   I don't think there is a great park in the metro DC area and this one is the same. It is older but with mostly good power, water, sewer, but not all sites. Also roads are falling apart, highly wooded so it is tough to get a spot where your satellite will work. Lots of monthlys, or even yearlys. Spots on the upper portion are for all realistic purposes not useful by RVs over 28'. Most are pretty close together, some very close together. Staff is nice but not special. It is convenient to drive into DC, Annapolis, and other tourist areas. Would stay again if in the area but would love to find something better (someone would have to build new) - Johnny xxxxx

   We stayed here 2 years ago when owners were new and had no problem getting in. This is the only non-military park anywhere in the area close to Annapolis. Barely got in this time so call well ahead. Disappointed to find it 99% permanent resisidents and although improved, not kept up as well as our last visit. Really wish they had more space for travelers.Very nice staff. - Traveler Anne

   Price was for the off season. Swimming pool wasn't open in early May. Lots of other stuff for kids. New owners have filled in some ruts but speeds in most of this large park are governed by the remaining potholes. Utilities were fine. Satellite accessibility is not available at most sites because of extensive foliage. Annapolis is more than ten miles away but this is the only nonmilitary park in the area. - Mtmoi
