3 RV Parks near Angle Inlet, Minnesota
Aug 2016 - $40.00
Springsteel Resort and Marina is a fishing resort with a handful of campsites for non-seasonal folks. There are 2 full service sites. The rest are electric only. They do not take reservations. Arrive, select a site that suits you, and then go to the bait house and complete a guest reservation form. You pay when you leave. The open campsites are on the left just before you reach the restaurant and bait house. The folks here are crazy about fishing in Lake of the Woods. They are super friendly and stop by to visit. The restaurant is pretty good. The view of the lake is pretty good, too. You are very near (3 miles) Canada, so if your cell phone works, it may think it is in Canada. We stayed here as a staging spot to visit the Northwest Angle, the Northern most spot in the lower 48 states. Once in the Angle, we found that there is a campground there at another fishing resort. We liked Springsteel. We used the boat ramp to launch our kayaks and had a paddle in the lake. Lake of the Woods is really big, it is the 37th largest in the world. - ShoreXplorers
