Normandy Farms campground is one of the best campground we have stayed at. The park is spotless and the people that work there are very helpful. We can't say enough about this campground. We camped at Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

A very large family oriented RV park, lots of kids, bicycles, etc. Yet in spite of all the kids it was quiet and very pleasant, probably because this place is huge and the kids have room to roam. Multiple pools, basketball, baseball, tennis, bike park, softball, lodge, restaurant, this place has many amenities. Halfway between Boston and Cape Cod makes day trips doable. They even have a concierge to help plan out your days. Big rig friendly, and most sites are level. My only two complaints; 1. many sites are wooded and like ours we could not deploy our satellite dish. They provide cable with lots of channels which is a great alternative but the cable signal is standard definition so all channels are snowy and the lower channels it's like watching through a blizzard. Guy came out to check my signal after I complained and he told me my picture quality was as good as it was going to get. 2. The map shows premium sites, but not all premium sites are the same, some have concrete patios, some also have a hedge privacy divider, some are satellite friendly. You cannot tell from the map, so I suggest calling and have them explain what you are getting. I would have selected a different site had I known how many types of choices they had. We camped at Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Dear Lucy, Thank you for your glowing review, it was exciting to experience this visit through your eyes. I appreciate the balance of your review, you loved most things but saw an area or two where we could improve. That's exactly what we need to know! We are planning to switch our TV from Cable to Satellite next season when our contract is up so that we can offer high definition. When booking online, you can select certain amenities that you are looking for you your site, such as a cement patio, but we currently do not have satellite as an option so that is a great suggestion! Again, sincere thank you for the opportunity to learn more about what it takes to make a good experience even better. Sincerely, Lisa

We have been on the road for 4 months and this is the nicest rv park we have found! We finally found an rv resort that actually lives up to the term "resort"! This is a very clean, well kept resort. The sites are level gravel pads and grassy sites with hedges in between the sites for privacy and they hide the sewer hook ups. The people who work in the park are very friendly and helpful, they greet you whenever you are walking through the resort. There are several pools and hot tubs, even an indoor pool and hot tub. They have a very helpful concierge service, and they escort you to your site. We camped at Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This large, attractive park is the nicest campground we have ever been to. The park is well designed with a large variety of sites (back-in, pull through, FHU, W/E only, tent sites, cabins, yurts, etc.) with or without cable. All sites are gravel and very wide, with fire ring and picnic table. Some of the pull through sites have a concrete patio. The majority of sites appear to be level. Lots of trees in and around the park, but none that would interfere with slides/awnings or as obstacles getting in/out of sites. Interior roads were gravel and easy to navigate, with paved section at the park entrance. We liked the online reservation system, as it had comments about different sites in the park (close to pool, busy area, next to service road, etc.) that were spot on. We stayed in site T24, a back-in site that was quite level but a bit on the short side. However, we had no issues parking our tow vehicle on the side of our rig and still had plenty of room for our sitting area. Lots of amenities here including 4 pools (1 indoor), several hot tubs, basketball and tennis court, catch and release pond, 2 playgrounds, horseshoes, shuffleboard and cafe. Too many other amenities to list! There are areas/activities for everyone including adult only areas (and adult only pool!) which we appreciate. Well stocked store onsite which sells gifts, snacks, ice, firewood, rv supplies and even milk and eggs. Bathroom/shower areas were well appointed and kept spotlessly clean. Several laundry areas. Quiet hours are observed, campers are respectful, and rules are followed, which makes for a wonderful, relaxing camping environment for all. Very friendly staff. Utilities worked well, but the park requires the use of a pressure reducer as water pressure is 80-100 psi. Verizon signal was fair/good. We highly recommend this park and can't wait to return! We camped at Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Walmart supercenter is 8 miles from the park. Gillette stadium and Bass Pro Shops are less than 3 miles away. Small casino just down the road. Make reservations far in advance as the park fills up quickly especially during the summer months.

