Fantastic stay! Owner is wonderful; helpful & courteous. Haven't seen such a clean place in a long while. Will definitely go back & recommend to others. - WeBCMPING
Jul 2012 - $27.00
Wonderful campground -quiet, secluded, large sites and fabulous bathrooms/showers. My husband commented that in our 2 years of full-timing they were the best showers yet! AT&T cell service - 1 bar, used our Verizon air card for decent connection and Verizon cell service was pretty good. Mostly level spots. Sites included an in-ground fire pit and table. There is a small pond with a circulating waterfall in it that people could swim in with a very small beach. There is a game room with 2 pool tables, only one of which was working, air hockey and some other games. They also have a slightly covered area for groups with picnic tables. The campground host/maintenance guy was great. The office has interesting hours - opening at 10 but they were never in the office when we came by. They are a Good Sam park but when I called to make a reservation I was told they had no discounts and my credit card was charged the full rate. Upon our arrival there was a big Good Sam sign at the front of the park and when I asked for my discount one of the women at the desk told me I could only use that when I purchased my membership, the other woman corrected her and then the first got kind of indignant that I actually wanted that small amount ($2.70) refunded. We stayed an extra night and went in twice to try to pay and request the discount again to be credited but at our check out they had yet to run our credit card for the second night. I hope when they do run it they apply the $5.40 two night discount! We would definitely return. - Bill & Debby's Wild Ride
Jun 2019 - $15.00
We needed an inexpensive campground for 2 weeks, and this is a Passport America, (no restrictions except during annual Fair). We were greeted by by Ryan, grounds manager. No other campers were present. The power posts have water and 30 amp. All sites are mowed grass and OK level. Plenty of shopping with many major brands for shopping. Gas was .20 cheaper. Several museums and attractions within 50 miles, including Gerald Ford museum and library in Grand Rapids (67 miles). Horse shows at the fairgrounds 3 nights a week. Flea market Wednesdays at Fairgrounds. Interior roads are hard gravel and or paved. - john rv
Aug 2016 - $15.00
Nice fairgrounds park, mainly level sites. No problem with the power but never more than 7 units here the whole week. Available dump station.
Stores within a few miles. There is a casino nearby. Some road noise but not bad.
Flea market on Wednesday morning but not many vendors. - mrracechaser

Isabella County Fairgrounds offers water and electric sites, first come first serve, except during the fair. Pick up an envelope from the board at the entrance and put it in the mail slot in building J. This building, by the way, is at the other end of the fairgrounds. So if you aren't up for a bit of a hike, consider paying before you get settled. It's an honor system, and they accept Passport America. Most of the sites have 30amp service. There are about 8 sites on the back row that have 50 amp service. All sites are mostly level on grass which is well mowed, at least when we were there. Interior roads are gravel. There is one site 59, which we fortunately snagged, with partial shade. The rest of the sites are out in the open. Easy access getting in and out. The only ding is the road noise as the campground is situated at the corner of two very busy roads. A sign indicates that there is a flea market every Wednesday May-Sept, for those who are interested in that sort of thing. We camped here in a motorhome. There were only two other RVs in the campground. There is a dump. - Free
May 2018 - $27.00
Very friendly family oriented camp. Kids and dogs loved it. Camp was mowed and clean. - Boomlake
Sep 2019 - $49.00
This park was very convenient to our route. Although it is across from a small airport, it was very quiet. The park itself is okay but like others have said, it really don't seem to warrant the price they are charging. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. There is a beautiful lake and canoes, kayaks and paddle boats are available to rent. Utilities worked well but the space we were given was difficult to back into for a big rig. The site numbers are on poles near the front of the site, which makes it difficult to back in some of the sites. - Danni
Jul 2019 - $77.00
Spacious, pull through sites. Concrete pads with full hook-ups. Quiet. - gfarmcafe
Jun 2019 - $74.00
Pricey for the area. Higher rates on weekends. Nice cement pads and manicured lawns. Nice facilities for children with volley ball, swimming, fishing, and boat rentals plus water park at casino hotel. Not much to do in the area if you aren't into casinos. There is free shuttle to casino. Full services however we requested satellite friendly site but had no reception. Poor Verizon service if you use phone hotspot for internet access. They do have WiFi but I cannot use for my work access. Pull through sites only have 30 amp service...50 amp only available on back in sites. Lots are very small. Nice picnic tables and friendly service. - wickyvic
Aug 2016 - $20.00
There are a number of sites with Gray Water facilities. They also have a dump station.
Remarkable beauty, and dynamite fishing on both lakes!! This one is a must see hidden gem!! - Mac Workz
Aug 2019 - $33.00
The park is well taken care of, the people running the park were very friendly and helpful. It is not a fancy park, but very clean. - Larry Burkett
Oct 2017 - $20.00
We were told to find an empty spot and then tell the office. Some of the sites look like pull thrus but are really pull in back out because of the placement of the utilities. Our site was level. There is a dump. - har-fl
Jul 2012 - $18.00
We love this little campground. It is a hidden gem in Mt Pleasant. It is beautiful with its tall trees and city park right next to it. A great place to relax and go to the Soaring Eagle Casino. You can take the shuttle or just drive 3 miles to it. - Gypsies11
Jul 2011 - $17.00
A little rustic, but this park offers large shaded 50 amp pull through sites in a beautiful wooded setting. In spite of all the tall trees, we had no problem getting satellite service. Posted price was $18 per night but the guy in the office must have thought I deserved a senior discount because he only charged us $17. I've stayed at campgrounds that weren't nearly as nice and charged over twice as much. - Same Old Bob
Jul 2018 - $10.00
It's been a long time since someone reviewed this park and I can assure you it is a nice park. The park has paved interior roads. The sites are large, gravel, level and have a concrete patio. All sites are FHU and lots of them are pull-through. It is a pick-your-own-site place. Utilities worked fine but long run to sewer at the back of the site. The free Wifi was very slow but there are pay options. Verizon signal minimal but worked. All buildings appear to be pretty new and in very good condition. New huge pool. Laundry facility is nice with typical prices. We were here on Coast to Coast. We would definitely stay here again. - cwier
Aug 2011 - $20.00
The campground was for sales and needs some updating. The park is well maintained, but the office is much in need of repair. There is no Wi-Fi and 3G service is spotty at best. - Softball29
