Oct 2018 - $44.00
Large tree-filled park with many seasonal residents. Facilities are old and could use an upgrade, but are adequate. At this time of year most of the amenities are not available and many of the seasonals have already closed up for the winter, so the park was not crowded. Close to Portland and plenty to see. - rfmscat
Aug 2018 - $65.00
Third trip to this campground, this time a week before Labor Day. An older campground with weird campsite layouts. Campsites are jammed close together. Most (60 to 70 percent) of the campsites are seasonal. Campground is near the airport, if your windows are closed the planes flying overhead are not too bad. Full hook-up, with 20/30/50 amp service. Utilities are at the back of the campsite, which required additional water and sewer hose. Cable TV with 68 channels, that required additional cable to reach the box. WiFi is weak and not secure. Verizon cell service is 2 bar/4G. There's a pond on site with a beach and swimming area. Basketball and volleyball court. A general store is on site. Dog rabies documentation required. - Bburgbrewer
Jul 2018 - $63.00
The campground also has a public entrance for a fee to a beach at the lake. Though this was a pond in our eyes, nice enough but not a lake. We had a site right on the pond, kids could easily drag the kyacks down a sandy hill and take a leisurely paddle. There were some activities at the campground but we were out mostly, and they stopped early. Very quiet at night, people friendly, luckily there is every type of shopping nearby as their store was sad. Our site was easy to get in and level, but the sewer pipe was 2 ft in the air, it was odd. Hubby rigged some plastic gutters to sit the sewers pipe into so we could properly dump. Would definitely return but ask for different site. Close to OOB and Portland. - K S

We stayed one night as we headed South from Canada. Navigation of roads was a bit tight with 3500 GMC and 32 ft 5'er. Our 32ft 5th wheel was a tight fit for the campsite. Be prepared to back in with some close trees nearby. Lots of helpful folks to assist in getting it placed. Appears to be a very popular seasonal campground with many folks returning year after year. Positioned by a body of water that is beautiful. No issues with check-in. I'd stay there again. - travelbychoice
Oct 2018 - $35.00
An adults only campground. My first impression was that the sites were too close together. The pull through sites are very close together. The back in sites, however, have decent separation, although there are a lot of campsites on a small plot of land. The sites are mostly dirt. About half of the fairly small campground is seasonal. The seasonal is on one side and the transient is on the other. All of the back in sites have views of a slough. Pull through sites have views of other pull through sites. Our site was dirt. Not sure I would have been happy in the rain, but it didn't rain while we were there, so I don't know. Everything, absolutely everything, was perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. The site had been raked before we got there. That was a first for us. Our first impression wasn't all that great because of site spacing, but the place grew on us because of the cleanliness and maintenance. - AnnP
Oct 2018 - $40.00
We've been camping here for years but this was our first seasonal stay. The campground is exceptionally clean and well maintained, the owners work very hard to make improvements and ensure their campers are happy. The ducks are adorable - Esluckydog

First off, great price for what you get compared to many campground for the off-season. They keep the pools and hot tubs open long after most others are closed. We were able to enjoy the adult pool and hot tubs which was great. Our site was large and backed up to a pond which we like. We were their for the OOB car show which did not disappoint. There was plenty to do but because it was so nice and quiet this weekend we were able to sit and relax which was nice. We have been enjoying Baylee's for many years and will continue to do so. - Happy Camper X2
Sep 2018 - $55.00
Bayleys RV Resort, Scarborough, ME. $55., no discounts I can say that this IS a resort! We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and even in late September, there were a lot of people in the main pool, and kids on the playground, and on bikes. Next to the pool is a bar/restaurant that was closed for the season. Our site was in the back (north) part of the park, and the bumpy gravel road with speed bumps was annoying! I wish they would pave all the main interior roads. Our site was long enough, and very wide, had a picnic bench and fire ring. There was an ADULTS ONLY swimming pool and hot tub in our section, and a nice (but expensive) laundry room (5.50-6.50 per wash). There is a restaurant in this complex as well (closed for season) and shower house that was very clean and nice. My only complaint about them is they were not angled right, so the water pooled in the "dry" area. There are fishing ponds, kayak rentals, mini-golf, playgrounds, etc. they rent golf carts, and there was quite a bit of traffic through the campground over the weekend. Many people rent a site for the whole season, and leave rigs, etc. set up the whole time, but there was only a small area in the back of the park where it appeared people lived year-round and had wooden porches, etc. set up. I could see that this would be a very busy place in the summer, especially weekends. If you are camping with kids, and want things for them to do, this place would be great. If you want a more quiet experience, I would avoid Bayley's during the summer. We used this as a base to visit the area both N and S on US1. Easy day trips all the way down to Kittery. - TN Gator
Sep 2018 - $50.00
First time here, was very peaceful and clean. pools were still open and looked to be clean and well kept. Very nice place to stay. Our site was a slightly hilly front to back and had to use a extra blocking in the rear. - D-Miller

