This was a private park that recently opened up to Passport America and Escapees members. It's quiet, clean and the manager is friendly and more than helpful. We used 2 trailer sites as a pull-through. The only drawback we found was no sewer hookups. No shower house, only outhouses. Meeting room is very nice with some kitchen area. There are some picnic tables but not one at each site. Access to the park is via some dirt roads, quality of road surface varies during the year. We camped at Travel Trailer Club of the Midwest - Bellevue campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Village of Bellevue is reasonably close. Local market is small but clean. Highly recommend the local Riverside Cafe (drive into town, right at the light, cross the river). Good food, decent portions, reasonable prices. Homemade (by the owner) pies.

Overall Rating:

We averaged $12 / night w/ Passport America discount ($24 without) for W / E50. Can't beat that rate!!! Quiet campground with a lot of space between sites. The only negative is there is no way to get to the campground without traveling a mile or so on dirt and dusty roads. DO NOT APPROACH THE CAMPGROUND ON BABCOCK ROAD OFF OF ROUTE 78. This is a dirt road with closely spaced ridges across the road for its full 1 mile length. Had to slow to 5 MPH and even then the entire RV shook terribly! There are a couple other dirt roads to use that are in much better shape. We camped at Travel Trailer Club of the Midwest - Bellevue campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Air Zoo Museum in Kalamazoo has many old airplanes and interactive exhibits. Also exhibits for Apollo program and D-Day at Normandy. Gilmore Car Museum nearby has over 300 pristine antique cars.

What a wonderful place to stay and very peaceful. Bill who runs the place is so nice and helpful. Our truck broke down and he went to Battle Creek and picked him up. Everyone was so helpful. The campground is so nice. We will stay here again when passing through. The price is great. A hidden treasure. We camped at Travel Trailer Club of the Midwest - Bellevue campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice little park with great hookups. Good playground and activities. Not used much anymore but well maintained. A few pullthroughs but if not busy you can park crossways on a couple of sites. Very nice managers. 1 miles gravel road in. Price is right and we would stay here again. We camped at Travel Trailer Club of the Midwest - Bellevue campground in a Fifth Wheel.

So beautiful here. Spacious and well maintained. A couple of miles of dirt roads, but worth it. The most quiet RV park we've stayed in. The name says travel trailers, but mostly big rigs and big travel trailers and fifth wheels. We would definitely stay here again in our 40' fifth wheel. Back-ins, but lots of room so no problems. No wash areas so you have to be self contained unless you don't mind outhouses. The only thing I missed was a pool. It said WiFi in the Passport America book, but it never showed up for us. We camped at Travel Trailer Club of the Midwest - Bellevue campground in a Fifth Wheel.
