16 RV Parks near Woodworth, Louisiana
Mar 2019 - $28.00
We stayed at 54. Had electricity & water, fire ring and picnic table. Clean site, concrete pad. Very spacious and water front. We docked our kayak right from our site. The lake and park was clean. We had no issues. Will stay again. - Cajun-lady
Sep 2018 - $28.00
Stayed for a weekend two hours from home. Beautiful, clean campground. Can now make reservations online. Sites are concrete slabs with blacktop roads. Has two dump stations which are difficult to get into (come at them from the wrong direction). Quiet and peaceful. Will definitely make this a destination again. Popular sites next to lake go quickly so reserve early. - C&C Maxson
May 2018 - $22.00
We love Indian Creek and have been camping here for years. We love the spacious spots and all the trees. A beautiful lake is in view of most spots. Quiet most of the time (weekends get busy with the lake activities). The staff is awesome and very helpful. The park is patrolled by local law enforcement and park staff are always making rounds. There is a beach area and hiking trails. A small town close by with a grocery store and Dollar store for items you need. A city (Alexandria) about 30 minutes away. Keep in mind pull-thrus here are divided into two sites. So, one half may be in use and making it difficult to get into your site (you may have to back in). - rbhaaland
Jul 2017 - $20.00
Out of the way on Highway 28. But no golf carts riding around all day. Had an issue with the 50 amp service but the camp host repaired right away. Nothing fancy just a nice place to get away from the hustle. - Obrenn73
Oct 2016 - $10.00
We know to arrive & setup on a Monday or Tuesday in order to grab the best campsite or 1 of the best sites.
Normal camp site prices are $15 single & $20 double.
We are retired & use America the Beautiful Pass.
Campground will fill up on Friday.
Loop B has a nice rubberized playground for children.
Site 29 is a double site at the end of the B loop, extremely large & private surrounded by trees & an easy walk to the lake for fishing from a small pier or bank if you bring tall rubber boots.
On site 29 you will need to level your trailer tires 1 1/2" on the drivers side & to disconnect as the front will be 2 inches lower than the rear.
We lost service for 2 hours after a small storm due to a branch falling on power lines. Cleco did a very good job finding the problem & correcting it in a short time.
Electric box was good & well maintained.
Water pressure requires a reducer which is a common problem during an offseason week before a weekend.
Best bet is to bring a portable wheeled sewer container to take to the dump station as needed. Dump station is 1/2 mile distant.
This is a National Forest area so there is no accumulating & burning deadfalls from the forest. Bring your own bonfire wood.
Love the many walking & bicycle trails.
Do not expect any campsite to be perfectly level, there are no concrete pads but the camping area is solid, not even a motorhome will sink when it rains.
Safety is not a problem, we have camped at Kincaid over 20 times & have left for hours at a time to fish, boat across the lake to Tunks Cypress Inn restaurant or go into town. Never had any problems with thefts.
There is a live-in manager in both section A & section B & both are very nice but put up with zero problems such as loud all night parties, speeding, golf carts which are not street legal.
Small Garbage bins in front of every campsite & are picked up every day. - JSRFrench
Jun 2016 - $16.00
Campground run by the State of Louisiana Rapides Parrish Police Jury.
Stayed in the older section in the double space at the far end #12.
Excellent walking trails, fair small fishing pier down a hill.
Electric & water only but dumping station is on the way out or use a portable for extended stays.
Each section has a live-in Manager that cleans showers & rest rooms.
There is a boat launch 1/4 mile away, a lake beach swimming area & this is a forested type campground not a resort.
Because it is within a National Forest - you must bring in any bonfire wood & it is illegal to gather wood to burn in the provided fire ring.
No Wi-Fi available or cable TV - older State Campground. - JSRFrench
Dec 2017 - $10.00
We really enjoyed our to night stay in this lovely little gem of a spot. There are two small loops. The campground has sites that vary widely from very small sites to huge spacious ones. All but one are back in. The campground is located on a peninsula with the lake on three sides so you have this 'goes on forever' twisting turning drive in but it is well worth the drive. Our site was lovely, wide and easy in and out. Bathrooms were clean and showers had abundant hot water. There was a really nice playground for the kids. The campground hosts were both attentive and friendly but not intrusive. Electric and water hook ups at the sites were in like new condition. The road was not in as good shape and had some potholes and broken edges to the roadway. Many of the site have their own fishing piers. We really enjoyed a long long walk on the trails. The place is mixed evergreen cedars and deciduous trees. The only thing that bothered me is that it appears way over due for a controlled burn. Debris was waist deep in places off the trails and pine needle straw was often three inches thick under our feet. Give the layout with a single road in and out it could get very nasty in a forest fire. No surprise, all open fires were banned during our stay. - Judy Birchland
Oct 2014 - $15.00
Very nice campgrounds located around the Kincaid Lake forest area. Advisable to scout the area & secure a prime location early. 1st come 1st serve.
Very nice boat launch with a beach, picnic, barbecue area with a limited number of shaded canopy areas. The bathrooms at the boat dock are large & the lake beach areas are large.
Be advised numerous campsites are difficult to back a large rig, very limited number of pull thru sites, many require leveling the trailer & no sewer hookups.