Aug 2018 - $86.00
Busy campground, but sites are spacious and level. Great dog park area. Some sites have a lot of shade, others none. Probably my one recommendation would be to have more brochures available in the office for local activities. There is a two page sheet with some restaurant idea, etc, but not the typical campground where there is a wall of things. - Junia
Jun 2018 - $86.00
This is a campground I would stay again at. WiFi was excellent even when the park was close to full. If I had to say anything on a negative side would be their pool, at one time I counted 26 kids in the pool with very little if any adult supervision. I can't really blame the campground but the parents seemed to look the other direction if they where even there. - Mikieduck
Jun 2018 - $222.00
In the four days we stayed there we saw no one clean the hot tubs. Pool should be open to everyone instead of people over 21. 14 year olds don't want to swim in a kiddie pool. Cabin was nice. Quite a ways to the ocean, nothing you want to walk to. Overall not very satisfied. - Unhappy77

Aug 2017 - $95.00
Stayed here for about a week. It was a nice campground. They have mini golf, which we enjoyed with our kids and the pools were nice as well. We will go back. It was VERY dry and dusty due to no rain, so the dust clouds were huge when we were backing into our site and made it pretty difficult to see. It is something we definitely remember about the place, but it didn't take away from our stay at all. Just made for the coach needing a good scrub! lol Nice place, we'll go back. - DaveNH
Aug 2015 - $85.00
A crowded campground - but they all seem to be at Old Orchard. We stayed in the back, Pine Grove area, which was more private and had a new pool, which was lovely and private. Hate, hate, hate the razor wire fences at the front - it feels like a zoo trying to keep the animals in. But....it did grow on us. Sites near the back pool are nice... full sun - that is where we would get next.... pools at the front are nice... but right next to the road - would not want to have a site by the road - too noisy and crowded. Others we met said it was the nicest in Old Orchard area. Nice access to the beach. Trolley that goes downtown is handy. Fireworks on Thursday. Bathrooms are very clean, strict about bikes and fires after 11. Kids liked the ping pong, kids hot tub (a nice touch) and free mini putt. Speaking of kids - absolutely hate it when we are charged extra for the kids - this is supposed to be a family campground. Especially with teens, who are not partaking in too many camp children's activities. Dogs are also extra. With the Canadian dollar right now, this made for very expensive camping. Probably the most expensive campground we have been to. But... the campground is full, as many French Canadian families have been going there for years, and it is a desirable area. - User901
Sep 2014 - $40.00
We stayed here at the end of season when only about 25% of the campsites are open. The campground was very nice, clean, and quiet. It is conveniently located for sightseeing, shopping, and the beach. The staff was very helpful and offered great info on the area. The wifi was wonderful (our site was close to office); many cable TV channels to chose from. Would definitely stay here again. - Longhorn Fan

