Aug 2019 - $91.00
This facility is a hidden gem. The views of the bay are well worth a 10. The roads are gravel as are the sites, but this is Maine. The power was excellent as was the water pressure. Sites had nice grass areas between them. Grounds excellently maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. I would have given a 10, but there was no pool, and no paved roads. We will return. - Field Trip
Jun 2019 - $70.00
Visiting coast of Maine and spent 5 nights here. The view is priceless. Close to downtown Belfast and easy drive to several area sites including Acadia National Park. As stated prior the entrance is backwards and the gates are close. The speed bumps on entrance are very bid but if one goes slow you won't bread dishes. Staff is very friendly. Reception on Friday evening on new patio. Site was back in and fairly level. But the view is GREAT. - PBD
Jun 2019 - $94.00
Entrance is a mess with gates poorly placed for big RVs. Traffic flow at entrance is "backwards" from the U.S. norm (this entrance is left, exit right). Rumble strips that can break dishes. Way too many unnecessary signs in buckets that are impeding traffic flow for big RVs (8 within 20 ft). Surcharge for using a CC. Office personnel and other workers are friendly and efficient ... owner/manager a bit surly. Sites are adequate for a 45' bus but too short for toad (sideways) .... and you will be reprimanded if the toad wheels are in the "grass". Parking is too far from showers/laundry. In short, this place is full of man-made obstacles. There are better choices and value ... we will not return. - BruceVero
Aug 2019 - $100.00
We stayed for a week in our 31' Class C motor home. We had an ocean side "gold" site. We had a fantastic time! The owners are lovely people. One of them will go out of his way to help campers if they need help with anything. Yes, there's no sewer hook up, but it is NOT a problem. If you stay for a week your first pump out is free - otherwise it's reasonably priced. I brought my guitar and played at the free Wednesday night folk jam session. If you're looking for a loud resort with pool, multiple swing sets, gas powered golf carts, paved roads, and a PA system announcing all the activities - this is not your resort. - James DeMonquay
Jun 2019 - $101.00
Stayed in a Gold oceanfront site for 2 nights. View from site was excellent - overlooking bay. The price reflects the site type. Ocean view = expensive. We had electric and water (no sewer), so had to pump when leaving. Campground is a nice family park with lots of artsy feel to it. There are sheep and goats and it's convenient to Camden. - a688218
Oct 2018 - $45.00
The owners work hard at cleaning and updating the CG and creating cool things to see and do. We have a very nice view of the bay. - Goodcruisin
Sep 2019 - $55.00
A Beautiful, Quiet, and New park in the heart of mid coast Maine. The owners are really nice people that care and it shows. We stayed here in a 35' motorhome and were so impressed we made reservations for next year before we left. - KJAM
Jul 2018 - $29.00
Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 2 nights in a site for big rigs. Our site and all other sites in the area where we stayed were level, but most pads lacked gravel. If it had rained our grass pad would have been a mud pit and we would not have been able to get out. Is it that hard to put a little gravel down on the dirt? Our site was in the very center of the park (big open grassy area with no trees) however our satellite would not pick up a signal. If you look at the Google aerial map, it will show trees all along the outside of the park but what you cannot see is the height of those trees. When we made reservations the office told us we would be able to get satellite reception in the center. Wish that had been true! They must know from past guests what areas do, and do not, get satellite reception. If you're looking for a quiet and clean park where you can sit outside and relax... go here. But don't expect to have satellite reception. - JDC10
Jun 2018 - $40.00
We did not have reservations on this Saturday night and managed to get a pull through shaded, grass site, gravel roads. Park was not near full. They did play music in the evening further in the back by the pool area which we enjoyed listening to because it was a nice variety. The staff was cordial. This managed us well for an overnight and got to walk pups around the campground. Cash only. Our site appeared to be spacious because the sites on both sides were vacant. - Sunnie-Wheelhouse
Sep 2017 - $24.00
The owners are very pleasant & accommodating. We were delayed on our arrival date by 2 weeks due to mechanical problems, but they held our site for our late arrival without any fees or penalties. The rate we paid was based on 1 month stay. Lots are large. We were in a 40' motor home with 4 slides. Water, sewer, & 50 amp electric all worked well. Over all the park itself needs some updating & modernization. Laundry is plumbed for cold water only & machines should be replaced. After 1 month they still has not cashed our check! - Biker2
Jul 2017 - $20.00
We stayed for 4 nights. Some nights the traffic noise from I-95 was really noticeable and other nights not so much. This is a small park with some seasonals and one section with about 5 pull thrus 1 of which seems to be a seasonal. There are 2 chickens, 1 cat, 1 old dog and a duck with a hurt leg that roam around. There is 1 washer and 1 dryer in the same building as the bathrooms. The pull thrus were fairly level and grassy and I was able to get my Direct TV dish locked in. The road the park is on is pretty rough. - mrracechaser
Jul 2017 - $20.00
Good overnight transit stay. It is about 2 miles from the interstate exit on rough secondary roads, but is reasonably quiet even though the interstate is not far away. Chickens, duck, cat plus a very friendly host made for an interesting stop. No frills ... just a good transit stop. We would stay again. Arriving near dark, the mosquitoes were present and hungry. - cherib
Jul 2015 - $30.00
Lots of full time run down sites. The manager was OK but the office etc was a mess. Tiny pool. One washer and dryer. The restrooms were clean but run down. $30 as weekend but I'm not sure I'd even stay here at the half price Passport America rate. - kiwitravelers
Sep 2010 - $19.00