This is by far the best park we have stayed. Sites are not jammed nd you have plenty of room between sites. Staff was great and very helpful. Four pools and two hot tubs. Each site as picnic table and fire ring. Hook ups work and were at the back of our coach. Weekends they are full with lots of activities for the kids and grown ups. During week not full but the park was quite even though it was full with lots of young people. Office gave us a paper on how and where to catch subway for going into Boston. This is the finest RVer park we have ever stayed in. Rate listed was for Memorial Day weekend but I believe represents their peak season rate as well. Off peak is more like $75. Four pools, hot tub, beautiful buildings and grounds, and numerous activities for young and old. All RVers should experience a park like this at least once. One of the nicest resorts we have ever stayed at. It had everything. If was mostly empty during the week, but on the weekend it was packed. Seemed like it was families from the cities. Even though very busy, it was very quiet overnight. We were on site B11. It was very long and level. Great amount of pea-gravel. 2 sewer locations for your choice of convenience. 68 cable channels. Verizon was weak but doable. Park WIFI was terrible. We camped at Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Thank you so much for your fabulous review, we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Normandy Farms. This time of year the park really comes alive on weekends, it's truly gratifying for us to see our guests of all ages creating such positive memories. I do appreciate your comment on wifi, please know that anytime you experience an issue that doesn't meet your expectations simply place a call to the Reception Center to give us an opportunity to remedy things. I just reached out to our Facilities Manager with your comment and he had some quick and easy solutions (starting with resetting the node in that area). Again, many thanks for choosing Normandy Farms and I hope we see you again.

Very large park, gravel roads and large gravel spaces many with concrete patios. Spaces are very open with lots of room. Several pools including an indoor pool. Very nice personnel. They lead you to your space. Number code must be used for incoming or going out. Very high water pressure (80-100), must have a regulator. Nice roads inside park. Nice easy access roads to get to park. Very weak WiFI. Many spaces are open enough for satelite but many are surrounded by trees (their site map is very accurate showing the trees). This place is IMMACULATE. And everything works. Nothing seems out of place or out of service. We were passing through and planned one night, but we ended up staying a second night and booking a week for next year. There were lots of activities for kids and adults. The staff were very engaging and all seem to like working there. The dog park is amazing and well maintained. There were too many things to do to include everything in the review. Next year I am going to learn to play Frisbee Golf. One thing I would change is adding time for adult swimming - at least at the indoor pool and hot tub. Currently it is from 8-9 PM and then virtually everything shuts down. It would be nice if they added another hour to 10 PM or something like 8:30 to 10 PM.

Book early. Reservations are difficult to get. We camped at Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

After having a wonderful time in 2017 we decided to rebook for 2018. We returned to a completely different atmosphere. Normandy farms has turned into an excessively rule bound campground where kids cannot be kids and adults can only whisper after 11 pm or face the wrath of two grey haired gentlemen who police the sites on a mission to "stomp out" family fun! While I understand and agree, there must be rules to promote a safe environment for all, as long as someone is not being hurt, offended or put in danger, there is no reason a rule should exist. Here are just a few examples of what we experienced or witnessed during our stay: Kids being kicked out of the pool for yelling "cannonball" they didn't do a cannonball, just yelled the word - kids being told they can't play Marco Polo because it is somehow offensive. Someone please enlighten me on this one? - kids being yelled at for having a super ball in the pool - the bike rack at the main lodge being stalked by camp staff when the sun goes down so they can yell at the kids for riding their bikes back to their campsites after evening activities...ridiculous. Adults being told no music after 11, when they didn't even have music playing. I guess his hearing might need attention. Adults being told they have to whisper during quiet hours. Bottom line: if you're a retiree who wants lights out at sundown, and children not to have fun, then this is the place for you!! If you have a family and want to enjoy the facilities without the annoyance of cranky old men who think they are camp cops, don't waste your time!! They do get high marks for amenities and cleanliness. Well maintained, level an spacious. We camped at Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed in the "new" section which had no shade. The site was good size. We were told seasonal sites were together. They neglected to mention they were surrounded by tent sites. Many rules listed. None followed. Beware of gun range next door if you have dogs. This should be listed for pet owners. Pools are not so clean. Kids in street unwilling to move for cars. Overall it is a well kept park but it is not a relaxing atmosphere. We camped at Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Thanks so much for your review and your compliment on the cleanliness of the park. While we work very hard to earn your kind words it is of equal importance to us that our guests enjoy all that the park has to offer. I appreciate your comment about the rifle range in the neighboring town (miles away), while you can hear it on a clear day, your pets are not in any danger. Regarding tent sites, as you pointed out this is an area of the park where the tent sites are tucked into the wooded perimeter which looks out onto the rv sites. This is a great option for folks camping together when one has an rv and the other a tent. I hope the rest of your stay was a great one and thanks again. Sincerely, Lisa Pascale
