This is the second time we have stayed at Duck Creek, we love it here but there are some things that could be improved. As stated by someone else the park is getting very popular and the pool is too small for the park's size. The internet is choppy, 1 minute it's working great, then the next it's very slow. Please do not take either of these as a reason not to stay there, the staff is fantastic, the park is very well maintained, and plenty of things to do in the area Michigan's Adventure is across the street (and you don't hear a lot of noise from it Whitehall is 10 minutes away with nice shops Silver lake and the sand dunes are 30 minutes away. Grand Haven is 20 minutes away. Great place to stay. We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

If you don't have kids this is NOT where you want to be. Pool too small for the park, kids overrun the hot tub, laundry only has 4 washers for whole park. Nothing else here. Political and controversial signs on display like I have seen no where else. Landscaping upkeep disappointing after visits to other resorts. We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Expensive campground but very nice place well kept, clean wonderful staff. This was probably our highest cost for a whole summer trip but knew the cost going in and felt it is well worth it, truly a resort feel to the place. We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Plenty of things nearby to see and do, this could be a centrally located spot for Mi. Adventure and about a half hour ride to the dunes.

Great park. Very spacious with level paved sites and roads. Nice clean fire pits. They clean fire pits and wash tables between occupants. Close to amusement and water park so good place for families. Helpful staff. Water pressure needed to be better. We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This was a very nice park. Lots of families staying for extended periods. If you are a smaller fifth wheel or a camper the spaces are well suited for you. Your RV will fit on the concrete pad & your tow car on the concrete space adjacent to it. If you are a larger motor home like us it is a tight squeeze to fit the tow car in. There is a dog park but it was off in a corner under the trees & looked like it would be loaded with mosquitos. There are plenty of places to walk your dog other than that. The laundromat was very nice. The office staff was very nice. The park is gated for security. You get a key card that you can drop in the box outside the office if you leave before the office is open. If you bring pets proof of vaccination is required at check in. We had no problem pulling in satellite signal. There is cable, too. The amusement park across the highway did not cause a problem while we were there, either with noise or traffic. We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Everything at this park is well done. The grass is green and cut; the pads are level, utilities are good, streets are wide, laundry is clean, pool is nice. It is the best place to stay in the area. We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great side trips to Lake Michigan and across from the park was an amusement park. But it didn't have any impact on the park.

Overall Rating:

Duck Creek RV resort is about 10 miles north of Muskegon. Right across the street from a large amusement and water park, but most of the traffic for that venue comes from the other direction. The entrance across the creek is a little tight. The queue area is wide but not long, and a big rig and tow can block traffic for others trying to enter the registration area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Access is controlled with gates and you are issued a gate card. On checking out, staff actually came out to your RV to retrieve the card so you didn't have to get out and go into the office....nice touch! Someone takes you to your site and helps you park. The roads are paved and wide. The sites are all back-ins. They are level, paved and spacious. Each has a generous patio, grass and landscaping. There is a large, grassy common area behind many of the sites to play catch or throw the frisbee. Really nice pool and playground. The restrooms are very nice but are located at the pool area and can get crowded. A second location for restrooms would be nice. The grounds are beautifully cared for. The Internet was hit or miss, at times very good and at times very bad. No cable. Sites are satellite friendly. Utilities worked well. We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Wonderful resort. Clean and well maintained. Friendly people that make your stay enjoyable. We actually came here to visit Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park, but enjoyed the amenities at the resort and Lake Michigan just as much. The hot tub was nice and there were adult only swim/spa hours from 9:00-11:00 each night. The sites are designed to meet today's rigs. Each site has a concrete parking space for tow vehicle or toad, and patio with built in fire ring. Very thoughtful in the complete design and layout of this park. One of the quietest parks we've ever been to at night during the posted quiet hours. We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nicest park I've been to. Just beautiful sites and great amenities. It's close to Theme park. Each site has perfectly manicured lawn and custom fire pit and cement pad. Beautiful pool, hot tub and grand room. Also has volleyball courts and other outdoor games. I can't say enough good things about the park. On the down side it is pricey at $60 a night but you are close to adventure Michigan theme park. One negative was at dusk the mosquitoes were out in force. They also pick up garbage from you at your site everyday. We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We got there at night and had a problem with our car...Site person was VERY ACCOMODATING and helped us with our car. Very clean park, nice and secluded, concrete pads, We stayed the week that the park celebrated HALLOWEEN which was 2 weeks before... very nice people eventhough park was completely full... we had to get into the passing out candy.. many RV owners decorated their sites for the event. It was fun!... nice pet park, clean restrooms and laundry facility. This will be the only place we stay while in Muskegon! We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here 8/5-8/7 to visit Michigan's Adventure. We were greeted by a professional friendly staff. We were escorted by a groundskeeper to our site and made sure we were able to find it and aid with any backing in if needed. We were able to do a late checkout for $3.00 per hour, which was fantastic, so the kids could enjoy the entire day at the amusement park. (We rode our bike back and forth to Michigan's Adventure. It is about a one mile ride. Our 6 year old did it without any problems.) Nice, freshly mowed green grass with a lawn irrigation system so it was not dried up and dying. Level concrete pads, no leveling needed. Decent water pressure. Full hookups. They also picked up bagged trash bags at the site for your convenience. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Our kids loved the playground! Very clean and well-maintained. This is our first year RVing but this was by far the best campground we stayed at.

There are areas to lock up your bikes; bring your own lock. They allow re-entry in the park in case you need to go to your RV for lunch, to check on your pet etc... During the week it is quiet but avoid Saturday as they are busy! We can't wait to go back next year! We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We have camped at this park twice now and our family loved the stay. The staff is very welcoming, we arrived later at night and the host brought us right to our site and helped us back in. Nice big concrete lots, with concrete going all the way around fire pit, had plenty of room to park our 2 vehicles even. Landscaped lots with lots of grass for the kids to play in. An important factor for me is cleanliness and they had it, no dirt being tracked in our trailer. The playground is state of the art, I have never seen one this nice, it has rubber (track like) ground keeping it safe, and of course clean! The pool, hot tub and kiddy splash area was also very nice and well maintained. I love that I felt safe enough for my kids to just ride their bikes around the park and go to the play ground or game room since it's so secure with a gated entry. The staff often drives around on golf carts making sure people are being safe, always wave, and even pick up garbage and bring fire wood and ice right at your site. We did not use them but the showers/bathrooms were very clean, they have a laundry room and game room in their club house as well. The kids also enjoyed playing basketball and beach volleyball. My only criticisms would be to allow 2 key cards for the gate, as my husband and I would often leave at separate times while I commuted to work. And there is allot of barking from dogs, not in the campground but behind it at a dog boarding house. Not their fault, but it's unfortunate they are so close. Prices are high, but worth it for all the amenities. Would be nice if they offered the Good Sam Discount at least. We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
