This is a small section of the casino parking lot. There are paved sites with grass in between. They aren't anything special but they do the trick. The casino is open 24 hours that's where the bathrooms are. The hotel has a pool, Jacuzzi and sauna which are available to Campers as well. You can't beat the price for FHU. Ask for what you need, they are very accommodating. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

My wife and I weren't expecting much, and that's exactly what we got: A place to park with full hookups. The "campground" consists of a row of slots along one side of the casino's parking lot. The sites are paved, but the pavement in several of the sites nearest the highway is uneven and fairly steeply sloped. During our visit, a few days following heavy rains, our site and a couple of others were partially covered by mud. However, $15 for full hookups is hard to beat and we stopped here primarily to support the local economy by playing a little video poker. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The tribe operates two campgrounds in the area. The one where we stayed is on the edge of the casino parking lot. The other, about two miles away, is on a point of land jutting into Lake Superior and is much more attractive.

Nothing special, but good price and easy place to stay. Close to other spots but not too close. Good for over night or a couple of days. If staying longer stay at the Tribes campground on the lake about 2 miles away. Same pricing but also found it muddy after recent rains. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Great place to stop for an overnight or short stay. The 12 campsites are located along the edge of the casino parking lot. All are paved, back-in sites with a picnic table and grass in between, water, sewer, 30 amp power, good wifi, and a trash can. We also got a coupon for a free drink and $5 casino money everyday. There is enough green space around the property to walk a dog. The bathrooms inside the casino are very nice and there is also a bowling alley, indoor pool that campers can use, and a restaurant. The area seemed safe as it is well lit, patrolled by security, and only a short distance from the casino. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Paved, level back-in sites with good grass spacing, picnic table, full hookups, all for $20 night - and you get $5 in free play and a drink coupon each day. Join the player's club and get another $10 in free play. No cable or OTA TV, but no restrictions to satellite. The hotel WiFi worked well in site 10 most of the time, and Verizon cell/data worked well. Friendly casino staff and decent restaurant. The only drawback to staying here is that there's not much in the area, otherwise a great stay. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The casino is smokey, but has a decent selection of slots and some table games. Nothing much else is in the area; for shopping, it's necessary to drive to Houghton, with plenty of shopping and dining options.

Nice place to stay for a few days. The $5 coupon & free drink per person daily brings the actual daily charge down to zero, until you play the machines. They are not what I would call "loose". Although they advertise cable they don't have it. Could not get any channels on the antenna either. We stayed in site 11 and WiFi was good. Although they don't take reservations I have never seen this park full. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

The RV parking sites are blacktop extending off the casino parking lot. We were on site 10 and it was level. Except for casino, restaurant and hotel traffic in the lot it was quiet. Every day they will give you a guest package good for $5 gambling and a free drink. Pretty good deal when it is only $20 a night to stay. After some rain sites 1 thru 4 had some standing water. Verizon and DirecTV worked well. Each site had its own trash receptacle. We stayed for 12 days. They don't take reservations but the 12 spaces never filled. We would definitely stay here again. Tips for other Campers:

This is a great base area to explore the Keweenaw peninsula. Walmart is about 25 miles in Houghton. The Lucky 7 restaurant in the casino is very good and most of the portions are big enough for two people. Irene's Pizza in Baraga was a bit pricey but good and no credit cards.

As detailed in other reviews, this park is parking spaces off to the side of the main parking lot. Full hookups are provided with most sites having 30 amp electric. Also note that utilities are oddly placed with some on left side and the next site would be on the right side. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

All sites are back in and odd #'s have to cross over for water. Asphalt parking lot, pick your site and then register at the hotel desk. There is no CTV and no HDTV. There are hotel and casino restrooms but nothing dedicated to the RV park and no showers. Garbage hadn't been picked up in a long time. There is no room for your tow vehicle or toad on the site so must park in the parking lot. There is grass between the RV sites and each has a picnic table. This is a casino and weekends brings late noise. An okay location to do the Keweenaw Peninsula from. We would stay here again, if in the area. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

NPS season for Keweenaw Peninsula is pretty much July and August. Most locations we went to don't open until end of June.

Great park, price is right. Previous reviews are correct as to details, ie, utilities for drivers side on even numbered sites, 10 sites, campgrounds on edge of casino parking lot, etc. BUT now the wifi is strong and active, very good. No reservations, first in, stays, but we were there for 5 nights and only one 5th wheel was there for a couple of nights while we were there. You have complete access to casino motel swimming pool, sauna & exercise room. A really good deal. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to go to copper mine country in Keweenaw Peninsula, just a little drive north. Eat a pasty, we didn't know what they were, but tried them at Connies in Calumet. Hers are award winning and good!

This was our second year in a row staying here. See my 7/11 review. We again had a FHU, back-in site with 70+ channel cable TV. Again, there are no restrooms (other than those in the casino) or shower facilities. The only new things I want to add are 1) We arrived after a heavy overnight rain and the first 5 sites had large puddles on the asphalt pad and 2) their hotel Wi-Fi has a sign in page but I did not check to see if we could use it. As I noted last year, only the even numbered sites have the electric on the driver side. Good overnight stop on the U.P. or as a inexpensive base camp for sight-seeing on the Keweenaw Penninsula. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good place for the price. Has cable TV, but no Wi-Fi. Can probably go into the hotel lobby and get a hot spot. No shower/bath facilities, you can go into the casino and use those restrooms. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate is for 50 amp FHU back-in site, no discounts. RV park is a row of back-in sites at the edge of one side of the asphalt casino parking lot. Sites are fairly level, and the area is wide open which allows excellent satellite reception at all of the sites. No reservations, all sites first come, first served. Was never even half full during our three night stay. Biggest negative is the fact not all sites have 50 amp service. Sites farthest from the road did have 50 amp. Registration is at the Casino hotel on the opposite side of the complex. Decent park for the price, so we would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Most of the previous reviews have covered the basics: FHU, back-in, paved sites with 70+ channel cable TV. They are trying to get their Wi-Fi to work for the RV park area. We couldn't connect in the evening, but were able to do so in the morning. As noted by others, there are no bathrooms or any other typical RV park amenity. The biggest negative for me was that one electric box is shared by 2 sites, so that only the even numbered sites have the electric on the driver's side. Also, several of the sites have some depressions in the asphalt parking pad that make them look unlevel. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great, inexpensive place to go. Nice level sites with good power, water, sewer and cable TV. Not all the sites are 50 amp as advertised. No frills but good price. We camped at Ojibwa Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.
