Beautiful campground. Utilities worked fine. Nice spacing between lots. Internet was iffy but we were far from the office. Pool and hot tub area looked very clean. We had a package delivered while there and the office called us as soon as it came. The folks in the office were great! This campground has a nice view of the Mississippi River. If back in the area we would definitely stay here again. One thing to note was while we were there barges were being loaded with lime and as a result we had white powdery dust on truck and camper. Other campers told us that is the first time that had been an issue and it is certainly not anything the campground can control. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Very, very nice park! It is eye pleasing, comfortable and quiet. There is plenty of room between the sites and the grounds are kept up beautifully. Each site has a large concrete pad and long enough for big rigs and their tow (towed) vehicle. All sites are full hook up. Between the first row (closest to the Mississippi River) of RV's and the river there is about 300 to 500 feet of grassy lawn then a concrete walkway along the river's edge. The park is almost entirely pull throughs with only about 4 back in sites. Utilities worked fine. One morning the water pressure was very low. I called the office and they said the town was flushing the water system. Within a 1/2 hour the pressure was back to normal. The wifi was slow due to bandwidth and the roads were gravel. Those 2 things are our only complaints and the only reason this park didn't get a 10. We would highly recommend this park and would come back anytime. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Natchez (across the river) is a lovely town with so much history and great antebellum homes to see. There are lots of places to eat and plenty to see. Drive the Natchez Trace for a little while and you can feel like you've transported to the past.

Located between the levee and the Mississippi River with great views of river traffic. Most sites are FHU pull-thru and some have concrete pads while others are gravel and many are grass. Pool, hot tub, playground, laundry and a paved walkway along the banks of the river make for a great stopover. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The Mississippi River was above flood stage during our visit, so much of the campground was underwater. That said, the rest of the campground was quite nice and the location was very convenient for visiting Natchez MS. We had a concrete pad, but every other site was grass... it looks like the concrete sites were probably the originals, and were nice and wide, but more sites were later created in between each site to fit more people in. The sites are now an average size for a commercial RV park, but definitely weren't spacious. There's a great paved walking path along the river that we used for daily dog walks, as well as walking along the top of the levee. There's also a pool, hot tub, and playground. Our AT&T and Verizon both worked fine, but the campground WiFi was too slow to be useful. We would happily return. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Clean park right on the Mississippi River. Easy access and full service 50 amp hookup. One nite stay over heading east but would come back to spend more time. Unfortunately the mighty Mississippi River had flooded the lower end of the park. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park and very well maintained. Easy access into the park and the roads inside the park are wide and easy to navigate. There are 174 sites, all but a few are pull throughs. Most have cement pads. Check in was fast and friendly. There is a rec room, gift shop, pool and hot tub and a playground. There is a 1.5 mile walkway along the river to the Visitor Center. There are a couple of cabins to rent and a large tent area. Laundry and bathrooms were clean.

We were in Site 99, concrete full hookups and no issues with any of them. It was plenty long enough for our 37-foot Class A, tow-dolly and parking the car. Nice view of the wide grassy area and the river. Sites are a little wider than normal. WiFi was good and our Verizon signal was strong. They pick up trash at your site throughout the day. We stayed February 13 - 20, 2018 and paid $40.00 a night with our Good Sam discount. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed on site 105 which offered a good view of the Mississippi River boat traffic. The park is well managed and cared for. The staff was most accommodating. We reserved a front row as we enjoy watching the barge and boat traffic on the river. Lots are of reasonable size with most being pull through. Good electric, water and sewer. Good television reception and strong cell connection. Park Wifi was OK but slow so we used our cell connection most of the time. Close to Natchez, close to shopping and dining. We will return again. Tips for other Campers:

If you like watching the river traffic reserve front row on the south end. If you plan on using the hot tub in the evening during cool weather make sure and let them know. The staff locked the area up early a couple of times thinking it was to cold out and no one would use it. Once they understood a hot tub is best in cold weather the kept it open. Tub and pool in great condition. If you need dog sitting services ask them about it on arrival.

Park is located right on the Mississippi River and just a short drive across the bridge to Natchez, MS. Our pull thru site was concrete, fairly level and just a little too short for our 42' 5th wheel and truck. Free wi-fi and cable (limited channels). Nice concrete walking/bike path along the river. Pool area, playground, picnic table but no patio. Plenty of room to walk the dog but lots of sand spurs. Nice clean park and a good place to stay to visit Natchez attractions. Honor Passport America for one night and take Good Sam. Charge $3 a night extra for 50 amp. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

A little gem along the Mississippi river. Sites are spacious and the campground is quiet. We enjoyed watching the river the tugs on the river pushing barges. Park is beautifully maintained on the banks of the Mississippi River across the river from Natchez, Miss. Gravel streets, lots of trees along waterfront. Sites all well maintained....we are ready for 2018 here.... We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

We were here for 3 nights and had been here once before a few years ago. Right by the Mississippi River but you have to walk down to the river to get any views. Site was a pull through and fairly level. Water pressure was good and so was electric voltage. Only bad thing is the 6 or 7 speed bumps you have to deal with to and from your site if you are way down on the end like we were. I had made the reservation 4 days earlier and when I called to make it they acted like they only had 2 sites to choose from and while we were there for the 3 nights there were at least 20 sites that were never occupied, go figure. It is a pretty good park but not in the good part of town. It seemed safe enough though. Wifi was hit and miss. I had to park the truck parallel to the street as the site was not long enough to park in it. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
