I stayed at this campground for one night when travelling to pick up a new camper. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and guided me to my camp-site. The campground was easy to maneuver through and they were able to give me a long pull through so that I could leave my truck connected. The campground was clean and well maintained and I would come back here again for a longer stay. - Greg and Kim
Sep 2018 - $40.00
The staff is friendly and helpful. The campground is maintained well. The Rally Center is a great benefit for groups and camping clubs. The pull through sites with full hook ups are a good value at $40 a night, however, the sites are small and very close together. Each site has a gravel pad for parking your camper and about a 10-12 foot wide strip of grass between you and the next camper. It's also very noisy with a shooting range down the road, and trains going through nearby all day and all night with their whistles going. - Juniper94
Aug 2018 - $41.00
WONDERFUL campground, good management, level sites, excellent electrical service (even in an almost full campground in 90 + degree weather) and water pressure. Immaculately clean bathrooms and swimming pool. Office folks were knowledgeable of the area. - Mom_of_Two
Jun 2018 - $30.00
No reservations - First Come First Serve only. Very nice county park with dirt roads. Sites are basically park on the grass. There are 3 sites with 50 amp service, about 15 with 30 amp service, and more with just 20 amp mostly for tent camping. It was very quiet here, not much going on during the week. Weekends may be different!!!!! Lots of trees but a few spots where satellite will work and I found one with 30 amp service - power and water only and dump station when you leave. Good place to stay when exploring the area and St Cloud. - Johnny xxxxx
Jul 2016 - $20.00
Just passing through MN and came across this little gem in Rice, MN. Can't beat the price! Checked in on a Sunday afternoon, the place was pretty much deserted. Quiet, 44-site campground with something for everyone. 50 amp service, water, tons of activities such as frisbee golf, horseshoes, basketball court, playground for the kiddos. Flush toilets and clean showers. This is an honor system campground. We picked our site, set up the motor home and walked to the office and put our $20 in an envelope. Very cool! Easy access and plenty of room for our 42' Gulf Stream. We had dinner down the street at a quaint little bar and grill called Rumors. Try the fried chicken, for sure! - Ekstrom Fyra
Sep 2016 - $21.00
We stayed in the overflow along a golf course with water and electric. It was very green everywhere, but a nearby railroad had many loud trains and train whistles, especially while we were attempting to sleep. This is an Airstream only park, though we saw a motorhome of a different brand also. it was a busy weekend and the overflow was on grass and quite level, so we were glad to find it. I don't know what they have with full hookups since most of it seems to be sites owned by Airstream owners. Overall it met our needs for the night except for the trains. - AirstreamGene
Sep 2012 - $30.00
Very clean and well maintained. A lot of rules that are enforced. No access to trails or other activities. No pool. Won't stay here again. - MarkandLaura
Aug 2011 - $35.00
This is a very peaceful location. The owners are great. We were driving through Minnesota and needed a place for the night. They were very accommodating and the site was great. It is a campground with many retired campers and they really do not have kids at the campground. It was so relaxing and clean that we may make a trip back just to relax sometime. We really appreciated the hospitality - Cudpal
Jun 2008 - $35.00
RiversEdge RV Park is a quiet seasonal RV campground in Becker MN. With many large wooded lots located on the Elk River near St. Cloud and the Twin Cites. Me and my family enjoyed the peace and quiet very much. - RiversEdge
Sep 2016 - $25.00
This would be a decent $12 park.
The park has a nice playground and riverside - which is open to the public/city.
The sites are 90 degree turns with a pretty narrow asphalt road. The road has sunken near the restroom (septic system?) They had dumped a bunch of big river rock to compensate.
We had a 40 rig and arrived at night, and in the rain. There was a lot of standing water. I was worried that we were going to get stuck if we had to drive in the grass. I found one site that had an angle to it, but we had to drive over the sunken part of the road. My husband said "I'll just gun it!" and we made it.
