Beautiful park with large, green grassy sites, walking trails, and a beach and playground. The managers were very friendly and helpful. We camped at Collinwood Regional Park in a Travel Trailer.

Love the trails and the beach. Managers were very rude. Water hook up is very inconvenient. Well went out, and managers were very short and rude about giving updates. Left a day early and no refund was offered. Will definitely NOT be going back. We camped at Collinwood Regional Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed for the weekend with two children and our dog. Although the campground and beach were clean and the sites were spacious, the managers were very rude to us and to our kids. No matter how many times we moved our vehicles, they were constantly around to make us get off the grass. We had one tire on the grass! We were told to put our dog on a leash, when their own dog was not on a leash, nor were two dogs on leashes of people I suspect to be seasonal campers. My daughter went to the camp store for ice cream, but was turned away although it was only a few minutes after the store closing. The door was still open. The manager was sitting at the cash register. Really? You couldn't take the 75 cents? Disappointing stay and a beautiful park. We camped at Collinwood Regional Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Grocery store is 3 miles away. Good fishing, nice pier. Avoid the managers!

By far the best campground in central Minnesota. Very friendly guest personel. Easy check in and check out. Sites are immaculate. Clean restrooms and showers. There is tons of shade and grass everywhere. There are walking trails in the woods. The lake is beautiful. The beach is large and clean. There is a huge playground, great for kids of all ages. We love this place and stay here several times a year! We camped at Collinwood Regional Park in a Tent Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Extremely lovely small county park CG. Spotless bathrooms with showers set up as separate rooms with locking doors - Nice! Huge sites. A few pull-thrus, but most were back-ins. All nice and level. Some trees for the big rigs to watch out for, but nothing too bad. Water hookups were rather comical though. Not at each site, so everyone was running hoses with Y connectors off the spigots throughout the CG. Hoses snaking everywhere! Management seemed ok with it, very relaxed atmosphere. Just wood (delivered), ice and I think ice cream at the office. Grocery store 3 miles away in Cokato. Small picturesque lake to swim and fish in. Fills up fast in the summer! Great relaxing place! We camped at Collinwood Regional Park in a Tent Trailer.
