Sites are outdated and not big enough for larger campers. Hard to pull in with large fifth wheels, no patio, off pavement is dirt, straw and leaves. Rude people in office, park "ranger" and park "director" are very rude individuals. Stay away! - Brian Robertson

A great place to stay! The leaves were falling while we were there, but the grounds are beautiful. The sites are well spaced out, but a little bumpy. We did not need to do any leveling, but the utilities on our site were on the curb side of the RV. Not a problem as there was plenty of room to move around and get close enough. There are deer, egrets and plenty of squirrels. The squirrels are a little shy, however. We saw why when a hawk cross the road in front of us carrying a black squirrel for dinner. There is also a small zoo that we spent a couple of hours visiting. - geode

We loved this campground as there were few in the park the weekend we stayed and we had no neighbors on either side of us. The view was beautiful and the full hookup was nice. We would give this an overall rating of 10 except for the rude staff upon check-in. We knew check-in was by 4:45 pm and as it was our first time camping we were taking a little longer than expected on the road. We called en route and told them we were on our way and expected to be there between 4:50 and 5pm per our GPS. The lady answering the phone was very cold and told us if we were not there by 4:45pm the gates would be locked and we would not be allowed in. I told her we were on our way and she was very rude and said again the gates would lock at 4:45pm. We debated on turning around and decided to go for it. We pulled in at 4:46pm and there was a staff member literally pulling the gate closed but we went on in. We were given our paperwork with no directions on the location of anything, nothing. Had it not been for the beautiful surroundings we would not be back. Just went by another campsite and the difference between staff was night and day. I have read other reviews about the rude staff and they were point on. - onlaketime

The negative reviews from years gone by still hold true. Absentee landlord, too many pot holes and families living in run-down trailers. - Halfmast

Stayed overnight passing through. The grass was tall, the road was rough and a little muddy. No restaurant as advertised. Many permanents with rundown campers here. - Jloftin

This will be our last inspection of this park! It is obvious that it will never change. There is a new Black Top road into the property but the park it self is beyond words. We inspect hundreds of parks a year and this one is on the top of the list of being the worst of the worst. The new owner and managers are not experienced in operating an RV Park. They allow very old and ran down RVs in the park with large amount of clutter to be stored around the site. It is obvious that the previous owner passed on the bad habits. All sites are in very bad condition, the electric connections are old and worn. There was no wireless signal, no cable and the park stunk of sewer gas. Both the laundry room and bathrooms are in bad condition and should be condemn. I read a previous review rating this park above a half star, I assure you that either this person is on staff here or they rated the wrong park. The entire park needs to be leveled and start all over! The only thing missing here is the faint noise of a Banjo and guitar playing in the back ground, they have the river! - rvreporterontheroad
