Well designed and well built park! Easy on and off interstate but no noise from roadway. The waterpark is absolutely awesome and makes this an spectacular resort. We were a bit surprised and disappointed the cable TV and WIFI were basically dysfunctional, and we were wondering why the grass was so high and not mowed. No shade available due to the newness of the park. For the rate offered they should have been working and available. Would have rated a 10 if not for those failures. I'm not a fan of wearing irritating wristbands to use the amenities but I'll get over it. Overall this has the potential to be one of the finest RV Parks in the U.S. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great RV park, pristine grounds and facilities, water features including a lazy river and swim up adult bar fun. Friendly office staff all wanting to help and accommodate. Strong power & wifi. Rented a golf car to zip around in. Park is alive day and night with golf carts, bikes, kids and scooters plus adults. We had a premium, oversized site. Many groups......located in Robert, La east of Hammond, La, easy to get to. Lots to do for short day trips around area. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Start with the pros. Very clean, well kept, friendly staff, escort you to your site, awesome pool and lake area. Adult pool with bar and kids pool. Now the cons. Absolutely no shade, no shrubs, no landscape. Just wide open concrete field. A lot of partying going on til late on the weekends. Sunday night was quiet. LOTS of golf carts cruising around playing music. If you like a party, this is a place for you. If you like a more quiet place to camp. Stay clear. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Mainly a resort with a lot of "water park" features. Clean, but a bit snug. Crowded with kids, some running around on golf carts, bikes, etc. If you have kids and are looking for fun it's great! We are retired and stopped a night on the way through...not so much. Probably won't stop again due to the cost per night for stuff we don't need. Overall Rating:

A nice destination resort if you have kids/grandkids or a really nice park if you are just passing through area. The main attraction is the very large water park features with a small lazy river and slides on the lake. There is an family and separate adult pools and club houses where loud music plays during the day. There is a tennis and basketball court and small mini golf. The park is relatively new with wide concrete roads and very wide long pads with very wide side concrete pad for a nice picnic table. Each site has a fire ring and grass between sites. There are a few trees. The space between sites is vary spacious. The park is easy on/off I-12 and has very high berms along the road sides of the park so road noise was minimal. Some is the sites are arranged for 2-4 group camping. The park is located near Hammond and close access to stores and restaurants there. My only complaint is having to pay over $6/day for crappy WiFi. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is the best RV Park we have stayed at. The amenities are fabulous. This is definitely a destination park. It is clean with paved roads and pads. But the most outstanding part was the customer service I received when I had a personal crisis. The GM went above and beyond to accommodate me. Thank you!! I plan to come back and can't wait!!! We love Reunion Lake! They have a great lazy river with a swim up bar! The kids love the inflatable park in the lake which I don't mind paying extra for because the kids are on it all day! If there is one criticism it would be that there are not trees by the rv sites. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for a month and really liked the park. Lots of amenities to use from a swimming pool with a lazy river that you can float around on a tube. Sites are huge with lots of room for your truck or toad. Fire pits at each site with some buddy sites available as well as triple buddy sites. Pickle ball and mini golf are also available. The swim up bar was closed but will open April 1st as will the little canteen serving burgers hot dogs and pizza. There is a gas station with a Sonic within walking distance. The Resort is gated so you need a code to get in. Lots of shopping within 15-20 minutes as well as Plantations and New Orleans within an hours drive. Already planning on coming back next year. Only small gripe is the lack of recycling (being Canadian we recycle practically everything). We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

First off, the campground itself is awesome. Clean, completely concrete with no standing water, level pads and great hookups. Staff was friendly for the most part. The problem is they neither enforce their own rules, or rules put forth in order to be a GS park. I've seen countless dogs with no leashes. Dogs left unattended on leads that allow the dogs either to get to the edge of the road or in a few cases, in the road. Saw a rental cart riding around with a pit bull and a personal cart with a Rottweiler, both against GS policy. Four drunk guys on a golf cart riding around for three hours singing to the rootin tootin country music that they were proud to share over their amped radio system, which is again, against the rules. Music audible three streets over after quiet hours from other campers. There is no way that some member of the staff did not notice any of these problems. If you want to let your dog run free, bring the pit bull, people watch drunks on golf carts or be kept awake at night, then this may be the place for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere. This large RV resort has easy access to I-10. Check-in was easy. We had a same day reservation and were given a discount for Good Sam. We only stayed one night as we were on our way to Florida. All the roads are concrete and sites have concrete pads with very convenient hookups. The bathhouse/shower had a number of private rooms for showering. There's also a gas station and Sonic at the entrance to the park. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Big rig friendly, Stayed 2 nights in our 45' Class A motorhome. Easy to navigate, gated, clean laundry, pool, fire ring, patio. Did not take advantage of the lazy river or pool since the weather was cool. Easy on/off I12, but the bridge was under construction & left in horrible condition (even for temporary use)! Would stay here again. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice place. Very kid friendly as well as adult friendly. The staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming. Some of the camp sites are a good walk to the activities, but a short bike or golf cart ride. All sights are concrete therefore level and plenty spacious for our 32' travel trailer. Very good campground and we will be back. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Top notch RV park with many water amenities. Pools, hot tub and lazy river are included in nightly rate. Lake activities requires additional bracelet with fee but our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed these features! Everyone on the staff that we encountered were very helpful and nice. I love that they do NOT allow day visitors into the park unless they are with a registered camper. And, even then, there are limitations. We were adjacent to the mini golf/basketball/pickle ball courts and had no issues with noise or crowds as everyone was either in the pools or lake. The bathhouse is clean, climate controlled and has private showers with lavatory and toilet in each room. Great idea! Great place for families and we've already booked our 2019 family weekend! One of the best RV resorts in Louisiana. Convenient access from the interstate highway. Very clean facilities and grounds. Nice wide, level, concrete pads long enough for any size RV. Very friendly staff. Lazy river and pools were clean. The park can get very crowded on weekends or holidays. Separate pools for kids and adults, although you will see the occasional violators in the adult pools. Park provides free donuts holes on Sunday morning. Good PR. There is plenty of activities for children and young adults. Nice lake with paddle boards and kayaks. Small shop for souvenirs, but limited on RV supplies. There is an arcade in the gift shop. The only negative I could find was the size of the pools. They need a large pool for adults. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The place is incredible! There is a kiddie pool and splash area, an adult pool, plus a lazy river with a float up bar. There's a lake and for a fee there are kayaks and a huge blow up thing with slides. There's a putt-putt golf course (for a fee), basketball, volleyball, and pickle ball courts, walking trail, playground, and horseshoes. During the summer months there is an outdoor movie screen. The campground roads and sites are level concrete with a good size patio, picnic table, and fire pit with a bit of grass in between sites. The only negative - there aren't any trees, so the motorhome sits in the blazing sun all day. It really is a destination campground. Verizon worked great. There is a fee for WiFi and very limited cable TV. It's a bit pricey for a one-night stay, but we would definitely stay again to enjoy the grounds for a couple of days. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a gas station as you enter the park. We filled up before we left, but you can't turn left out of the gas station unless you're on the road going into the park. We had to make a right turn, drove about 1 mile, and turned around in a different gas station. The gas was about 23 cents a gallon less, but it wasn't a top tier gas station.