Bathroom shower facilities within the campground are older, no security as this is a public facility. - JSRFrench
Sep 2014 - $15.00
This is a beautiful park that is very well maintained. The campsites have very long pads and are quite spacious. At the rear of each site, they had poured small gravel which made a really nice area to sit behind your camper. There was a grill, patio table, and fire ring at each site. The water had two faucets, one for your hose and another in case you needed it for something else so you don't have to unhook your hose. There was an excellent playground for children, very well maintained with what I think was a floor of ground rubber which made a very soft floor in case of falls. The bathrooms and showers were very clean, air conditioned, completely updated. Beautiful lake and paved roads throughout. Prices are $15 and $20 and they honor the America the Beautiful Discount card. - Travellite14
Aug 2013 - $25.00
This is a new RV park. It is very clean and neat. There are restrooms and showers, but nothing else. The hook-ups were good and the sites were very wide and easy to access. Very quiet. Would stay here again if in the area. - RV Lover

Feb 2004 - $25.00
This place is truly a dump. I am glad to hear that it is no longer a KOA. It was thrown out of the system because it is so bad. - campingrichard
Oct 2018 - $24.00
Rate reflects a week stay plus an extra day. Sites are all gravel, elevated to keep dry after rains. The grass is well mowed to hold down the mosquitoes. The owners are very diligent about upkeep and try to contain the fire ants, but do be very careful at night if walking the dog. If you look at a satellite view, you will note that the park is near AEX runway, though we were not disturbed by planes-just a few flights but not objectionable. There is a train track in the distance and you might hear it sometimes - again, not objectionable. We stayed at the park for a family visit, so most of our daytime activities were outside the park. On the couple of days that we stayed at the park, it was quiet. There are no frills, and we were not looking for a traditional park - just a place to sleep and park for a week. That's the only reason I would grade it slightly lower because it's not a park for travelers with children who might want a playground. It met OUR needs perfectly and we will return. We didn't have good Verizon data service (3G) although voice was acceptable. On the last day, the service was bouncing between 4G and 3G and was constantly dropping... just on the edge of the LTE service range, I guess. Power was good, perhaps on the edge of high at 126V at times. Water was WONDERFUL soft water that central LA has - we made sure to fill the fresh water tank before we left. Do reduce the amount of soap when washing your clothes. Septic might require an extension - we backed up to be sure we were not under one of the large mature tree limbs so we had no issue reaching the sewer. Takes some creativity on your portable satellite dishes - we use an optical satellite alignment tool and we "just made it" in a small gap in the trees. Not the park to "guess" where to put your dish. - cherib
Sep 2018 - $30.00
Very clean and quiet. Nice level and long sites. Owners very friendly and helpful. Convenient to town. Would definitely stay again. - MReed
Sep 2018 - $30.00
Overall very clean and very well satisfied with owners. I do recommend if traveling with dogs, to call first and tell them what breed and recommend a meet with the owners and your pet. Also state if you have a official service animal (license and approved and not a piece of online paper). I was very surprised, they have over 6 breeds on there no dog list, even huskies. So please call ahead for dog introduction. - Gatorcq
Sep 2018 - $40.00
This park is very near I-49 .... You reserve a spot online and are emailed the gate code to get into the campground. There are no service people here and it is pretty much a big parking lot. The spaces are concrete pads, with grass between them, but no tables or any other amenities. This is an ok stop, if you just need an overnighter. They are long enough for a 45' motorhome and tow vechicle, without unhooking. If in need of an overnight stop, I would stay here again. - Mike Mason
Jul 2018 - $40.00
Out in the middle of nowhere, but convenient to the highway and the RV sales lot next door. Easy access. Wi-Fi worked great. - The Hughes
Jun 2018 - $40.00
The park sits just off of I49 on exit 94 and is gated. There are about 38 pull-through sites that could handle most RV's, with full hook-ups with both 30/50amp service. Each site has a concrete pad and concrete patio area. Although we didn't utilize them, they have a very nice and clean restroom/shower and laundry building. - Jude2016
Jun 2018 - $28.00
Nice stop for 1 night. Small park on grass w/ full hook ups. Very helpful host. Park has access to a small lake attached to park. Off the highway about 15 minutes, very quiet. We are traveling w/ an active dog and plenty of area to walk him and let him play in the lake. Our site was fairly level, did not unhook. - Kayak54
Jun 2018 - $30.00
Stayed here for one night. I can only echo what other reviews have said. The place is a bit out of the way and you may wonder where you are going but the campground is right on a lovely lake. The sites are spread out over the campground and our site had no neighbors at all! The campground roads are dirt and I would guess they could be a mess in the rain or dusty if there has been no rain. They were fine for us and our site was level and everything worked well. The Wifi was especially good. The owners are very friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. There are no picnic tables but, if you ask, they will bring you a table. They say they just don't want to mow around them. The office is the owner's unit and she brings all the paper work to you at your site. We stayed in a motor home and would come back. - Bud in Florida
Apr 2018 - $30.00
Just made an overnight stop here. Sites are randomly spaced, no pavement. Road in is sand or mud if rainy. Owners are very friendly and hookups work well including wi-fi. Not much to draw you here unless looking for a long-term out of the way location. Our site was not real level but acceptable. - Grumpier99
