment. The owner is very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that the wi-fi was pretty bad. Worked some of the time, but not very well. On the plus side, there's a very strong Verizon signal. If and when we return to NOLA, I wouldn't even bother considering anyplace else to stay. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Truck Camper.

Tips for other Campers:

Mardi Gras World was one of the highlights of the trip. It's free to roam around the warehouse, but the tour is well worth the price IMHO. Also, you need to call them to arrange for the free shuttle to pick you up. The parking lot there costs $10 even for a couple hours. Also, the little deli/convenience store, Natal's, two doors down from the RV park has pretty good food and a ton of it for a very affordable price.

The Staff was friendly and extremely helpful with scheduling tours of the New Orleans area.. Jude RV Park is gated at dark and quiet. The RV park shuttle is the BEST and a great value. Cost to camp is very reasonable. We will definitely stay here on our return trips.

Very clean park, mostly grassy areas with gravel to park on. Easy in and easy out back to the interstate. Fenced in and gate closed at night for a very secure feeling. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Motorhome.
