Bad. Had trash out by 10:00 am, guy knocked on door at 11:00 am with trash bag in hand, threw on ground, yelling at me about leaving trash out after 10. And left the trash behind. Had to leave a week early due to medical issues. Would not refund any part of the $600. Our neighbor there told us the site was rented the next day for the week we left. I called the office 3 times a week for a month and no one called me back. Had considered purchase a site but not now. And on top of that the office staff were very rude and unaccommodating. Roads were clean and hook/unhook were easy. Site Internet never worked, cable was OK, satellite better. The sites on the main road to the park models very busy. Nice pool, but small and hot tub never got hot enough. Very close to great store for food and necessities. Site was quiet except for the two barking dogs left in neighbors coach of which management did not respond to. Lots of AA type entitled campers. Seems like turning park into many fifth wheels and park models, not building any more Class A sites. Access was easy from all points. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very close to shopping, salons, hardware store. Just down the road a park to see the sunset over the bay. The town of Traverse City and the wineries were spectacular.

Read previous reviews about the staff and other campers being unfriendly. This couldn't be further from the truth. The staff and other campers were extremely friendly, waving and always saying "hi". We had two Harleys, and were leery on how we would be received. No worries, everything was wonderful. The park is extremely clean and the buffet breakfast was delicious. Would definitely go again. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

High end rv park. Well maintained and very quiet. Most sites are owner occupied. Restricted to motor coaches and large fifth wheels. Our site was somewhat tight to back end without getting on the grass. Close to Golf and casino. Friendly helpful staff. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest RV parks in which I've ever stayed. It is an ownership park, with all the lots improved in some way. Many are beautifully landscaped. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff is very friendly and helpful, providing brochures and information about things to see and do in the area. Interior roads are paved and easily navigable, and all sites are paved and/or concrete with patios and tables. There are no fire pits and no open fires are allowed. No pull through sites - only pull-in or back-in. Hook ups were conveniently placed. Power was steady, water pressure was good, and WiFI was average, but throttled for heavy users. Sewer connection was snug, but surprisingly not threaded. Water connection is already split so it's easy to flush your tank without having to disconnect the water. We stayed 8 nights in pull-in site #119 in the Class-A-only south loop. We extended our stay for 3 nights and moved to back-in site #91. We actually liked #91 better because if was larger and backed up to the woods. Site 119 faces the artificial pond as well as a large tree, so you still have privacy even with the front blinds open because of the tree. Both sites were plenty long for our 38' coach plus toad. We locked all three western arc Dish satellites in both sites. The park amenities are excellent, with a nice pool, enclosed dog park, and a tennis court. The seasonals are friendly and engaging. There are tons of things to see and do in the area. We can't wait to return, but next time for at least 2 weeks. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $99.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in a Class A only, pull in site on the pond in the north loop. About a third of these sites are nicely landscaped, have some amenities like nice sitting areas or knee walls and are well maintained. Another third have poor to no landscaping, no additional amenities and are well maintained, and a third have no landscaping, no additional amenities and are poorly maintained. As this is our first time here, I had no idea of the wide variation in quality for sites at this absolutely premium price point. The big problem here is that all sites, depending strictly on their location, are priced the same --- and they will not allow you to pick the site you want. They assign it and won't tell you which you get in advance of your arrival. Our site (188) fell in the last group. This site is BROWN because it has no irrigation. The site is full of weeds throughout ... some is which are becoming specimens in height and extent... because it is not being maintained at all other than weekly grass cutting. I brought this to the attention of the person at check in. They said they would note the complaint to the owner, but couldn't move me to another site appropriately maintained. No excuse for this at a hundred bucks a night! Especially since I made this reservation nearly six months ago for an 11 day stay. The resort itself is very nice. Lovely pool, tennis, pickleball, ponds with fountains, activities, and friendly campers and resort personnel. A third of these sites are worth the price. Were it not for the bad pricing and reservation policy, this place could be a 9 or 10. But to charge a hundred bucks a night for being stuck with a site that generally has the amenities and upkeep of a mediocre county park makes it a poor choice. And you have about an even chance of getting a bad one as you do a very good one. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Well laid out with very nice landscaping. Clean and well maintained. We had a pull in site which faced the pond. Very nice. It's an ownership park but people are not cliquish. Wifi was not so hot didn't work one whole day so we opted to use our tether service. It's Tengonet anyway which we never had success with. Very nice clubhouse area. Close to Traverse City and all of it's tourism. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

One of the best RV resorts we have stayed at to date. Very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are just about perfect.

If you use a tow dolly for your TOAD as soon as you check in and get to your site the staff will pick your tow dolly up and store it for you. When you are ready to leave they will bring it back and help you hook up if needed. This resort is class A, C and 5th wheel resort only. Designated area/sites for the class C's and 5th wheels. All RV's must be 10 years or newer and must be 28ft. or longer. Beautiful grounds and area. We will return. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Traverse Bay is a lovely park with nicely manicured facilities and flowers throughout. The internal roads are asphalt and wide while sites are concrete and large making navigation around the park and into sites easy for even the largest of rigs. The park has a section that is class A only and a section for Class A and Fifth wheels, both of which are beautiful. The park is located close to Traverse City making it easy to take advantage of everything offered there. Wifi was pretty good, it would get a bit slow at certain times of the day but mostly good. Cable offered many channels although it was not HD. We would certainly return here if we were in the area. The wash facilities were very nice. We were in the park after Labor Day so they had closed the pool and hot tub and there were no social activities to planned. I felt the price was a little high given not all the amenities were available. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Campground is a purchase site resort..but you can rent a site thru the management office. Our site for 21 days was a back in #79, backing to entrance road with a treed space between site and road. Resort is one of the most beautiful developments we have ever stayed in, paved roads and over sized sites, grassy with picnic table and carriage house( this site owned and carriage house locked). Many owner activities you can join in on even as a guest tenant. Very, very friendly community. Only 2 downsides : in the area we were in the well water had a lot of sulfur, the water smelled and tasted funny, so bring your charcoal water filters and the wifi is non existent where we were, but depending where you are and how close to a transmitter in the park some people got a signal, but plan to use your hot spot. This park is directed to adults. Class A 's in our section and in newer section and class B&C in middle. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.
