Always a pleasure to camp here. Clean, well kept park right on the Mississippi River across from Natchez, MS. Lots to do and a great concrete walking path along the river. Shuttle to Magnolia Bluff Casino if so disposed. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Very quiet park with a very nice pool and staff on site. We only stayed here one night, as we were just passing through on the way back to Ohio. After talking to folks there, we may head there again for several nights next fall to explore the area. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Can’t say enough good things about this lovely park. Well-maintained grounds, nice concrete sites (we had a pull thru that was plenty long enough for the fiver and the truck). Area for the W/S/E hookups was gravel covered as were the nice wide interior roads. The park is situated right on the river where it’s is great fun to watch the marine traffic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Nice dog walking areas. No tv. Good Verizon. So/so WiFi and ATT. We really liked it here and would have stayed longer, but they were full up for the balloon festival. It’s a great location for seeing the sights in the area. We would definitely return. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park on the shore of the Mississippi River across from Natchez. Only negative is that due to the levies between the park and the river you can't get a good view of the river from your camper. We will likely go back to this park for another visit. This is a very nice park on the shore of the Mississippi River across from Natchez. The spaces are adequately spaced. There don't appear to be any long term renters. I would love to go back to this park. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

I really enjoyed walking the dog along the paved trail on top of the levee next to the river. I was interesting to watch the Mississippi River barges. We did the Carriage Tour in Natchez($20 per person).

This park will definitely go into our Top 10 list of all time. Right on the banks of the Mississippi River (across from historic Natchez, MS), super friendly front office staff, sparkling clean laundry room and restrooms, a whole slew of amenities, including a big swimming pool. Sites have level concrete pads, a picnic table and hook-ups that are conveniently located. The interior roads graveled, wide and with gentle curves that can handle the big rigs easily. Depending on the location of the trees in your section of the park, sites vary from relatively close to spacious. Nightly price is well worth it. We've paid quite a bit more and gotten a lot less for our money. With all there is to do in the area, and the park itself, this would be an excellent destination stop. Or as in our case, a restful overnight stop. No doubt we'd stay here again. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Spotless RV park with the best view of the Mississippi River in Vidalia, La. Very friendly office staff. Locally owned by Natchez family. Amenities include pool, clubhouse, office, store, spotless baths and laundry. Strong WiFi and power. We have stayed here many, many times. Great spot for the Great Mississippi Hot Air Balloon Races in the Fall. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

The park is located right on the banks of the Mississippi River with a nice concrete walkway 1.5 miles along the Riverfront. Shaded and peaceful setting where you can watch huge barges being pushed by push boats up and down the Mississippi. The RV Park is spotless and the staff is super nice. One of the nicer places at a value. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times and have found the staff very helpful and the park wonderful. The sites are level and the view of the barges on the river is magical. The last time the river was high so part of the park was flooded and laundry, restrooms and black water dumping were not available. We didn't care because the park and the activity on the river is worth the lack of some amenities. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park right on the Mississippi River. Unfortunately, upon our arrival, we learned that the city had shut down the park's sewer due to recent flooding and more potential flooding. They did offer a honey wagon, however. And we were allowed to drain gray water. We stayed for two weeks and the water was gradually creeping further into the park with each day. The river was due to crest a few days after our departure. So, in spite of the problems the park was experiencing, they were incredibly accommodating. The shady park has gorgeous views of the river and a nice paved bike path that leads down to the bridge crossing the river into Natchez. The pool area is very nice. Cable TV was pretty sketchy - had to keep rescanning for local channels. Other than that, truly a lovely park! Just be sure to check on the water levels if staying during the rainy season. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

At the time, about 1/3 of the campground was flooded, laundry washers and bath house unavailable and no septic at sites because of the Mississippi River and the CG pumping station under water. Sites were level gravel and the campground had a pumper truck available to take your black water at no cost. They told us to dump gray water into grass at our site. Lit walkway was nice...except one end was under water. Main gravel park road was busy with traffic from long term campers. Work campers were nice and helpful. Nice looking pool. No cable and wifi was unstable and pretty useless...had to go to office and sit in lounge for stable signal. Fun watching barges on the river day and night. CG is super convenient to historic Natchez just across the bridge. Would stay here again if river is tame! We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are 18 antebellum homes that can be toured. Visitor Center in Natchez has discount if you buy multiple tours. We enjoyed Rosalie, Auburn and especially Longwood homes. Cotton Alley Cafe, Roux 61 and the Donut Shop were very good. The Old South Winery was a throwback 40 years...low prices on a variety of muscadine based wines of good quality...nice people, too. You won't have place to sit and sip but buy a few bottles and enjoy.

Nice enough campground, with very nice office. It was almost like you are paying extra for the office. Plus is a walking path along the river, but you have to be careful of stray dogs in the park if you have pets. I felt it was a little pricey not to be a resort type place. Campsites are level but gravel and very close. Other options in notes section. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Our second night in Natchez, we stayed at the Visitor Center in Natchez. Water and electric with dump station. Just a parking lot but free and walking distance to downtown for restaurants. Also on the On and Off bus route for touring the historical sites. Very quiet. Negative was we had to use leveling blocks.

This large park is on the west side of the Mississippi River and across the river from Natchez, MS. It features wide, level sites in two large areas. Large shade trees, ample lawn area, and a comfortable riverwalk separate the sites from the river. There is a nice pool and clubhouse area adjoining the office. The opportunity to use the riverwalk and observe tugboat/barge traffics was great. The park is very well maintained (mowing, maintenance, etc.) Staff was helpful. Easy to drive across the bridge to all the sights and restaurants in Natchez. We would certainly stay here again. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.
