Park is great. Appears to have many trails etc although we weren't here long enough to use them. It's right on the water. Lovely landing sites well as others. 3 pull thru sites the longest is #15 at 150 feet. Very level sites. Bathhouse could use some work on cleaning. Depending on you site satellites for direct TV might not be found. ATT cell reception was good. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great location and great sites, enough room on all sides. The pull through sites are great as well. It was a mini stop for us on our way to the east coast. For the price and beauty of the forest and ponds is a must stay if you live in Louisiana. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is one of the nicest rv parks we have been to. The sites along the lake have been rebuilt and are what an rv site should be. The sites are staggered so that a lot of the sites look out over the water and into the trees and not onto the next site. The sites to pick are 13 through 28. All of these are back in sites. A nice pull through site is number 24 which is mostly straight. Most mornings you will see squirrels running around gathering food and playing. Then come the line of ducks headed from the lake to the forest to eat and generally socialize. There is a paved walking/bicycle path around the lake with docks scattered along the path. If you go around the lake to the left, counter clockwise, you will walk around a cove and the next finger is where the picnic area is. Continuing on around that finger and the next cove you will come to the recreation area. There you can get a kayak, swim on the beach, or launch your own non-gas powered boat. No gas motors are allowed on the lake. There are also some group picnic shelters and a big playground. The beach has a lifeguard during the day. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in. The staff is very friendly. The interior roads are asphalt and could use a little work. Most of the sites are concrete. Our site was a concret pull through that was on a small ridge. The utilities were in the middle of the site and connections were easy. Because we were on a small ridge, we could move to a spot that was almost perfectly level front to rear. The site had a slight slote to the passenger side. There was active construction in the park as sites are in the process of being upgraded. The park is on the banks of a river but up high enough so there is no danger of flooding. The park has Wi-Fi, but it was not connecting to the internet. I reported this to the office and the person said she would have the internet reset. That did not happen while we were there. Good Verizon reception. We will stay here again. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Motorhome.

This was our second visit to LLP and it's becoming our favorite spot. There are numerous trails for hiking and biking. There's a pavilion for use by small groups and a paved walkway around the lake. The park management has recently upgraded several of the sites with concrete slabs and wrought iron fencing. This is probably one of the nicest campgrounds in the state. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Motorhome.

This is an exceptional county park where plenty of trees surround a very nice lake. Everything was immaculate. The newly renovated waterfront sites offer the best views. There is a paved trail around the lake and many trails for hiking or biking through the forest. There was no wi-fi but we had good LTE (AT&T) service. Located just 10 minutes off I-20, this is great for a one nighter or an extended stay. We stayed one night in site #21, a back-in with W/E/S and would happily stay here again. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Travel Trailer.

A gem of a park located less than 10 minutes north of I-20. The park is owned by the Parish (County) and is about 30 minutes west of Monroe and 60 minutes east of Shreveport. If you are passing through stop here. The park is kept up well and has a nice paved walking path around the small lake, which has a small beach, and tons of mountain biking trails. About half of the sites have been redone with a concrete pad and have a small patio area with a railing around the back of the site, if it is by the lake. The rest of the sites are asphalt and have pretty close and steep drop offs towards the lake. The drop offs make most of the fire rings unusable and give you little to no patio room. They are in the process of redoing the sites on the outside of the road before they work on the pull-thrus (of which they have 4) when they get enough funding from the Parish. Cell service was great (AT&T), OTA and Dish users may have trouble getting a signal due to all the wonderfully tall trees. Despite the minor issues with the site, it appears it is first come first serve, however you can make a reservation just not reserve a specific spot, this is a really nice campground and park. Be advised that the gate closes each night so if you are coming in late make sure that you call ahead and find out how to get in. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Motorhome.

Nice campground, all interior look afs paved. Sites are asphalt or concrete. Mostly backins. I had site 7, a pull through. It is not level but we made it work by putting the trailer wheels at the top and a couple if boards ubder the right side. Nice paved walking paths around the lake. Campsite area was well cut so no bugs. 50 A full hookup. No cable but OTA reception was good. Well away from major hiways, railroads and airports so very quiet. Campsites are heavily wooded. Playground for kids and swim beach across lake from campground, a 5 min walk. Can rent kayaks to use on the lake. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Travel Trailer.

29 back-in and 4 pull-thru sites on a loop overlooking a beautiful lake. Check-in was quick and efficient. The entire park and campground is heavily wooded with 100'+ trees. Lake is sparkling clean with geese and ducks. There is a concrete walking path all around the lake and numerous hiking trails in the park. The four half-moon pull-thru sites are long enough to accommodate parking vehicles at both ends. Many of the back-ins next to the lake could accommodate a vehicle parked in front of the RV. Water pressure was good, dump station at each site, and electric very stable. Some of the back-in sites are fairly close together but all of the pull-thru sites are reasonably private. Each parking pad was either asphalt or concrete, and a number of the back-ins on the lake had chainlink fencing for safety. All of the pads we looked at appeared to be very level. There are trash cans at almost every other site. The grounds are well groomed and the entire park is very clean. The road to the camp ground area is a little narrow and would require careful navigation if you met another RV on the road. Most of the overhanging branches have been trimmed to avoid damage to your RV. This campground is located within easy driving distance of many eating establishments in Ruston as well as the Walmart. Easy access to I-20 but absolutely no traffic noise. We only spent one night but will return as this is a destination campground that should be enjoyed for multiple days. This is one of the finest parks we've visited and the daily charge is SO LOW. Highly recommend Lincoln Parish Park Campground. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Motorhome.

Fantastic park on a little lake, hiking trails, clean sites, paved roads, and very nice all around park. Had a view of the lake, beach, and woods. Enjoyed walking around the lake and into the trails. Water pressure and flow was the best we have ever had in many many years. No activities but we would love to spend many weeks here just relaxing. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Motorhome.

Great little park on pretty lake. All 33 sites FHU, first-come first-served. Caution: Many of the sites that are lakeside are very close together side-to-side and some will only accommodate smaller RVs. The park is upgrading the sites, though, building them up and out so they are more spacious. The ones on the inside of the loop are definitely roomier (pull-throughs 7, 10, 15, 24 and back-ins 22, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33). I was in site 33 which was higher in elevation than most and was able to pull in a few over-the-air TV channels. Verizon signal was OK. Walmart nearby. Very handy to I-20. We stayed in the half moon pull thru site 24. One would think for the money spent to make a nice concrete site they would have made it level. My MH's leveling jacks raised the passengers side tires off the ground. Other than that what a great park, I would stay there again if in the area. I can see it very full later on in the year. Power was good but no OTA tv. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed two nights here, one on our way east and one on our returning trip. The place is clean, beautiful and well maintained. We camped in our teardrop camper and were able to utilized the shortest back up site right on the large pond. The ONLY thing I can think of that wasn't quite up to par was an occasional whiff of sewer coming from the capped septic line on our camp site #13. Other than that, this place is really nice. They have a playground, clean facilities and the attendants are really friendly. We drive from Texas to Mississippi on occasion to visit family and this is our desired "in-between" stop now. Very kid friendly as well and it looks to be a nice place to unwind as a destination. We will probably just use it as an overnight place to get rest but a great place to wake up to and enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in all the nature. It's well away from traffic and any man made noises other than the sounds of other campers and children playing...which I find peaceful. Well worth checking out for yourself. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Travel Trailer.