Jul 2017 - $40.00
Clean campground. Many campsites placed on a small, wooded footprint. Campsites somewhat level. Very narrow interior gravel roads somewhat difficult to navigate. Park extremely hilly so roads are either up or down and very twisty, i.e., no level roads. Not big rig friendly. Price above was for W&E. Dump available in campground. WiFi throughout park. Few satellite-friendly sites, but OTA channels good and cable is available at some sites. Power was steady. Security provided with key card entry. Friendly, helpful, on-site, owner/managers. There just isn't much they can do to deal with the hilly landscape. - SunStar203
Jun 2013 - $49.00
This park is nice; rustic yes, but with a nice pool. We only stayed one night, and it wouldn't be worth it to come back unless we were going to stay for a while. The reviewers who say the interior roads are narrow and rough are not kidding. We have a 36 ft 5th wheel with a bike rack. I gave my length as 40 ft. the roads are so hilly, with "sharp" hills that we dragged the bike rack 3 times, and that was after adjusting the air in the hitch as much as we could. We scraped branches on BOTH sides. The people were very nice, both AT&T and Verizon cell worked, the Wi-fi was on and off. I would recommend this place for smaller rigs, but not for big rigs. - Soos
Jul 2012 - $36.00
If you are looking for an "RV Resort" look elsewhere. If you are looking for a rustic campground in the woods, read on. The interior roads are steep, unpaved, tight, and very rough. The trees are trimmed back enough to permit big rigs access with no roof damage. And some sites look like they will accommodate big rigs without too much hassle. Other sites however, will make entry and exit a serious challenge. On the plus side, the Wi-Fi works well and the cable TV is terrific. The trees make for good privacy on most sites. I don't think satellite dishes will work well with all of the trees. There are a fair number of seasonal campers here, but that's really not an issue. We stayed here during the week and the nights were quiet. - DrLewie

We thought the campground was a very nice. We didn't use the restrooms, but the other areas were very clean and well taken care of. I gave them a 9 only because they didn't have any activities like other campgrounds of this quality, but I do realize you're there for the beaches and town activities, which we took part in. - tshaunb
Jun 2018 - $70.00
Ok campground with exceptional bathrooms. They were always clean and well stocked. The wifi worked very well too. This place would be a 9 or 10 if they had better sites. They were dirt/grass and had no patio etc. Also did not enforce parking rules or number of people per site. The site across from us had one trailer, two shelters, one tent, two cars, two motorcycles and one truck. All at the same time. wow! what a sight. - Phoenixaway
Aug 2017 - $76.00
This place is a pricey but the location is great, the bathrooms were some of the nicest and cleanest we've ever encountered. The sites are pretty close together and there were LOTS of little kiddos riding bikes all over the place, which is sometimes unnerving with vehicles and trailers using the same roads. There is a nice grocery store about 10 minutes away (by foot) and you can easily walk into town in less than 20 to 30 minutes, which is very convenient. There is also a little trolley system which is only $1 per person but we elected to walk. There are lots of little shops and restaurants in town and it was buzzing!!! - Cinzia

Oct 2018 - $45.00
We camped in a 40' Motorhome in one of the lakeside sites with full hookups for 7 days. The park is large and has a large pond as a central feature. The park is very nicely landscaped and extremely well taken care of. The water, electric and sewer system are all top notch. Cable television is provided; however, there are minimal channels and given the height of the trees in our site, satellite was iffy at best. Wifi worked pretty well except when park was full. The only issue we had was the water side sites are better suited for a smaller, 34' or less, motorhome. Due to the popularity of Old Orchard Beach and the changing of the leaves out in the countryside, coupled with US Columbus Day and Canadian Thanksgiving, the campground was bursting at the seams. As the sites were short most trucks pulling campers and 5th wheels parked parallel to the road and made it very difficult to navigate the somewhat confusing road structure within the park. As mentioned, would have been less of an issue for a shorter rig. Again, a very nice park with lots of amenities and things to do around the area. Old Orchard Beach was within easy walking distance. - tomcotten
Sep 2017 - $46.00
The park has a lot of seasonal park models. It's very emmaculate. Roads hard to get around. Some sites close. We camped way to the very back. Nice back in spot. The check in staff is super friendly, the owners and workers not so much. We was escorted to our site by what we believed to be the maintenance man, later to find out it could possible be the owner. He guided us backing in and our first attempt was spot on. Then he kept saying we needed over motioning which direction, so we got over. At this point I got out and and we was way to close to the electric box. He then threw his hands up in the air walked away. Went over to our friends waiting to back in their spot and to their escort saying how LONG a wait they were going to have while we got ourselves over more. Totally humiliating us right in front of them. Also lots of unessecary strict rules. Not to bash, but that's exactly what happened. 23 years of camping and never had that happen. - Ohioan
Aug 2017 - $78.00
Nice resort feeling, yet mainly woodsy camping sites. Ours backed up to the pool and made me happy. Bathrooms and showers are very nice as well as laundry room. Can walk to beach or take resort shuttle running every 15 minutes. Everyone very helpful and they work hard at keeping the place up. Oh and the snack bar, pizza was very good! - ThePattersons

