This park is not set up for short-term visits. It is a seasonal park. The first site we were offered was too un-level to use. The site we requested was "taken", although it remained empty for the duration of our visit. There is no cable, no wifi, and we could not get any DirecTV satellite service from our site. The road is deeply potholed and the roads leading to the site are very narrow and curvy. Be careful. Not recommended. - SusanRon
Jul 2015 - $18.00
This park is very convenient to the Nashua, NH and Lowell, MA areas. It is a small park on a beautiful lake, and primarily caters to long term residents. The park offers few amenities, but the rates are very reasonable. Comcast cable and phone service is available on every site. The park is closely monitored by the owner via video cameras, and it is not unusual for the operators of the part to come out and meet incoming campers without being prompted. No pool, showers, or Wi-Fi is provided, but if you need a decently priced campground for a long term stay in this area, this park stands out. - tricotec

This is a really, really nice campground. We checked in and drove to site #106. The macadam roads were a little narrow, lined with trees, but not a problem for us. We got to the site and easily backed into a perfectly level and very large site. There was 30 & 50 amp electric on a pedestal and a water spigot for the site. It was a Sunday night, so there were not many others in the area where we were, but the sites were so large it wouldn't have mattered. We don't watch much TV when we camp, but our small roof-top antenna (not a dish) pulled in 59 channels. If it wasn't that we were headed to Maine, I would have enjoyed spending more time here. - Love To Travel 2
Jun 2011 - $12.00
The site we had was a pull through that we were able to pull into but were not able to pull out of safely with our 30' travel trailer. They had just finished installing water on every site but we were not charged for the fee for water. The playground was very modern. The kids had a great time riding their bikes. The swimming area didn't look too great and the pond was okay for canoeing with my 10 year old. We probably won't go back but do recommend it. - B. P. Donelan
Jul 2010 - $14.00
We've stayed here before and will again, since we have relatives nearby, and there are no other options as convenient for us. However, the sites are lovely but primitive. Parking is tight, so larger rigs should avoid. Outstanding locations for tents. - Tiger

Nice campground. People are pretty quiet. The Air Force base is right beside the campground. After you're here a few hours you don't notice the planes taking off and landing. Plenty of space for your RV. You do have to go through a neighborhood to get to the RV park. No playground or kid things to do. Laundry mat is okay. $1 a load. If you have a bigger load pay the extra .50. Or you'll be like me and rewashing your bed spread. *******Bring quarters. They won't give them to you here. There are chairs scattered all around the office to hang out. No firepit at the campsites but there is a fire pit across from office lights up at 7:00. Screened in area behind office for hanging out. Lots of seating. Microwave and coffee maker. Restrooms and showers look okay. We never used them. Small half basketball court. That's about it for things to do. Really great location for staying if your touring Boston or all the nearby National Park areas. We would stay here again. - RLKeller
Aug 2019 - $26.00
No frills. Not a destination park, but an okay location to use as a base to visit the Boston area. There are wooded sites that are W/E and open spaces that are FHU. The layout of the open spaces is very strange and when you pull in to the office you have passed the open spaces and either have to back up to the entrance road to drive to your site or drive through the wooded sites. Very bad layout. We were in the open sites area and they were fairly close together. All utilities worked fine and were located properly. They don't accept reservations, which in my humble opinion, is ridiculous. Personally, I hate going to a RV park without reservations. You drive through a neighborhood to reach the park. There is nothing special about the park, but nothing bad either. We would go back but only if we were in a bind to find a place. - jomark
Aug 2019 - $30.00
We stayed here in a 43"' motorhome. We found out once there that the CG isn't really laid out for big rigs. We did get a pull thru that fit us, but wasn't that easy getting around inside the park. First off, you drive through a neighborhood to get to the Famcamp (which isn't on the base). The trees on the street and at the CG had low branches that hit the top of our coach. Once we got into our site, everything was fine. Our neighbor had to pull his awning in so we could leave to make a turn. This is an older Famcamp and needs updating to truly be big rig friendly. - Bdunk

