If you haven't been to this campground you should do it once. Just can't describe how nice it is. Very peaceful, clean and charming. Had some negatives this year. One, it was so late in the season the camp store was closed. We purchased a gator load of wood, and the wood was terrible. Green, wouldn't burn, smoked. It was terrible firewood for $40.00. It just seemed like since we were there the last week in September/October they were already closed in their minds. Showers are the push button type we all hate and luke warm. After seeing the restrooms that were very very clean was kinda disappointed with the shower area. Outside of that of course the place is a 5 star campground and I do appreciate all the work they put into the place. You should visit for sure at least one time. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Motorhome.

Large park right on Lake Huron. Sites were a little too close, but able to walk to lake from our site. Only one shower house with flush toilet ! Had vault toilets in other areas. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground offers over a mile of shoreline with views of the Mackinac Bridge. Fire pits along the beach are a great way to watch the sun go down and the lights begin to illuminate the Mighty Mackinac Bridge. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Motorhome.

Very large campground with a variety of accommodations: tent sites, cabins, a lake house and RV sites. Everything available from FHU to dry camping. Our back-in site was grass, fairly level and spacious. We had trees on both sides and had extra room in front of our site. Water connection is in the back so bring plenty of hose. No cable but OTA was fine. Free wi-fi, picnic table, fire ring. Right on Lake Huron across from Mackinac Island. Park has a pool, mini golf, bike rental and a store. Plenty of room to walk the dog or ride your bike. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in a "Bridge View" Site. You could see the Mackinaw Bridge from our site, however the sites are very narrow, only 2o feet wide. Advertised WiFi was only free for email or web surfing. Watching any video content required "Upgraded" Service for an additional fee. Campground was quiet and well maintained. However, having neighbors just a few feet away is not conducive to privacy. Both ATT and Verizon Cell Phones work here. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed for a week on site #774, which was considered a "large" site for which we paid extra. The site was decent, but wouldn't call it large. Fairly close to neighbors, but a thin privacy hedge between most sites. It was plenty long enough for our 40 foot 5th wheel and long bed dually truck. Check-in was fast and efficient, but the hostess was anything but friendly. A little smile on your face and a friendly greeting would go a long way to making your guests feel welcome. Our site was did not have a view of the lake, but there was a generous width of nice grass with some swings, benches and firepits scattered along the mile or so of beach. Great place to watch the bridge! All utilities worked well. We never tried the Wi-Fi, so can't comment on the speed as we used our phone hotspots or our mifi to connect. Verizon and AT&T both had great connectivity here. The nearest restrooms to our site were the vault type toilets with no sinks, so we did not use them. The park has the Mackinaw island ferry free shuttle come through several times a day. They will take you and your bikes to the docks. Buy tickets at the camp store for a small discount. Enjoyed the stay and will definitely come back! We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here a number of years but this trip will most likely be our last. They have changed the way they do their reservations for Holidays (speaking of Labor Day in this case) and they have no respect for long time campers. In years past everyone would wait in line on Sunday before Labor Day and submit your site request form with your 3 top choices. If you wanted a specific site you knew to be there early, have some comradeship with fellow campers and wait for the windows to open for reservations. It was part of the Labor Day experience. You could have some control over what site you had the following year. No longer! Now you must wait until the weekend following Labor Day and do it on the Internet. To make matters worse, if you have a group of 6 (sites) or more you can reserve on Saturday if you are a group of 5 (sites) or less you must wait until Sunday to reserve. Theoretically, all BridgeView sites could be taken by Saturday and someone who has been there for years could be locked out. I brought my concerns to the attention of the management with little response. They don't think that is "likely" to happen. Now you reserve your site by type (BridgeView etc) and it's supposedly pot luck where you wind up. Also the rates this year were $86 a night. 30 Amp service, NO cable TV and OTA tv is sketchy at best. Internet connections are essentially non-existent. We stayed in 610 this year and it was so unlevel it took all the blocking I had to get "close". $86 a night doesn't have to be concrete or asphalt but run a box blade over it and level it occasionally. Again, we've stayed there 4 of the last 6 years and won't be back. Also if you go place close attention to the map and then you'll still get lost. The map they have is very rudimentary. We sat at our campsite and had to help several people figure out where they were supposed to be. They don't help you, they give you a general map. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Motorhome.