Location, location, location. Five minutes walking distance from the main downtown area and the beach. Yes, it's run-down, kind of hap-hazardly run (they rented out my site while I was our driving one day and I returned to find a motorhome in my site but we worked it out). Bathrooms were clean, water hot. Utilities worked well, and if you ask when making a reservation, there are some sites where a satellite dish will work. No pull-throughs, would be challenging for big rigs. Sites are small and you are crammed in together, but the price is significantly less than other campgrounds in the area that are not as close to town. I would definitely stay here again. - ldukeb
Aug 2017 - $60.00
This is a very small and tightly packed campground. It is not big rig friendly, we are in a 36' motor-home and barely were able to fit. It is close to the beach and you can walk or ride a bike. They are a Passport America park but do not honor any discount until after Labor Day. Sewer is in an awkward place had to run the hose under the bus between the back tires. 20' of sewer hose and barely made connection. Due to trees we could not get a satellite signal. We were able to get over the air television. Would not stay here again. - SJake
Jul 2012 - $45.00
What this campground has going for it is that's it's about 10 minutes from Old Orchard Beach. And that's really the only reason to stay here. The sites are un-level, packed close together, and a bit run down. We didn't swim at the pool, but it looked well kept. Everyone was friendly and it was fairly quiet. - lopenzani

W/E50/S/C/I Level, wooded site with OK spacing between sites. Only downside is that internet access was poor. On Rt. 1 allows easy access to the southern Maine coast using I-95. Would definitely stay here again!!! - Teddi2
Oct 2017 - $30.00
Rate of $30.00 per night is with Passport America discount for full hook-ups, regular posted rate is $55.00 per night. Campground is a mixed community, cottages/cabins, seasonal and transients. The facility has a very appealing appearance and is located a short drive to Portland. Entrance to the park is a paved driveway that gives way to interior dirt roads once past the security gates. Our site, number 11, was back in and could be difficult depending on parked cars. All utilities are midway on left side of coach, easy to access and worked as intended. Pad is a mix of gravel and grass with patio area being grass. Our site was on a slight incline, just wide enough for slide-outs and awning, very deep and under a very large shade tree. Site included very nice picnic table and fire ring at rear of site. Bathrooms were clean, however there is a charge for using the shower. The facility has a large open green space and small playground for the children, 2 pools and hot tub. There is an extra charge for additional campers over 2 adults & 2 children and all guests. Verizon, Sprint and T Mobile all worked well. The owner was very friendly. At the Passport America rate this is a very good value for the area. We would stay here again if in the area. - ECM1
Oct 2017 - $30.00
Styled for 3 nights while visiting the area. As previously mentioned, they have very few overnight sites. FHUs worked as they should and were conveniently located. Cable channel selection was good. Wifi worked ok for the most part. Got a little slow every now and then. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I wouldn't consider it a destination campground, but definitely good if your in the area to see the sites. Restroom/bathhouse was nothing fancy, but clean. Water pressure in the showers could be better. $0.25 per 3 minutes for a shower. I would stay here again. - Kxbronco