Trees, lots of trees, especially pines, so if you don't like the smell of pines, you won't like this place. The interior roads are tight, as was the site we had. Service was good, and they had someone lead us to our site. Hard to tell, with the pine needles, but it looks like some of the roads are paved and some of them are dirt. Our site looked like it was mostly dirt, covered with pine needles. Getting level and getting connected was no problem. Cable TV worked well, so we didn't try to use the OTA antenna. Satellite wouldn't work at all, due to the trees. Wi-fi worked well, as did out AT&T cell phones. - Bbtj
Sep 2019 - $35.00
Not a park for big rigs due to tight turns, narrow roads, and trees. Difficult to back a 34-foot fifth wheel into my site. The commuter rail stations to Boston are not close; drive east or west to nearest stations was 20-30 minutes. - grandflic

OMG! DO NOT STAY HERE! I'm not impressed with the poor customer service. We were given a site for a 28' trailer that we could barely fit on with weeds up to our knees! Not even trimmed before we arrived and no fire pit! I wasn't going to do a review until we were hassled to go to the office to pay $6 for a day guest!! We understand rules, but it's the way it was enforced! Go elsewhere this place is a waste of money!! - Kbella
Jul 2018 - $30.00
If you're not a long term resident, or here to play golf (9 hole par 3), this is not a great park. Even then I wouldn't rate it very high. The roads and sites are very tight with tree limbs that should have been trimmed long ago. They made a big deal in the 'rules' about not trimming limbs since they will do that, but obviously they don't. Our site had a speed limit sign that was poorly placed right next to it. Even though the overall site was a decent size & level, all of the trees made it feel very closed in. The fire pit was an old washing machine tub and not really usable. We did manage to find a hole between the trees to receive Dish satellite but I wouldn't count on it elsewhere. There was NO CELL OR WIFI reception. The original part of the park is not designed for big rigs, but there is a new expanded area which is much larger and better laid out....unfortunately they didn't put us in there. The train in the distance was not too noticeable. Since there aren't really any amenities, we thought the place was not a good value. - Hands For Him

I really liked this park. Super friendly and helpful staff. The golf course will challenge any golfer Tight course which rewards straight shots. Greens are fast and true. Be sure to make a reservation if arriving in a motorhome . - Dave Kain

We stayed for one month. Camping area was grassy; had electric, water, sewer. Internet service; no cable. Staff and other campers friendly. Pay showers, key for restroom. Nice beach and lake. Close to many attractions in N.H., Maine, Massachusetts. - pamMJR

Clean Beach, beautiful little lake and swimming area. Picnic and grilling area right on the beach. Gated entrance for security, lots of seasonal folks who are very nice to weekend campers. Owners are very nice and helpful. Close to other NH attractions. - clundberg99
Jul 2008 - $40.00
Older campground with only about 14 Camper sites and 7 tent sites. The rest are seasonals. The pond was big and had a nice beach that was open to the public. The staff seemed like they were just doing their job. Our site was cramped for our 30' travel trailer. They could have spaced the campers apart better that were their this weekend. We were put between two campers that new each other and would cut thru our site, even under our awning. There were empty sites available. This campground is very close to Canobie Lake Amusement Park which is were we spent our Saturday. This is one reason I would go back there again, but that's it. - B. P. Donelan

This is not one of your fancier parks, which was fine for us. There's mainly seasonal folks there. But they and the owners made us feel very welcome. They have a nice pool and very nice covered pavillion area where the owners provided a free breakfast on July 4th and an awesome potluck on the 6th along with a great fireworks shows. The owners couldn't do enough for you. The bathrooms aren't much. But overall it was a great place to stay, close to anything you would need. If in the area we would definitely stay there again. - Foochyfi

STAY SOME WHERE ELSE is my best advice. The Brook as they call it looks like a running sewer. The grass is so tall you can't get anywhere where close to the edge. Snakes in the high grass, WET all the time. You can see into the back bathrooms thru the outside boards. They tell you you have to MOW the parks grass around your site. Just let a rock hit someone and see who gets sued -YOU. The new owners are very hateful to people. There are slabs of sharp concrete in the walking path to the sewer brook. - joecampers
Aug 2017 - $42.00
Owners were very nice, but: - They could have told us the road was closed because of roadworks. We did not see a sign saying it was open for access. We learned this when we spoke to the police officer at the other end 0f a long, hair-raising detour through narrow, twisting and poorly lit back roads, which added half an hour and several miles to our journey. - The access road just inside the park is in urgent need of repair. It's very bumpy. - There may be lead in the fresh water. However, gallon jugs of spring water are available free at the office. - Unbelievably, there is no store on-site and it's a fair walk to the nearest convenience store. How difficult would it be to install vending machines at least? Fortunately we were well stocked up. - There were a lot of carelessly parked cars, making the narrow roads even more difficult to negotiate. - Our plot was tiny and we needed assistance to back in. There was an eight-foot plunge just behind our vehicle. We will not be returning. - AlisonS