Sites are electric only with posts with 20 and 30 amp stuck every-other site. Presumably shared?
There was a dropbox with self-registration. $25 a night. Price increases after 14 days. I never saw a ranger.
There was a water spigot in the center of campground. A pick up truck came and filled 2- 55 gallon drums.
NO DUMP STATION!
Bathroom was a running water toilet and sink only, no showers. Dusty, low quality. - mmette00
Sep 2010 - $20.00
A place to stop. Fairly private. Not very handy for bigger rigs, our 30 ft 5ver used every bit of the roads and needed grass to finish the turns. Some trees need pruning. - stetwood
Aug 2018 - $44.00
I give this campground a 7 because the roads are hard to navigate. The trees have grown up and that makes access to some sites difficult. The campground has plenty of activities for children. The pool is entire campground is booked solid oneeekends. Weekdays are not full. There is a neighborhood of seasonal/permanent RVs but they are set back from the transient campers. Access is good, except in the park. Very little exists right outside the park. One must drive for 15 minutes to get great amenities. WiFi is good, satellite is not. I would not return here because I am 40' plus a tow. - 12858
Aug 2016 - $22.00
An overnight stop. All utilities used and all worked well. - Sewmom
Aug 2016 - $40.00
Level gravel site. Just long enough for our MH and trailer. A tree between sites provided some shade. We needed to use our sewer line extension as the hook-up was at the very end of the site. Cost for washer/dryers was high ($1.75) but machines were clean and in good working order. Laundry room itself was clean and decorated. We stayed 3 nights and our one criticism would be the dog walk area. They have a perfect area for a fenced park but no real area exists now. - Boomerific
Jun 2018 - $38.00
The staff that we encountered was not very friendly or helpful. One male subject acted as if he was put out when asked a question about mail service. We had our own Kayaks but they will not transport you if you do not rent from them. We were willing to pay a fee for transportation to the river put in but no deal. There are a lot of seasonal people here so, maybe the staff takes better care of them and to check with the transient travelers. - JR 108
Sep 2016 - $30.00
Our camping club, the MN Going Gophers, held their fall camp out at Two Rivers this year. We had 16 units in attendance so we got a group discount. While the nightly rate is on the pricey side in the summer, it's very reasonable before Memorial Day and after Labor Day. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with making the arrangements and while we were camping. An employee stopped by during our stay just to remind us that the pavilion was available if we wanted to use it and to see if we needed anything. The campground is beautiful with lush, green grass, large level sites, and well maintained buildings and landscaping. The lower campground is surrounded on three sides by the two rivers. Every site in the lower campground has a good view of the rivers and there are many sites right on the river shore. The upper campground does not have a view of the rivers but is closer to the office, pool, pavilion, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and it's a short walk down to the rivers. There was a small pine tree on our site that prevented us from backing in far enough to park our truck in front of the camper, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to open the awning. We were able to park the truck perpendicular to the camper though so it wasn't a problem. One unusual feature of this campground is that they have a security gate. You have to pay $20 for a gate card and register every vehicle with the office. You get the $20 back when you check out. This was a little inconvenient when a member of our group arrived early Saturday morning but couldn't get in the gate. Even when her husband, who had a gate card, went to let her in, an employee noticed and said she couldn't go in because her car wasn't registered with the office and the office didn't open until 9:00am. There is a large parking lot next to the office that she had to leave her car in. - Juniper94
Jul 2015 - $45.00
