I come here every spring, we love it! The camp host is the best!, He always takes care of us and keeps an eye on things when we are gone. We thank our camp host! Park is very clean. The road around campground was pea gravel and paved around the other parts of the park areas. Nice fish cleaning station with lighted areas at night. I will definitely return here. - Mike Patterson

Quiet and shady. Absolutely loved it. The only thing that could be better is sewer hook up. However the park does offer the use of a portable tank. Also offers ice delivery using your ice chest. Wow! - Cpate

This is a small, extremely well run county campground. Gravel and pine needle sites, heavily shaded sites, reasonably level with picnic tables, fire rings garbage cans and nice charcoal grill/smokers. A few long termers/workers, but nice. A view of the lake and very clean showers and restrooms. Looking forward to coming here again. This is our 2nd visit here. - horsefolk

We stayed in this campground for one night and were pleasantly surprised. We weren't sure what to expect beforehand, but the friendly staff and the upkeep of the campground put us at ease. We had a back-in site at the front of the park but still had a nice view of the pond in the center. The big private shower rooms are as nice as you'll find. Cable hookups require a separate box with a $10 deposit, so we didn't bother. Wifi signal was not very strong at the front of the park, but for one night we didn't mind. - SportDawgs

This is a 5 yr old campground...level, gravel, lots with ample room. The sites are situated around a small lake/pond. Nice setting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The shower rooms are spacious and are adequate for family showering. Very clean. This campground does have a few year round tenants who, we were told, are students at the local college. This a quiet well kept campground. - rdb

This is a decent CG with long pull throughs, Good AT&T Cell & 3 bars of LTE data, Good Dish Sat & 8 OTA channels. Very tight turn getting to the office. My motorhome & dinghy is 63' from front to rear & I made it so it is doable. Just stay as far to the left as you can. There is a nice little pond in the center with some ducks. The entrance road could use some more gravel on it to cut down on the dust, Friendly staff. - Lugnuts

The park is very off the beaten path. Signage is fair; we came in from the East off of LA 159 The road is narrow and rough. We went the west route\n just our truck. This is not the way to come into the park, road is rougher and there is no signage. There is no gate. When you get to the dump station turn towards it and there is small sign to go straight to the campground. The dump station is one mile from the campground. There is a host campsite at the entrance to the campground. The host was sitting outside, and he told me where to go. The campground road is only nine feet wide and curvy. Our site (#13) was fairly easy to get into since it was dry enough to swing into the shallow ditch across the road. The site was large and level. No trees or posts to make backing a challenge. We had a nice view of the lake. There was a fire pit/grill combo, lantern pole, tables and tent pad. There are hiking trails marked, but we did not walk any. The paths are narrow but appear to be fairly clean. The bath houses are strange, single toilets in one building and individual showers are in another building. We did not see any lights other than motion sensitive ones. Not sure I would want to go there at night. There was no concrete walkway just grass not wheelchair accessible. There is no Wi-Fi but very good OTA channels, even one that does radar and weather only. With the trees I am not sure about satellite coverage although most sites had a place you could put a portable dish. Get your groceries before you get to the park; it is a long way to town. - winnie1

Very small, neat and tidy. Way out of town and off the beaten path. The roads inside are very narrow and a very big rig might have issues getting around. If you're seeking quiet, by the muddy river, it's charming. If you're looking for fast in and out, not so much. No nearby town for supplies or much to do. - jnlrobb19

Gorgeous campground with huge sites. Shower was lukewarm and the bathrooms were not very clean. We never saw anyone like a staff member. Someone did come and empty the garbage cans. Most folks there were fishing and the fishing is apparently very good. We took a long walk down to the boat dock and across the little bridge to walk the upper dike. Lovely place for hiking. Don't use the shower. No matter how long you run it, it never gets past cool. - Judy Birchland
