Overall Rating:

Decent park. No sewer hookups but easily accessible dump station. Sites very close together with limited accommodations for larger units especially those pulling an additional vehicle. Park security very good with pass card access required. Evenings are very smoky and can present a problem for those with breathing difficulties due to the number of camp fires in close proximity. We were close to busy Rt 1 and could hear road noise. The campground and all facilities are clean and well maintained. A laundry facility would be a wonderful addition. Small playground for the kids and a nicely maintained pool on premises. Office has a small store with the basics: soda, ice, coffee, etc. Our site, like many, was not very level. We camped at Dixon's Coastal Maine Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Very busy Ogunquit village and beach only 2 miles away, but be prepared for heavy traffic near town. Parking at public beach is $30.00 per day with no reentry. A visit to Perkins Cove and a walk on The Marginal Way are in order. Mt. Agamenticus is close by with very good hiking trails as well as a paved road to drive to the top for those not inclined to hike. 360 degree views, with wonderful view of the ocean from the summit.

This park charged a bit more than we are usually willing to pay, but it was well worth it. The park is a beautiful and well-maintained. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers are exceptionally clean. They do charge $0.50 per 5 minutes for the showers, but the cleanliness and privacy make it worth the cost. We would definitely return to this park. We camped at Dixon's Coastal Maine Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nice 2 services campground. Everything clean. Pool little cool, but some prefer. Next to Ogunquit, (3miles) Shaded area for real campers (Tents) Few open site for bigger rigs. Does the job for a week in the region. We camped at Dixon's Coastal Maine Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects 4 adults and 1 extra vehicle. This is a clean, decently maintained and landscaped campground. Very nice heated pool. Newer updated bathroom & coin operated showers. Our W/E hookups were in good working order. Interior roads were paved, most sites that we noticed had crushed stone. Being a shore line campground most sites which including ours were on the smaller side which made parking difficult. Geography at the campground was lightly wooded and somewhat hilly. Good signal on our verizon phone. Staff was professional and informative. We enjoyed this campground and would return or recommend this place. We camped at Dixon's Coastal Maine Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for two nights on arrival into Maine. Our very woodsy site was situated on a road going down a hill and needed leveling. Campground had a rustic feel to it; restrooms had separate toilet and shower areas and had no indoor sinks. Good Wi-Fi and strong antenna signal for TV. Not far from Mount Agamenticus, worth a drive for the view. Close to Flo's famous hot dogs. We camped at Dixon's Coastal Maine Campground in a Motorhome.

We love this campground! This is our 5th stay at this campground. Great location for enjoying the beach and ocean. Clean pool. Great area for the kids to ride their bikes. Most recent stay was with 9 other families. We all had a blast and have already booked our sites for next summer. We camped at Dixon's Coastal Maine Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Dixon's Campground was excellent. Nice, friendly owners and workers; everyone was willing to help in whatever way possible. They help you back into your sites, deliver firewood, etc. We had a big, wooded site (site #86 was great for our 20' camper) which was level and easy to get into. Clean restrooms, showers, and pool. Great location for visiting York, Ogunquit, and Kittery. Our kayak guide was excellent and a lot of fun. We will definitely return here. We camped at Dixon's Coastal Maine Campground in a Motorhome.

Great people who where very helpfully. They escort you to your site and will help you pull in if needed. This is a great campground to see the southern coast area from. We camped here in a motorhome and we where the largest on site, upper area had room for us but watch the lower wood areas if your in a class A. We will be back!!
