5 RV Parks near Stonewall, Manitoba
Jun 2018 - $30.00
Previous comments are no longer valid .... this has been cleaned up by the town, and is lovely place for "kids" the swimming area / next door (run by the town $$ entrance fee) - but it is supervised and has life guards. Nice enough AND if you like being / IN TOWN (5 min walk) this could be for you. - Medic73
Jul 2013 - $30.00
Very confusing signage. No one is in campground entrance building until 5 PM. Other hours, you must go into town to the park headquarters to register. Many permanent/seasonals--junky and not well kept. A dozen or so small sites for overnight stay. We would not stay here again. - MsLucy
Aug 2018 - $25.00
We were in the Water Tower section of the campground which is the closest the the beach. It is less than a 3 minute walk. Site was level side to side but not front to back. Interior roads are asphalt while the sites have gravel and grass. Showers ($1.00 for 3 minutes)and restrooms are close by as well as the wifi hotspot. The campground is right next to the town and offers a variety of restaurants, gift shops and grocery stores. During the summer months there are bands playing in the bandstand on the beach in the evening. - Fun finders
Aug 2018 - $19.00
Rate doesn't include the $5 CAD a day entrance fee. We had to wait to register as office staff were out inspecting the campground for vacancies. Most of the sites here are full hookup pull-throughs. Ours was an end site which afforded us plenty of space and privacy. However, it was not level and needed about six inches on the back wheels. All utilities worked fine, although the sewer outlet was not threaded. No OTA TV, but we had enough space between the trees to get satellite. The park Wi-Fi was weak and slow, but was good enough to submit this review. A nice boardwalk runs along the shoreline. An old water tower rises above the campground as a reminder of the days when this community attracted thousands of people to the beaches back in the early 1900s. This is an attractive and well located campground and we would definitely stay here again. - Onemoretrail
Aug 2017 - $25.00
Clean, large sites. Lots of room for larger units. We have an HDT and 40' 5th wheel and we have no problems in park or fitting in most sites. Access through town to get to park is a bit confusing and is on mostly residential streets but we had no problems making the corners. Just follow the brown campground signs from Hwy 9. Didn't see a sign at the final intersection but it's a right turn. Park pass is required (pass and reservation fee not included in rate). Reservations are strongly recommended (a must for weekends in summer). Lots of pull-thru sites as well of varying lengths but those were already booked this time. - SnowflakeMB
Jul 2017 - $22.00
Here now... the last weekend of July. Years ago you could not get a "pull thru" for the longer RV . Back in's could be quita chore ..... Well we're here again after 15 + years or so ... they have come up with a solution - sorta. Were in Area 3 (site 3) ... the pull throughs are long - kinda tight.. poorly thought out. Area that is usable ie: cleared of bush - set up chairs, sit around a fire is 1/10 the site size -- if you pull up as far as possible - (can't leave the truck hooked up as it now sticks way out onto the road ... so have to park it behind the camper, and the door still opens back of the cleared area. Looking around not all sites are as goofy as thisone - but many are. Site 6 would be much better with close access to off site water. (next time). Can't complain about the staff or the park itself its very quiet and safe. Site is pretty level - sandy soil and gravel. The BEACH is why everyone from everywhere comes from - no comparison that I know off close. WEST BEACH is muscle beach (haha) and EAST BEACH is family area. - Medic73
Aug 2016 - $22.00
Excellent Park. Lots to do. Water sports, biking , hiking. - J-H
Aug 2015 - $28.00
This park has one of North Americas best beaches! The back in sites tend to be a little short in length but the pull thrus are decent. There is 30 amp service but no water or sewer hookups. - Fun finders
Jul 2018 - $20.00
Have been back MULTIPLE times since the previous review. People stop reading my reviews .... the place is very popular now.
Last weekend (mid July 2018), sites 6, 7, 9 then 11, WOW great place, quiet, weather [not in the control of the campground - although you would never know it from "other" reviews] was either crazy HOT / HUMID thunderstorms / tornado-ish. or great.
Then fish Fly's (small flying - non biting bugs - live for 1 short time by the millions) they don't do anything other than fly up your nose)
Now one of our favorite spots ... have not had a BAD spot yet.
READ the previous review (by me), it details the layout of the campground.
NOT REALLY ANYTHING TO ADD OTHER THAN ITS GETTING MUCH MORE POPULAR. - Medic73
Jul 2016 - $20.00
In July, 2016 we camped at Hnausa Beach Campground for the second time. Have been in 19 and 37 (pull through). We had electricity but no water or sewer. There are no full service sites at this campground. We like it because it is somewhat remote and not very busy during the week. There is a fairly small sandy beach but it is enjoyable for children. There is a small playground and modern washrooms and showers. Firewood has been free.
The staff do an excellent job working every day on the grounds - cutting grass, picking up garbage and tidying sites as campers vacate. Other than swimming, sunbathing and using the small playground, there is not much else to do here. Riverton, Arborg and Gimli are fairly close so visiting them is an option.

May 2017 - $36.00
This is a relatively new campground that the owners are still developing. Very thoughtfully laid out. Interior roads are wide with no potholes or sharp corners. Brand new shower and washroom facilities. There is also a private beach that has fire pits for your use. The owners drive around all day either working on their property or looking after the needs of their guests(delivering firewood or ice). There is a large field with a playground and volleyball net for the kids. The only downside of this park is the lack wifi and cellphone service otherwise it is a real beautiful park in the making. We definitely will be back! - Fun finders