Had a pull through site in new section. This site had enough room for 2 coaches. Site was level and all utilities were very convenient. Site had a picnic table and fire ring. Check in was very easy and staff very friendly. There is a shuttle to the boat dock if going to the island with 2 pick up locations in the park. As stated in previous this is a very large park with some great sites. The park store was well stocked even for this late in their season. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Motorhome.

Very large campground. All types of spaces, some larger than others, tent sites as well. Utilities can be confusing, my electric was behind and in neighbors space. Good pressure/current. No cable. Wifi slow - free, can buy upgrade to stream. Your signal may depend on where you are, some areas better than others. site 1125 near wifi and water. very wide site If you have a large unit you can park the car next to the camper. On site store, bike rental, pool etc. camp right on the lake, view of bridge. Found Verizon signal weak, used weboost, the signal varies with some area having a better signal its a large park. Many sites satellite friendly, ask when booking. Downtown about three miles they have a shuttle. No onsite laundry. No trash bins though park, no pick up, have to drive to front entrance to dump trash. They have an early arrival holding area and dump stations. Very efficient check in with many windows open. Found it fast and easy. Nice beach in campground with large grass areas to walk the dog. Will stay here again. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Travel Trailer.

Upon arrival checkin was easy and we were given a map and a bunch of information. This is a very large and busy campground. As we were driving into the campground there were some very nice secluded sites. Some bigger than others but very nice. As we found site 1199 we were quite pleased at the width and length of the site. However we were very close to our neighbors in the rear. Now for the hookups, we had to search through the shrubs and had to ask the people behind us. Luckily we had enough of 30 feet to reach the power supply and had to walk through the neighbors site to get to it. Water was way in the back. Sewer was also positioned in the back of the site. Once everything was found and connected all services worked well. The campground has many activities going on. The property has great areas to site along Lake Huron and watch the sunset and to go swimming. They also have shuttle service to the ferry to Mackinac Island. Now for the not so good. Some of the sites around us are very close together. So much so they cannot even open their awnings. This also welcomes very noisy and rowdy groups of people. Despite quiet hours starting at 10, people were going strong until 11:45 and no one came around to break up the group or warn them. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed 4 nights on site number 1019, which was a spacious site close to the lake. Not lake front, but probably only a few hundred yards away. The site was very level and had plenty of room for our RV and large screen room. The utility hookup all worked very well, but were scattered around on different parts of the site. Not really a problem, but would be very confusing if hooking up at night for the first time. Our site was spacious, but there are a lot of sites that are pretty tight, especially along the lake front. This is a BIG campground with lots of sites and lots of people during the summer. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing park this may not be your place, but we had a very enjoyable time and the park seems to quiet down pretty quickly after 10pm. We rode the bike path to Mackinac City several times which we really enjoyed and made seeing the sites of the city very easy. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Motorhome.

This is a huge park. The layout is somewhat confusing as you are not given a map of the sites only street instructions. It took us 2 days to be able to navigate to our site without the directions. Some of the sites are right on the water, not sure what it takes to get one of those. There are lots of cabins for rent and tent sites. There is a large store and game room. You can get a free shuttle to the ferry docks for Makinaw Island. We were in the area that they call 50 amp full hook up large. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is about 3 miles south of town. The town has dozens of tourist shops and restaurants, but you need to drive 15 miles to Cheboygan to find Walmart or a large grocery store. Fort Michilimackinac is in town as is the Old Mackinaw Point Lighthouse. The ferries run out to Mackinaw Island all day. The views of the Mackinac Bridge are beautiful. We would come back and stay here again.

Great park with lots of views of the strait and bridge. Lots of things to do for the family as well. Some of the sites in our area were pretty tight and difficult to get into, but that’s about the only complaint I have. Would definitely recommend. The campground has phenomenal customer service! Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to a severe storm that hit our hometown causing extensive damage to our home and vehicle. They were very understanding and compassionate and better yet they refunded us the remaining two nights of our reservation. It doesn’t seem like much, but at the time, it was very much appreciated. I can’t wait to visit again to finish the trip we started. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park. The park is well maintained with friendly staff. Our site was set well back from the lake, but was generously sized with trees for shade. We needed 2 hoses to reach the water hookup. Many of the sites closer to the lake are tight, but there were some that might accommodate big rigs. Interior roads are all in good shape, some are narrow but doable in a big rig. There are large grassy common areas along the lake with picnic tables and benches, or bring your chairs down to sit in the shade and enjoy the view. There's also a swimming beach. The shuttle to the ferry left the park on time and we were picked up as soon as our ferry docked. We'll stay here again. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Motorhome.
