When I pulled in I thought all of the sites were Deluxe sites with their wrought-iron tables, concrete pads and manicured lawns. Turns out those are the "standard" sites. Great dog park with agility objects, separated into two parts for small and large dogs. Friendly staff. Great Wi-Fi! We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Though the park is clean, the drive aisles are very narrow and there are concrete blocks, wood fences, trees etc everywhere and it is extremely difficult to maneuver our 40-foot 5th wheel into the spot. Then we were so tight on our spot that we had a difficult time getting in and out of our door. I had even called ahead to make sure that we would have a spot that would work for our coach. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This park would be so much better if they removed the tons and tons of yellow painted concrete curb blocks that are everywhere...around turns, protecting utilities on sites, blocking patios...it's crazy! Unnecessary and very unsightly. They also make it unnecessarily challenging to navigate certain areas. Other than this, and the ridiculous price we paid, this is pretty much what you would expect from an average KOA. Very decent overall. They need to step up their maintenance efforts since many sites have cable tv posts broken and other worn elements. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Motorhome.

Second time at this park. short drive off I20. Pretty park, well laid out. Easy check in. We reserved a concrete pad space - which was about 20 feet long - totally worthless for our 45 foot rig. Actually made leveling much more difficult than a gravel space. A bit tight to exit. We would probably stay here again as an overnight spot. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Motorhome.

A very quiet campground. There is some street noise, but not unpleasant. Grounds are very well maintained. So many trees providing a lot of shade. It is quite beautiful and pleasant. Only had a one night experience, but would stay longer next time. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here 1-night on a trip west. I chose this park because it had Wi-Fi and cable and some sites with concrete pads. We wanted to stay high and dry in predicted heavy rains and, at the same time, have good access to regional weather forecasts. That all proved to work out fine.
The park, which is looking a bit “tired”, has a mix of gravel and concrete pad sites - fewer of the latter. Access is easy with clear/open roads. Some site have trees and shade, but most don’t. The park is convenient to I-20 but quite quiet. The office staff was very friendly and helpful.
Given the high KOA pricing and the tired condition of the park, I think it is overpriced. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Motorhome.

Just stayed overnight. This is an average RV park and had plenty or standing water due to the heavy rains the day before. My only issue was the lot was not level. Wi-Fi - good signal; T-Mobile - 3 of 4 bars; Electric - no issues; Water - no issues; Sewer - no issues; Satellite - no issues. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice long driveway that will hold several units checking in. We chose a gravel site and it had a tiny patio with furniture. They offer sites with upgraded patio areas and concrete parking pads. Site #40 was long enough for MH and car without unhooking. Utility hook-up was easy and everything worked well. Wi-fi was good. Park is well-kept and there are rules in place so it stays that way. Easy exit. We were just an overnight stop this time, but would choose this park for a longer stay in the area. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA is not far from the interstate. The sites are big enough to accommodate our 43' rig with tow. Cable works well. It was perfect for our stop over. The grounds look pretty. Front office nice. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a good place to stay traveling east to west on hwy 20. The interior roads are paved, and the spots are gravel, but there are some spots that are concrete. I suppose you could request a concrete pull thru spot if they are available. Our site on gravel got a little swampy, because one night it poured rain very heavily. This place is probably about a 7.7. We were in site #35 There was no highway noise, but there are trains blowing their horns a lot in the middle of the night. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This is really off the wall, but we could not find anything else to do this late in the season, so we visited the Shreveport Water works museum. It is the oldest in the Country that used pumps and filters etc. The tour is free, and it was actually interesting.

Our site was very long but there are concrete blocks as you enter the site which makes for a tight turn. There was a metal table and chairs on a concrete pad but there was also a concrete strip as you exit the RV which was about an inch or so lower than the table pad which created a tripping hazard. We were there on a Sunday of Labor Day weekend and by evening the park was very full. Nice clean park and if we were in the area again would return. First stay in a KOA. Nice selection of parts to fix problems. Very friendly staff. Park was clean and restrooms and pool were clean. Dog park needed repair on agility toys. Having the dog park was a plus as we are traveling with an active hunting dog. Site had patio and picnic table and was very level. Stayed 2 nights in 31' travel trailer. This will be a regular stop when we come through the area. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Travel Trailer.