Very wooded park, good roads and level sites. Boat launch available and fresh water pond on property with beach. If you want cable TV, you need to borrow a converter box (Xfinity) with a $25 refundable deposit. No OTA signal to speak of. No WiFi but good Verizon cell coverage. Mostly seasonals in travel trailers and park models and a handful of transient sites. Try to get in the sites numbered 25-29.
We stayed here to visit the grand kids who live nearby. They came to visit for a day and we sat on the beach then had dinner. Visitors pay $5 per adult and $4 per kid under 14. I thought this was a little steep. The beach wasn't all that good.
We decided we'd go back again but we'd try to get the sites on the edge by the beach (25-29). These were more secluded and in better shape. - jplante4

This campground was purchased by new owners maybe a couple of years ago. Nice couple. Sites are okay, nothing fancy. Lot of seasonals. You cannot use your own washer/dryer due to their septic system. Do have washers/dryers on site. Nice pool but we didn't use it. No cable but we were able to use our satellite. Before booking, ask about your site since there are quite a few trees. Quiet overall. - Lover of Cairns
May 2017 - $50.00
New owners here are very nice and friendly. Campground is very quiet this time of year. There are train tracks nearby but this did not bother us, we love hearing trains. Sites are large. Many sites are seasonal and campers were all working on cleaning up the sites or adding decks etc. Pool looked nice and the owners were busy getting the place ready for the season. All the hook ups were great and modern. Bathhouse was older but very clean. - Happy Camper X2

Great park. I look for full hook-ups, cable and wifi, and this park delivered all. The wifi is excellent but can be unstable here and there. The staff is very professional and courteous. Although the park was about 90% full during the three weeks I was here, it was generally very quiet. The sites are closer together than I would like, but that's typical. Lots of trees and a pleasant hiking trail to a nearby lake. I would definitely come back. - CamperChris4
Sep 2019 - $42.00
Nifty little RV park surrounded by forest lands. Just 54 sites and only 4 of them are pull-throughs. Sites are fairly level concrete pads with grass on both sides. Sites are relatively close together, but not close enough to be bothersome. Hook-ups are located approx. midway of the site. Interior roads are gravel and somewhat narrow, making some of the turns on the sharp side. But with careful maneuvering, bigger rigs can navigate successfully. Good news is that the park is far enough out into the countryside that it is very quiet. The bad news is that the park is far enough out in the countryside that it is a 20-30 minute drive for fuel and/or grocery shopping. The park is swing gate protected and the park owners/managers operate the incoming gate after you've checked in. After that you need to use the O/R reader on the back of your check-in receipt to gain admittance. Check-in, by the way, was quick and easy and done with a sincere smile. We were there over Labor Day weekend (a 3-day minimum stay, as are all holiday weekends) and the park was full, but quiet. It really is a very nice little park and we'd stay there again. - boardman
Jul 2019 - $41.00
Great place, great owners. We had to take an unscheduled trip to New Hampshire from North Carolina for family. We reserved for one week. Then after we arrived we realized that we would be there longer. We spent a month at Field and Stream. The owners told us that they would move us around to different sites and that they would find a spot for us. This was one of the friendliest RV parks we have ever stayed at. We were there over the Fourth of July and the owners had a cook out for the campers...with awesome fireworks after it got dark...the food was great. We are going back next summer for 2 weeks to see family and the campground cookout. There is lake access about a mile way (Potanipo Pond). A couple of more things: The bathrooms are clean, the laundry room is very nice and the prices are low for wash and dry. If you drop off your empty propane at the fill station they will bring back the cylinder filled up to your site. This is one of the few RV parks/campground that we have stayed that the owners will do just about anything to make your stay enjoyable. Verizon cell service was marginal. The paid for the weekly rate less our Good Sam discount. - wahooo