No services and you must carry your trash out. We stayed in Site 20 right on the lake. This state park is small but very nice. It is about 37 miles east of Augusta right on route 3. There are about ten sites right on the lake and if you have a boat you can tie it right up in front of your site. Restrooms are new like many of the Maine State Parks with individual bathrooms, showers and sink. Nicely done! The State of Maine got a grant to construct these washrooms a couple of years ago and most of their state parks now have really nice ones that are modern. No services here but for an overnight or a week most RV’s can live without it. There is a public picnic area that is very nice with a swimming area next to the campground. Since we were there in September the rates have dropped. We paid as an out of stater $19 but in season it must be close to $25 or higher. It is a good place to stop driving over to Acadia or to stops along the coast! - gsnakehill
Sep 2019 - $62.00
Gated campground - a little tight and tricky getting my 41' 5th wheel around the roads to the Premieum pull thru sights. The staff did guide us. Spacious pull thru with nice concrete patio, furniture and fire ring. Water and power was good. About 75% of this park is full timers but sights are kept up well. There was a group of full timers near us that had three large dogs running loose however the owners said there was buried wire fences around their camper to keep the dogs in. A little unsettling as these were very large dogs that my small schnauzers didn't care for but, I had on leashes per the rules. Just saying. This was a good park for the area we traveling to and was not disappointed. - Larry Jenkins
Sep 2017 - $50.00
Nice park. Nice owner who went out of her way to make our trip a good one. Tight spaces hard to back into spots. Looks like majority of park is seasonal. Extremely quiet and relaxing. We were there late so many activities were no longer active. - Matt7571
Jun 2017 - $50.00
We can't say enough nice things about our stay. The manager/owners made us very welcome, and did their absolute best to help make our stay a delight. Park is clean and neat, not big, pet and family friendly. They guided us to our site and helped guide us while backing the trailer into our space. The location is quiet, central and fairly close to lots of great Maine attractions, including Bar Harbor/Acadia. This makes it nice for day trips to go exploring. One example - we stopped at the office to buy firewood. VERY reasonably priced, but most amazing, they delivered it to our site within 5 minutes! I've never had that happen before. - RamjetPA
Sep 2019 - $29.00
A mostly seasonal campground conveniently located near the interstate but far enough away from traffic noise. Our site was a little challenging to level but we managed. It was a tight fit too. Nice view of the lake though. Very friendly staff. We would stay here again. - MJB
Jun 2019 - $40.00
Convenient for a one night stop. Mostly seasonal campers, but well kept. Super friendly staff. - Meyersdvm
Sep 2016 - $27.00
We stopped for a night on our way home from a trip to Nova Scotia. It is mid September, so the camp's residents were mostly seasonals. Seasonal sites occupy probably 70% of the campground, so if you are looking for a site in the height of the season you may want to call first.
We camped on site 22, right on Sebasticook Lake. The view was gorgeous and the site well maintained. There are only 7 lake sites and another 7 with front lake view out of 69. Lake front sites do not have sewer hook up. Full hook up sites are $30.00.
There are several docks and boat ramps and a small beach.
The owners were very nice and friendly. Our one night stay was uneventful and enjoyable.
The campground is conveniently located close to Hwy 95 and on Route 2 for travelers driving the scenic route East - West. - Catalina W
Sep 2019 - $28.00
Nice park being run by nice, helpful people. The interior roads are gravel, while our site had more rocks. There wasn't much shade, but it looks like trees had been planted and needed to mature. All the utilities worked fine, and it was easy to get connected. OTA television wasn't bad, but we had to keep adjusting our antenna and never could get NBC. Satellite TV was good, as was our AT&T cell phones and hot spot. The park's wi-fi was spotty, at best, and we had to use our hotspots about half the time. We would return. - Bbtj
Aug 2019 - $25.00
Very friendly host. Well maintained grounds. Easy in and out. About an hour to Bar Harbor which has a lot to see and do. - Jimbo1973
Aug 2019 - $26.00
Rate based on monthly rate. This RV Park still remains the best bet in the Bangor area. As in many other places we been to lately, they no longer have cable. OTA TV is fair, ABC, CBS, FOX & a couple of PBS types were always strong, NBC was real spotty. Most of the folks that work and run this RV Park still are top notch. My only complaint would be the guy who used the weed wacker on a gravel and stone site. He had stones flying all over the place. Dust still can be an issue. - Bob and Inga
Oct 2018 - $35.00
Tight turns and a steep hill lead into this tiny park. We were assigned a 30 amp back-in near the office which would have been a very tight fit for our rig. The one remaining staff member (they were closing for the season in a couple of days) suggested we just go down by the lake, take up two sites and enjoy the scenery. Only one other rig came in during our four-night stay. Most of the seasonal rigs were empty; the few remaining people were pulling boats out of the water and closing up for the winter. Water went off briefly due to a leak somewhere in the park. It was quickly restored. While most of the park could use a serious face lift and upgrade, it was peaceful, quiet and scenic. Steep, rutted gravel road and a tight turn made it difficult to get out of the park. - rfmscat
Aug 2016 - $38.00
Stayed for 4 days/nights. We had a water site, and it had an awesome view of the lake. No problems with power. No sewer at the lake front sites, but we knew that when we made the reservation. The owner came by and pumped out our holding tank when asked. The pump-out fee was very cheap!
They have an entertainment room that we never visited, but there was often a flurry of children activity during the day.
No problems, and clean facilities. Oh, if you mingle with your neighbors, you might get Lobster for $2.50 a pound.
We would DEFINITELY come back again! Very quiet! - Bob Mac
Jul 2016 - $42.00
Owners were really nice. Gave us a site close to the swimming beach and playground. Had our 6 year old granddaughter with us, it was very convenient for her to run over and play. My main complaint with the site is that it was grass, and wet/soggy from recent rains. This made it impossible to use our leveling jacks, even with boards placed underneath. Sites are small, but there was no one in the adjacent sites, so it was okay. - Michigal
