So many good things to say about this place! Most have already been said. I will add that we LOVED having our own little yard and our trash can at the end of the site. The walk along the trail was fantastic and the owners were super nice. Would stay again. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed a week. By far one of the best parks for people who want great scenery, friendly campers, and a welcoming host. Clean showers and restrooms too! Owner cares about keeping the property well groomed. This is a hidden gem! We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Motorhome.

We spent two weeks at Sunset Point Campground in Harrington, ME in our 39' fifth wheel. We stayed in a long pull-through site that was more than long enough for our fifth wheel, tow vehicle and a car. The site was quite wide and had shrubbery between neighboring sites for even more privacy. Each site has a picnic table in a roofed pavilion. The pull-through sites do not have sewer hookups but mobile sewer pumpout is available for $10. The campground is on the edge of a bay and there is a well-maintained trail that runs along the water, with benches in several places. The owners are very friendly and keep the campground very tidy. We didn't use the bathhouse but the laundry room was clean, although with only one dryer and washer. This is a small campground and does not cater to seasonal campers. The campground has a small playground and horseshoe pit. The owner offers lobster for sale at a very good price, either live or cooked. We had cooked whole lobsters twice and they were delicious. Harrington, ME is a very small town but it is within an hour of a lot of sightseeing spots in every direction. We recommend this campground and would return. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here in our 21' travel trailer for 2 nights and were impressed with this campground. It is small, but the sites are well situated. Each site has a picnic table with a roof over it and lattice work on the side towards the closest neighbor to provide privacy. The campground is bordered by the ocean, and about half of the sites have a good ocean view. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nice campground on a cove. The owners cook lobster and will deliver them, plus crackers, to your site. At $9/lb cooked, it can't be beat. They have a dock where you can tie up your boat, though it'll rest on the mud at low tide. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice quiet park with a view of the ocean. This park is north of the Bar Harbor area so it's quiet. Nice grassy site with a gravel driving surface. The picnic tables have pavilion roofs over them. We enjoyed the hiking path and benches by the water. There is no cable or OTA, they have a nice selection of DVDs to borrow. The laundry is clean, one washer, one dryer. The owner is on site and keeps firewood and ice available. I think he can arrange for lobster, but we did not do that. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Beals Island for lobster roll. Blueberry World on Rt 1 North for fresh pies and flash frozen blueberries to take home. It's about 1-1/4 hours north on Rt 1 to Campbell's Island. We enjoyed it, and recommend the tea with Eleanor. It's an easy up and back but you need your passport. The owner has a nice local directory available. Enjoy a sunset on a bench by the water!

This is a small but well maintained campground that overlooks a tidal river tributary of the ocean. The river basin that abuts two sides of the park empties twice a day provides a continually changing water view-which can be enjoyed from the benches placed along the waters frontage by the owner. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Centrally located along the coastline provides great sightseeing from the Schoodic peninsula, the northern annex of Acadia National park, all the way up to the West Quoddy Lighthouse near Lubec. No visit would be complete without a trip to Beal's Island and Bayview Takeout, an iconic roadside eatery. The parking lot provides a message about the quality of the seafood offerings - at least 2/3 of the license plates are local Maine plates.

Great spot! Roads are gravel and in good condition. Sites are grass and are very roomy with lots of trees for privacy. All sites were easy to get in and out of - both back in and pull throughs. We saw several 45' Motorhomes come and go with no problems. The owner has mowed many areas and trails through out the property so it was nice for walking the dogs. Also there is a nice walking trail along the water. There is a medium size grocery store not too far but most things are not close by. This was our favourite RV Park so far this summer and we plan on returning. We have a 38' motorhome. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Motorhome.

Beautiful small park on a back bay, the bay empties out entirely at low tide, and then fills back up at high tide. Very well kept, quiet, and peaceful. You can by lobsters from the campground, or go down to the docks a few miles away and buy off the dock. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a small and quiet campground. We had a spacious pull thru site for our 25ft motorhome. Nice plantings between sites with our own covered picnic table and firepit. The trails along the coastline around perimeter of the campground gave beautiful views. Lots of benches to stop and sit awhile. Friendly staff. Wood for firepit available at $4 a bundle. Lots of DVDs available to borrow. Definitely recommend. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Motorhome.

Pros - this is a very nice quiet campground next to the bay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Sites are large, grassy, and many are shaded. Cons - BEWARE, there is no TV antenna coverage and the owner charges $5 PER DAY for cable. There is nothing in his website that states anything about this extra charge or the lack of coverage. I believe that is somewhat deceiving. However we would definitely stay here again as it is a beautiful area. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Be aware that there are two CGs with very similar names and only about 50 miles apart along the Maine Coast. (We stayed at the other as well - see my review.)

This is a great, though small, CG that actually backs up to a bay with a view to the Atlantic. We found it by accident and were happy enough to add days to stay four nights. Quiet, well spaced sites. The owner will even deliver a lobster dinner to your site if he has any.

If there was any drawback, our particular site was a bit difficult to back in with a 38 foot 5th wheel and a long bed truck. Most of the other sites will work just fine. A covered table, fire ring and trash can at every site. There is a very nice, easily walked path that follows the shore and has a couple benches. We hope to return someday. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I love this little campground and could easily spend weeks here. It only has 21 RV sites and feels like a campground should. It's quiet, attractive, and functional. The facilities are not new, but they are clean and well maintained. You get park quality views and sunsets from the short little trail around the campground, or directly from some of the sites, for no extra charge. No water slides, pools, or coasters, so it won't appeal much to the faux adventure crowd. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Motorhome.