Overall very satisfied with this park. Staff was generally friendly except for a couple of people working the pool area. Sites were great. Layout of the campground was ideal. Very level and spacious. Nearby river offered plenty of activities. Tubing was fun. Beach and pool were well maintained and the kids loved both. Mini golf was a well maintained course, but cost extra. Camp store had the bare minimum. Nearest store of any significance is 20 minutes away, so bring what you need. Several minor details to keep in mind. 1) Campground was difficult to find. Signage was not easily visible, with grass and weeds covering most of the sign and GPS was not helpful. Trying to find it in a downpour in a big rig with a tow in farm fields was challenging. Office staff was not answering phones to guide us in. 2) Shower houses, although clean, were limited. There are only two for the entire camp with one toilet and several showers in each. Plan ahead if you have to use it! Its a hike! 3) Advertised WiFi was essentially non-existent from our site. Didn't bother us, but be aware. Despite these inconveniences, we would definitely stay again. Perfect for a long weekend away with the kids. - mm1407
Jul 2017 - $42.00
Stayed here a few weeks ago. It started off with an awful smell in the office upon checking in. Things did not get much better. The place is very run down. It is overloaded with seasonals that are run down, and there is junk everywhere. They need to cut back the branches of most trees to prevent trees scratching your camper. Site was level. People party all night here. We will not be back. - jejmjj5

What is with all the terrible reviews? It also appears many of the reviews are for another campground in the area because AJ Acres doesn't even have a pool. I wouldn't believe what you are reading on here because it seems many of the reviews are not for this campground but rather a different campground in Clearwater. For some clarification, YES this campground has dirt roads, when it is dry they can be dusty and when it rains they can be a bit muddy, but you are camping-if you want tar and concrete camp in your backyard. No pool but a large beach. It is camping you will encounter dirt and bugs. You don't want it get a hotel. This is a great place to camp but be prepared to CAMP!!! They have amenities so it isn't like you are roughing it. Water, electric, fully stocked store, beach, bait, fishing pier, shower houses, swing sets, etc. Not first class like a resort but great for a family weekend out of the city to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. We camped here several times a year and keep coming back. - campit
Aug 2011 - $39.00
We decided not to stay here once we had a conversation with the lady at the front desk. We stopped in at about 8PM just looking for a place to park and sleep and be on our way by 8AM the next morning. The individual was very rude and really didn't want us to stay. It was if it was to much work and when she gave me the price for 7 people she had the nerve to say you might as well stay at a hotel because it will be cheaper. From the outside things looked nice but if that is how people in Minnesota treat people passing through, - Cudpal
Jul 2016 - $36.00
This campground is being redeveloped by two couples who love what they do!
Sites are pull-throughs and relatively level.
Each site has water and electric.
WiFi and cable to come.
Firewood $10 for a huge load.
New office, showers, restrooms, laundry.
Golf nearby in Milaca.
Pleasure to stay here! - Sir_Charles395
Aug 2018 - $35.00
Pull thru site on level concrete. Camped here for 7 days. Plenty big for our 39' fifth wheel and truck. Mixed in with permanent sites but not an issue. Park is well maintained and clean. Our site was about 100 yards from the Mississippi River. Nice deck on the water. Did not use bathrooms or showers. Wifi weak. Trash pick up at site. Monticello is a nice town. Everything you need close by. I would stay here again. Owner very friendly and guided us to our site. - Clockdoctor
Aug 2018 - $36.00
All hookups worked fine. The WiFi was weak. The site was flat and easy pull through. Our site was roomy. There is a mix of permanent, seasonal, and transient campers. The campground sits right next to the Mississippi River with a deck to sit on and contemplate the issues of our time. So what if the office is in back of the campground. Signs bring you right to it. So what if the office is in the owner's home. He can still conduct business just as well as in a separate building. We were here for 17 days. Not a day went by that there wasn't someone out and about working around the campground. It is very well kept and clean. There's even a dog area (but could use a more sturdy fence). We would definitely stay here again. - Melodycthomas
Jul 2017 - $35.00
Stayed for 4 days. found the office with no problem just followed the signs. It's hidden in the back of the trailer park. Owner was very friendly, visited with him for about 20 minutes before we went to my site. Lots of trees and shade. He gave the choice of 3 spots to park in the place was almost full. He took me there then helped guide me in. Will be going back again. - Imawolf
